Excavating in trenches not exceeding 1.5 mtr wide and exceeding 1.5 mtr depth but not exceeding 3.0m depth for laying of cable, pole, foundation etc, and getting out in hard / dense soil complete all as specified and as directed.

Excavation in trenches in hard / dense soil not exceeding 1.5 metre wide and not exceeding 1.5 metre depth for laying of cables etc, getting out and forming bottom surface to required gradient complete.

Returning, filling in, including spreading, leveling, watering and well ramming in layers not exceeding 25cm thick complete all as specified and as directed.

Removing excavated surplus soil to a distance not exceeding 50m and depositing where directed at a level not exceeding 1.5 m above the starting point all as directed.

Material and labour for sand cushioning to under ground cable providing with a layer of 8cm thick before laying the cable and 15 cm thick after laying the cable complete all as specified and as directed. NOTE :- Punned thickness only will be measured for the purpose of payment.

Material and labour for brick protection cover on cable with sub class 'B' bricks, laid dry and flat, adjacent to each other over sand cushioning complete all as specified and as directed.

Material and labour for cutting of bituminous road / floor for laying of pipe / cables including refilling, watering, well ramming / compacting and making good with PCC (1;2;4), type B-1, 450mm width and 100mm depth complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge. NOTE :- PCC shall be measured and paid separately.

Dismantling of old steel tubular pole / RCC pole of any size with necessary disconnection of electric wire, demolition of concrete foundation including excavation, earth work as required and removing the same from site complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply and fix steel tubular swaged poles complete with cast iron base plate, finial taper plug, bolts nut and screws as specified type 410 SP-31 (9.00 meters long) including cross arm with bolts, nuts and bracket for fixing the street / flood light fitting, painting with two coats of aluminium paint over a coat of red oxide primer including preparation of surfaces all as specified and as directed.

Material and labour for Plain Cement Concrete (1:2:4), type B1 using 20mm graded stone aggregate for pathways / pole coping all as specified and as directed.

Material and labour for Plain Cement Concrete (1:3:6), type C1 using 20 mm graded stone aggregate for filling around the post including necessary form work and applying three coats of white wash on exposed surfaces etc complete all as specified and as directed.

Material and labour for Plain Cement Concrete (1:4:8), type D2 using 40 mm graded stone aggregate for foundations / filling around the post all as specified and as directed.

Supply, laying, jointing and testing, XLPE insulated, armoured, heavy duty electric LT UG cable with multi stranded aluminium conductor, 1100 volts grade laid in trenches or in duct / passing through pipes or fixed to wall / poles etc cross sectional area of sizes 50 sq.mm 3.5core including taking up of unserviceable cable complete all as specified and as directed.

All as per Sl item No.13 above but of size 35 sq.mm 3.5 core.

Laying only, jointing and testing XLPE insulated, armoured heavy duty under ground electric cable with stranded aluminium conductor 1100 voltage grade any rating / capacity including complete connection with proper through cable lugs including taking out/down old existing unserviceable LT UG Cable complete all as specified and directed. NOTE :- (i) LT XLPE Cable will be issued under schedule 'B' free for fixing only. (ii) Excavation, sand cushioning and bricks shall be measured and paid separately under respective items of BOQ.

Material and labour for galvanised iron tubing light grade of size 50mm bore for protection of cables to be laid under roads, crossings / culverts,on wall / pole for cable protection complete all as specified and as directed.

Material and labour for LT underground cable straight through joint heat shrinkable of size 25 to 50 sq.mm 4 / 3.5 Core complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Material and labour for LT underground cable straight through joint heat shrinkable of size 70 to 120 sq.mm 3.5 Core complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Material and labour for painting of steel tubular LT pole 9 mtr long above the ground level with one coat of aluminium paint after cleaning the existing surface of the poles / brackets / cross arm and marking the pole numbers as per existing pattern including different colour 1.5 mtr from the bottom of pole complete all as per specified and directed.

Material and labour for painting of GI pipe 1.5 Mtr to 3 Mtr length above ground level as in post top lantern of any type / size with one coat of existing paint and cleaning the PCC area by brush and painting with three coats of white wash after minor repairs in the bottom portion complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Material and labour for repairs / replacement / maintenance of the street light fittings / high bay light fittings/ flood light fittings on pole or building / work shop (at any height) by replacing the spares as per site requirement complete all as specified and as directed. NOTE :- (i) Replacement of accessories shall be measured and paid separately under relevant items of BOQ, no extra cost will be paid to the contractor for T&P and tradesmen as required. (ii) Taking down the fitting as required for maintenance for cleaning or minor repairs such as replacement of fitting, screws, wires etc., deemed to be included in the rate quoted. (iii) Quoted rate is deemed to be included the charges of necessary scaffolding / boom lift.

Supply and fix in repairs lamp holder, PVC / Polycarbonate, pendant / batten type, 230 Volts, AC including screws, bolts, nuts and removing the old one complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply and fix in repairs Retro B 22 LED lumeno 9 Watts ball lamp complete all as specified and as directed.

Material and labour for earthing complete with galvanized steel earth plate electrode 600x600x6mm thick buried directly in ground (earth pit not less than 2.25m deep below normal ground level) with top edge of the plate not less than 1.5 Mtr below normal ground level connected to GI earth lead wire 4.0mmdia by means of nuts, bolts, check nuts and washer of GI steel and connecting to testing point including provision of test point and all as shown in electrical plate No. 3 of SSR Part I. Material and labour for cutting of shrubs, growth jungle grass, branches, weeds around street light fitting etc complete including removing and depositing waste soil, rubbish and grass to a distance not less than 50 mtr complete all as directed.

Taking down the High mast light fitting safely electrically / manually from the pole at site and cleaning the entire fitting after minor repairs, checking of all electric connections, remove the old unserviceable LED light fitting from the pole and replacement of fitting / driver (as required at site) after replacement of fitting / driver complete checking the connections, refixing the same complete all specified and as directed. NOTE :- (i) Minor repairs and spares are deemed to be included in the quoted rates. (ii) If driver replacement is necessary the same will be measured and paid separately.

Material and labour for high mast pole motor of capacity 1.5 HP, 3 phase, 415 Volts, 50 Hz by removing from high mast panel and transporting to workshop and refixing and testing after rewinding / gear box servicing / replacement of bearings / greasing of rope / insertion of flexible cable if required and necessary rewiring as per existing all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.
