Minor repair and lifting of gates at check dam Pranjali by way of dismantling the shafts from the gear boxes of all 10 gates. Cleaning of the inside of gear box and greasing them. Providing and greasing of the worm gearing system. Check and fitting of keys in the key ways of worm gear box properly. Providing and fitting of new seals to gear boxes by replacing the damaged ones , providing and fitting of 2 nos bearings to the shafts of rope drums in place of damaged, assembling of gear boxes with the shafts of both the drums of all the gates. Topping of gear boxes with gear oil upto required level. Dismantling the hoist rope from the hoist drums of all the 10 Nos gates at Pranjali check dam in Kathua, unrolling of the rope of both the drums of pulleys of gates after removal of rope from the space between pulley face and bracket face with suitable tools without any damage to wire rope. Cutting extra length of rope due to elongation of wire rope so that original length is maintained. Again rolling of rope on the drums after passing it through the pulleys of gates, clamping ends of the rope in the rope drums and then again passing it through the grooves of pulleys. Lifting the rope upto superstructure and clamping the end of rope in the rope drum after rolling it on the drum . Providing and fitting of wire rope ( 6X37 galvanized fibre core wire rope) having dia 16mm and length 13 mtr approx. in place of damaged one to drum of one gate. Care should be taken to prevent jumping of rope out of the grooves of pulley, Lifting of 2 Nos stuck gates using special tools and tackles. Checking and ensuring that up and down travelling of the gates of Pranjali check dam should be smooth and trouble free. Removing of bushes , stones, silt from gate grooves of all 10 gates at Pranjali check dam Kathua,. Cleaning the gates wheels as well as gate tracks with old cloth and sand paper to remove dust and silt. Greasing the tracks of all the gates. Cleaning and lubricating the wire ropes of all gates .lifting of all the gates of check dam. Complete job includes cost of material , labour charges both skilled and unskilled, charges on account of special tool and tackles .Complete job inclusive of all taxes at site.
