BOQ (CLEANING AND REPAIR OF SEWAGE LINES AND SEPTIC TANK MANHOLES IN AKASH VIHAR ZONE B AT AF STN SURATGARH )
M& L for cleaning of all blockages of Nahani traps/floor traps/bottle traps, blockage of WC's, 100 mm dia CI pipe upto 1 st manhole/Gt in shafts, vertical CI soil/waste pipe staks, CI Tee/door bends etc to maintain sewage system by employing Safaiwala from 09:00 hours to 17:00 hours with permissible lunch at Akash Vihar on daily basis with manual/pressure cleaning pump and flexible rods and other necessary mechanical equipments all as directed by Engr-in -charge. Note :- (i) Supervisors should received everyday complaint through MES complaint register for Akash Vihar. (ii) Penalty in case of not attending the complaint during same working day will be levied @ Rs. 250 per complaint. (iii) Rate included for all necessary T&P for mechanical cleaning/ manual cleaning shall be provided by Contractor. (iv) The Disposal of mud/silt, sludge & other debris retrieved from cleaning time should be remove outside of MOD premises complete all as specified and directed by Engr- in Charge. (v) If necessitated by JE/ Engr-in Charge/GE, contractor will attend the complaints as required on Sunday/Holiday
Cleaning of manholes complete of any size and at any location incl taking out sludge and other material deposited in manhole and its disposal to a distance n exc. 500M all as directed by Engr-in-Charge for depth of manholes as given below:-

Depth of manhole exc 2.00 M & n exc 3.00 M
Depth of manhole exc 3.00 M & n exc 4.5 m
Cleaning/Removal of sewage block in the existing line incl cleaning of complete line laid at any depth and at any location between two consecutive manholes/gully trap for the following :-
Two consecutive manhole or gully trap to manhole incl testing the pipe by pouring water from manhole all as directed to the entire satisfaction of Engr-in-Charge for 150mm bore SGSW/RCC pipe / DWCP pipe.
-do- but 200mm bore SGSW/RCC Pipe / DWCP pipe
-do- but above 300mm bore SGSW/RCC Pipe.
Note:- (a) No manual scavrage should be carried out for sewer line cleaning & blockage removal. (b) No bamboo should be used for removal of sewage blockage, it should be done throw extendable iron rode. (c) While cleaning of blocked sewage lines, the cutting & jetting machine required should be provided by contractor at his own arrangement for removal of blockage of sewer line cleaning, no extra amount shall be admissiible on this account. (d) During sewage cleaning work all safety precautions like safety belt, safety cap,hand gloves, oxygen cylinder & masks etc should be provided by contractor to labour.
Excavation in trenches not exceeding 1.50 metre wide and not exceeding 1.50 metre deep in soft/loose soil for foundations etc. or for cesspits etc. or for manholes not exc. 10 Sq. m on plan and not exc. 1.5 metre in depth or for shiftling existing sewage lines and getting out , complete all as specified and directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.

Returning, filling in, including spreading, leveling, watering and well ramming in layers not exceeding 25 cm thick, in soft/loose soil, complete all as specified and directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.
Removing excavated material to distance not exceeding 50 metre and depositing where directed at a level not exceeding 1.5 metre above the starting point in soil, complete all as specified and directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.
M&L for Cement concrete 1:4:8 type D2 using 40 mm graded stone aggregates as in in foundations, filling and mass concrete complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.
M &L Plain cement concrete (1:2:4) type B-1, using 20mm graded stone aggregate as in Surface channels, drains and similar works, complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.
Extra for forming fair finished drain or channels 30 cm inner girth in cement concrete, using extra cement including form/moulds mittred/stopped end etc , complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.
M & L Plain cement concrete (1:2:4) type B-1, using 20mm graded stone aggregate as in coping, bands etc like incl weathering, slightly rounded or chamfered throating as directed incl form work (straight or curved) and finish all exposed surface facing of concrete , complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.
Demolition of brick work or stone boulder masonry, built in cement mortar or cement lime mortar including all quoins, arches, pillars etc & removing debries out of MoD land, complete all as specified and directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.
M & L Brick work with sub class 'B' , straight or curved on plan exc 6m mean raidus built in cement mortar 1:6 , complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.
Cutting and grubbing of bushes / shrubs /babool branches etc surrounding manholes,Gully trap ,wall pipe and sewage line alignment etc and levelling of ground around the manholes,sewage line and finish the surface of wall and removing the waste material to a distance exc 50m and n exc 500m and clearing the site. Note :- (i) All T&P (like JCB etc ) and equipment’s required for clearance of site, safety requipment shall be arranged and made available by the contractor. ( ii) All safety measures for workmen to do work shall be provided by the contractor. (iii) If any existing govt assets(Like electric cables,water pipeline, storm water drain boundary walls etc) are damages during the site clerance /excavation contractor should repair the same with time without any delay at his own cost .
