Amount

Dehydration and Filtration of existing transformer oil in transformers (11 KV system step down to 11/0.433 KV) by centrifuging machine on site at different locations without disturbing the power supply system. The machine continuously run round the clock till obtaining the dielectric strength of oil 60 KV minimum 2.5 mm gap and carrying out IR test of primary and secondary of transformer including commissioning and testing of transformers after topping up with new transformer oil complete all as specified and directed. Note:- New Transformer oil for topping up shall be measured in relevant items of BOQ.

Supply and filling/Toping up new transformer oil low viscosity approved make as per IS 355 of 1992 and min di-electric strength 40 KV (RMS) at 2.5mm gap high viscosity in transformer complete all as specified and directed Make Power Oil/savita or any other approved make Note : (i) Test certificate from manufacturer of oil shall be provided by the contractor. (ii) Supply shall be given in sealed containers and empty containers shall be Govt Property.

Supply, laying & testing cable XLPE insulated, screened PVC bedded galvanised steel strip armoured HT electric power cable (heavy duty) 11000 volts grade with aluminum conductor11 KV (E) grade, cross sectional area 120 Sqmm 3 core as per IS-7098 suitable for earth system laid in trenches including taking out unserviceable /brunt HT cable of any type /rating, complete all as specified and as direcetd.

Excavation in trenches in any type of soil not exceeding 1.5 metre deep and not exceeding 1.5 mtr width and getting out soil including forming bottom surface to required slope/gradient for laying cables/pipes etc, complete all as specified and directed Note : (i) Excavation shall be made carefully in order to avoid damage of existing cables and protection cover/Bricks .

Returning, filling in excavated soil including spreading, leveling, watering and well ramming in layers of 25 cm thick after the cables etc. are laid, jointed and tested complete all as specified and directed .

Removal of surplus excavated soils to a distance not exceeding 50 M and depositing where directed at a level not exceeding 1.5 m above the starting point complete all as specified and directed.

Material and labour for sand cushioning with dry river sand in trenches for cushioning of underground cable line including spreading, leveling, well ramming completed all as specified and directed.

Supplying & Laying un-reinforced pre cast flat concrete cable protection cover of class HVP Type 1, 300mm x 180mm x 40mm Peak, factory made, ISI marked, complete all as specified and directed .

M&L for drilling suitable dia horizontal bore holes for insertion/ laying of upto 110mm bore HDPE pipe of any description below/under existing road surfaces/apron /floors etc with using mechanical and / or manual devices as required at site including making good the disturbed surfaces to match with the existing strata after laying pipes complete all as specified and directed. (NOTE : (i) Pipes shall be laid minimum 60 cm below/under existing road surfaces/ apron /floors etc). (ii) Equipment, tools and plant material (horizontal boring rig machine) required for boring shall be arranged by contractor withut any extra cost to the Govt.

Supply, laying & fixing in replacement double wall corrugated (DWC) pipes made of high density polythyline (HDPE) of size 110mm outer dia with all accessories i.e. all type of joints, Sockets, Elbows, bends and End caps etc, ISI marked. complete all as specified and directed by ..

Supplying and fixing in replacement of GI tubing, 80 mm bore, light grade as in sleeving/protection of cable etc fixed on pole / wall etc. With and including suitable size of MS clamp and nut, bolt ,washer etc complete all as specified and directed

Supply and fixing in replacement 2V, 100 AH maint free VRLA battery complete all as specified and directed.

Material and labour for testing the cables with high voltage DC testing machine and locating the fault in the cables by fault locating machine to pin point exact position of fault, disconnecting faulty 11 KV HT cables of different sizes from both ends, removal of Fault, Re-connections and testing of cables after removal of fault complete all as specified and directed. Notes : (i) All T&P and other acceseries required for checking and finding of fault in cable shall be provided by the Contractor (ii) Charges/rent of the fault locating mobile machine, operator, engineer, electricians etc shall be deemed to included rate quoted by Contractor. (iii) Checking and finding fault upto 03 places of same route of the cable will be considered as one Job

Disconnecting and taking out old unsrviceable HT joint and fixing only, jointing and testing cable jointing kit of 11 KV (Earthed) grade cable for straight through, cold shrinkable type complete with all jointing material and accessories suitable for 95 to 185 Sqmm 3 core XLPE armoured aluminium conductor cable of any sizes and type including excavation, returning and filling upto 10 mtrs, complete all as specified and directed. (Note : Straight through Joint 95 to 185 Sqmm issued under Sch B free for fixing)

Dismantling and taking out transformer of any capacity from its position from any location ie. two pole/four pole structure/plinths for repair / rewinding of distribution transformer 11/0.433 KV disconnecting / opening HV, LV electrical connections, earthing connections along with following other works for transformer:- (a) Transporation of transformer to workshop including loading and unloading and back to site by making necessary arrangement of T&P (Hydra/ vehicle/ tripoid to be arranged by contractor). (b) Opening of transformer top cover by extraction, removing of serviceable - unserviceable nuts bolts and washers etc in presence of JE/Engr-In-Charge (c) Draining out of transformer oil in dry and clean container and keeping in safe custody for reuse. (d) Lifting primary coil (HT) and secondary coil (LT), dismantling of transformer complete part by part carefully, and display all the parts without damaging any portion (e) Reassembeling the transformer complete with all existing serviceable parts and new parts as ordered. (g) Reinstall the transformer at site in position as directed after repair connecting HV, LV electrical connections, earthing connections and testing to entire satisfaction on load. Notes :-(a) Payment for repair work ie winding of coil, dehyderation, transformer oil topup to be measured and paid seprately in appropriate item of BOQ (b) Supply of new nut, bolts & washers of transformer top cover shall deemed to be included in UNIT RATE QUOTED.

M& L for rewinding of HV leg coil of copper conductor for transformer of any capacity complete with insulation, varnishing by vaccum impregnation and baking of coil assembly to match with the existing original winding coils, etc complete all as specified and directed.

M& L for rewinding of LV leg coil of copper conductor for transformer of any capacity complete with insulation, varnishing by vaccum impregnation and baking of coil assembly to match with the existing original winding coils, etc complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for replacement of old silica Gel for dehydrating Breather of T/F cleaning the breather internally and externally and filling new silica gel blue colour in dehydrating breather.

Supply and fixing in replacement of brass male contact suitable for Gang Operated Devices, 11000 volts grade complete all as specified and directed.

S&F in replacement for non-metal part (Porcelain) HV bushing complete with packing for outdoor/indoor/ canopy type distribution transformer of any capacity complete all as specified and directed.

S&F in replacement HV bushing (Brass) terminal rod of suitable size for outdoor/indoor/canopy type distribution transformer (11 /0.433 kV) of any capacity, with washer of brass of suitable dia & length for transformer terminal with BRASS nut and bolts and washers 8 nos complete with oil seal, gaskets, ring washer etc complete all as specified and directed.

S&F in replacement LV bushing (Brass) studs rod of suitable size for outdoor/indoor/canopy type distribution transformer (11 /0.433 kV) of any capacity, with washer of brass of suitable dia & length for transformer terminal with BRASS nut and bolts and washers complete with oil seal, gaskets, ring washer etc complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and replacement of Packing gasket for top cover and terminal box for HT and LT side as per existing sample for out door/indoor type transformer including nuts, bolts and washer etc for upto 630 KVA transformer (after draining out transformer oil and refilling to the same transformer oil) complete all as specified and directed. Note :- Cost of minor spares i.e nut bolt and washer if required to complete the job is deemed to be included in quoted rates.

Supply and replacement of air breather assembly as per existing size, shape and specification with and including filled silica gel upto 2 kg as per sample complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for cross arms, bracings, supports, clamps and back plates fabricated from steel section including nuts, bolts, washers, welding bending cold or hot drilling holes for bolts in any shape or size as indicated or directed and inclusive of one coat primer , one under coat and one finishing coat of alumn paint complete all as specified and directed.

Fixing only 11KV air break gang operated switches vertical/horizontal mounted includin insulators and operating mechanism including dismantling old unsv air break gang operated switches , complete all as specified and directed. (Note : GOD to be issued under Sch B free for fixing, old unsv GOD to be deposited to MES store)

M& L for maintenance and overhauling of 11 KV VCB including opening, checking, cleaning with CTC, cleaning wiping of insulating components, primary & secondary circuit, spouts, bus bars, supports, CT,PT, check oil for leakage, cleaning contact tips, cover the exposed portion of bus bar with HT tape & heat shrinkable sleeves, cleaning of bushes, spout insulators for visible crack, tightness old fasteners holding moving contacts, check & correct the buffer gap adjustment & mechanism settings, testing , cleaning & overhauling of complete operating mechanism for smooth functioning, checking of control panel wiring for operation & protection for tripping & closing & rectifying the defects including Deoxidizing of all electrical contacts replacement unserviceable wiring with ferrule & lugs, reassembling & testing of complete VCB all as directed. M&L for spray painting (including bringing compressor of suitable size at site) old painted steel or iron surface of transformer (11/0.433KV) complete with all connected fittings & fixtures i.e. buchholz relay, conservator tank, cooling fins and other standard fittings & attachments as per existing colour scheme and pattern with atleast two coats of synthetic enameled paint after duly preparing the surface by cleaning with scrapers and emrey paper to the entire satisfaction including writing of SM No complete all as specified and directed. Note:- Contractor will apply one layer of greese over specification plate / any written letter before painting and clean the same after painting, rates for the same is deemed to be included in the item quoted rates.

M&L for cleaning and removal of disintegrated & deteriorated paint by hand scrapping and preparation of of old painted exposed surfaces of Chain link fencing of 11 KV yard incl gate etc and applying two coat of aluminium / Synthetic enamel paint over a coat of a red oxide all around the exposed chain link fencing, compete all as specified and directed.

Cutting, trimming of hanging/ extended braches of trees upto a distance 3 meter from the overhead HT/LT line and making the line clear upto the entire length of the feeder including removal and disposal of the cut tree branches 50 meters away from the site complete all as specified and directed. Note : The Rates shall inclusive of T&P, hydraulic ladder, equipment such as motorised diesel operated hacksaw etc complete all as specified and as directed. Note : 1. Only branch area to be measured not one span. 2. Necessary prior permission shall be obtained from concerned Engineer-in-charge before carrying out the work. 3. M&L for cleaning and preparation of of old painted exposed surfaces all existing steel tubular poles 11 mtr long upto finial taper plug including cross arm, clamp, bracket etc and applying one coat of aluminium paint all around the exposed steel surface with and including one coats of paint in 30 cm wide bands/ strips around the poles alternatively with black & white synthetic enamel paint up to height of 1.5 m from top of PCC coping of the pole and including writing pole No. in 8 cm height letter with black enameled paint in a circle of 20 cm dia with base of synthetic enamelled paint (colour approved by GE) on pole at above top most band compete all as specified and directed.
