Excavation in trenches n.exc 1.5 metre wide and n.exc 1.5 metre in depth for foundation etc or for shafts, wells, cess pits, manholes, pier holes, laying cables errection of poles / struts/stays etc n.exe 10 Sqm on plan not exceeding 1.5 metre in depth and getting out in soft/loose soil complete all as specified and as directed.

Returning, filling in, including spreading, levelling, watering and well ramming in layers n.exc 25cm in any type of soil complete all as specified and as directed.

Removing of excavated material (soil) to a distance n.exc 50 metre and depositing where directed at a level n.exc 1.50metre above the starting point complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for laying of bricks subclass ‘B’ old size laid flat perpendicular to the direction of cable for protection of cable complete all as specified and as directed.

M & L Sand cushioning to PVC under ground cable with tibba sand and punning to provide a required cover complete all as specified and as directed. Note- Punned thickness of sand shall be measured and paid for sand used in cushioning to cable.

Note: The portion above coping shall be painted in alternative bands of Red & white colour starting with red colour (each band of 30 cm wide) by two coat of synthetic enameled paint upto 1.5 mtr height and numbering properly complete all as specified and as directed. S & F of 1100 volts grade heavy duty cable PVC insulated copper conductor cable three core with inner sheathing of PVC tape and overall PVC sheathed in service connection three core stranded copper conductor of size 1.5 Sqmm drawn through steel pole from junction box to street light fitting, complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply and laying in replacement GI pipe, size 40 mm dia medium grade fixed on poles, to walls and ceiling or laid in floor with all fittings for cable protection complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply and laying of GI pipe, size 80 mm dia medium grade fixed on poles, to walls and ceiling or laid in floors etc. with all fittings for cable protection complete all as specified and as directed.

Labour for boring under road/drain by manual/machine method for inserting GI tubing up to 80 mm dia for cable protection complete all as specified and as directed.

Dismantling of old existing pole of any type/size complete all as specified and as directed.

Dismantling old existing ACSR conductor of any type/size complete all as specified and as directed.

Dismantling old existing MS cross arms of any type/shape complete all as specified and as directed.

Dismantling old existing Insulators of any type/shape complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply and fixing of LT cable route indicator incl earth work /PCC work complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L earthing complete as per electrical plate No. 3 of MES SSR Part-I with galvanised steel earth plate electrode 60cmx60cmx6.0mm thick, buried directly vertically in ground in a pit depth not less than 2.25 metres below ground level with top edge of earth plate at a depth not less then 1.5 metre below normal ground level connected to and including galvanised iron or steel earth strip 25mm x 4mm by means of bolts, nuts check nuts and washers of galvanised iron or steel. Earthing strip shall be protected by galvanised iron or steel pipe 40mm bore light grade and connected to continuous earth wire on pole / test point. Watering pipe shall be 20 mm bore GI medium grade. The earthing shall be of inclusive of excavation & earth work in any type of soil, charcoal, salt, funnel PCC pit and RCC cover and testing complete all as specified and as directed. NOTE:- (i) The concrete pit shall be made in PCC 1:2:4 type B-0, using 12.50 mm graded stone aggregate 40mm thick precast cover slab of RCC (1:2:4), type B-1, using 20mm graded stone aggregate with suitable MS handle. Reinforcement in cover shall be of 8mm dia TMT bars laid @150mm c/c both ways. (ii) Quoted shall include the cost of 7.5 metre GI pipe for protection of earth wire/strip. (iii) Quoted shall include cost of 7.5 metre earth lead wire/strip. (iv) Earth electrode shall be surrounded by adequate quantity of charcoal dust and salt to a packed thickness of 15 cm on all sides
