REPAIR TO TARMAC/ TAXI TRACK, JOINT FILLING, PAINTING OF DISPERSAL AND DRAIN CLEANING UNDER GE (AF) MC CHANDIGARH

Demolition of cement concrete (PQC) slab of any description (unreinforced) in ground floors and paving n.exc 30 cm thickness ( below or above ground level) as in dispersal runway/taxi track without disturbing the adjacent side slabs by cutting with mechanically operated diamond cutter or any other source and removing the rubbish outside defence land complete all as specified and directed.

Material and Labour for 10 mm thick sand cushion with clean river sand duly clear of residual, organic and deleterious materials spread evenly to uniform thickness laid over DLC layer as specified and directed complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and Fix 400 micron thick HDPE sheet (Virgin Quality) water proof, wrinkle free with puncture having minimum weight 390 gm Sqm over tack coat/sand cushion as specified in the design with overlap between adjacent strips and at transverse joints as minimum 300mm complete all as specified and directed.

Material and Labour for ready mixed concrete (RMC) for pavement quality concrete (PQC) of minimun 28 days field flexural strength of 45Kg/Sqcm or 4.5 Mpa, aggregat gradation as per table 3 of IRC 15-2017, coarse aggregate of clean, hard strong , dense, non-porous and durable pieces of crushed stone or grabel, fine aggregates of clean natural sand or crushed stone sand or combination of both using minimum 360kg/cum of cement with non -circular virgin synthetic fibre of 12-18mm lenngth, specific, gravity 1.34 to 1.39, UV stable , alkali resistant, with equivalent dia 15 - 40micron, minimum meelting temperature as 240° C and minium tensile strength of 300Mpa and at the rate as specified by the manufacture. PQC laid , spread and compacted with slip-form paver of minimum 7.5m width, including curing and tining by texturing cum curing machine complete all as specified and directed.Required surface texturing to be done as specified in clause 10.1.14 and table 9 of IRC : 15-2017 and removing the rubbish outside defence land complete all as specified and directed.

Material and Labour forming 10mm wide x 27mm deep construction joints (using diamond cutter) and filling with polyurethane joint sealant compound using mechanical means to a minimum depth of 15mm (depth minimum above the back up rod) and minimum Movement accommodation Factor (MAF) + or -30% conforming to the requriement of BS 5212 and EN 141876 1003 for Hydrolysis/Water resistance test including two coats of primer and providing 12mm dia approved quality closed cell polythene back up rod applying masking taps on edge of joints to prevent residential slippage of sealant and removing the masking tape after sealant is applied as required complete all as per manufacturer recommendation specified and directed.

Material and Labour forming 8mm wide x 80mm deep dummy joints (using diamond cutter) and filling with polyurethane joint sealant compound using mechanical means to a minimum depth of 15mm (depth minimum above the back up rod) and minimum Movement accommodation Factor (MAF) + or -30% conforming to the requriement of BS 5212 and EN 141876 1003 for Hydrolysis/Water resistance test including two coats of primer and providing 10mm dia approved quality closed cell polythene back up rod incl fillar board(53mm) applying masking taps on edge of joints to prevent residential slippage of sealant and removing the masking tape after sealant is applied as required complete all as per manufacturer recommendation specified and directed.

Material and Labour for chipping/cutting of cracked/broken cement concrete, damage edges between two adjacent slabs and pot holes of taxi/runway/dispersal by cutting (square/rectangular shape) of any depth with daimond cutter or chisel, cleaning surfaces and removing of loose material & dust by blowers and disposing off rubbish outside MoD land and applying one tack coat of primer of epoxy and filling the pits/holes/joints with epoxy morter at an interval of 30 to 45 minutes incl necessary form work consisting of the following ratio/compostion complete all as specified or as per manufectures instructions (a) Epoxy resin primer:- (i) Epoxy resin(Araldite) Gy-250 :100 Part each by weight (ii) Aradur 140 :50 Part each by weight (b) Epoxy mortar:- (i) Epoxy resin(Araldite) Gy-250 :100 Part each by weight (ii) Aradur 140 :50 Part each by weight (iii) Silica sand M-12 grade :600 part each by weight (Make: STP/FOSCROC/TIKKITAR/PIDILITE) Note : (1) During repair the disturbed joints of slab shall be made good to full depth as required with sealing compound grade 'B' ISI marked without any extra cost and the cost of same shall be deemed to be included in quoted rates. (2) Contactor shall provide work in progress board and follow the rules of the airfield, nothing extra shall be paid on this account.

Raking out existing sealing compound from expansion, construction & dummy joints of width 20 to 35mm in concrete and in any existing depth by mechanical means, preparing and cleaning of sides, bottom and edges of adjoining slabs with solvent soaked cloth to remove sticked old sealing compound completely, cleaning the surface of the joints with wire brushes and finally removing and cleaning dust etc with compressed air to make it free from all foreign particles, filling with polyurethane joint sealing compound using mechanical means to a minimum depth of 10mm above the (backup rod) including one coat of primer and providing approved quality closed cell polythene backup/backup sheet of required size & shape over bituminous joint filler board in position applying masking tape on edges to prevent accidental slippage off solvent on top surface and to give a neat finish to sealant and removing the masking tape after sealant is applied as required complete all as per manufacture instructions including removal of loose & foreign materials out side MoD land complete all as specified and directed. Note : Where ever depth of joints exceeds 25mm (PU and back up rod), the additional depth shall be filled with preformed bituminous filler board without any extra cost.

All as per item No 8.00 here-in-before but 35 to 50mm, complete all as specified and directed.

Material and Labour for painting lines dashes, arrows, letters,circle etc on roads pavement/Taxi track/Runway by applying two coats of water thineable/watre(aqua) emelsion base /oil (alkyd) base paint/matt finished paint white/black/yellow/orange are any other coloures with 10cm/15 cm wide strips on bitumenous road /taxi track/runway surface by using mechanical pavment marking by machine line lazar IV-3900/IV- 5900 of M/S graco or equivalent approved incl. complete scaraping of old treatment existing paint layer and complete removal of dust partical by brushes or sweeping with brooms complete all as specified and directed. Note : Colour should be approved by GE.
