M&L, Earthing complete with GI earth plate electrode of size 60cmx60cmx6mm thick buried directly in ground (earth pit not less than 2.25m deep below the normal ground level) with top edge of plate not less than 1.5m below normal ground level connected to GI earth strip 32 x 6mm as earth lead by means of bolts, nuts, washers and check nuts made out of copper earth plate all as shown on Electrical Plate No. 3 of SSR Part-I including testing on completion complete all as specified and directed. Note 1: The unit rate shall also include for earth work in any type of soil, PCC (1:3:6) type C1 chamber, RCC 1:2:4 type B-1 using 20mm graded stone aggregate, 50mm thick RCC cover slab reinforced with 6 Nos of 8mm dia TMT bars both ways, funnel with watering pipe 20mm dia medium grade, GI protection pipe light grade 40mm dia and wire mesh complete in addition to item No. 1(a) to (e) of preamble (Notes) under sub-heading earthing, specified on Sl. Removing excavated soil to a distance not exceeding 50m and depositing where directed. at a level not exceeding 1.5m above the starting point complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and filling pulverized stone dust to the full width of trenches for protection of cables including spreading and punning down including watering consolidation complete all as specified. Note : Thickness of stone dust will be paid after cushioning after punning.
