NOTE FOR ALL PAINITNG ITEMS :- The following precautionary measures shall be ensured by the contractor during execution of work :- (i) Contractor shall deposit entire quantity of materials (proprietory materials) in sealed containers required for painting works covered under subject contract in the custody of Engineer-In-Charge/ Office in charge of unit. (ii) The materials as required shall be issued to contractor by JE/ Engineer-In-Charge on daily basis and the empty containers/ bags shall be deposited in the store of Engineer -In-Charge by the contractor, for verification as per standard consumption/ coverage prescribed by the manufacturers. (iii) Before applying cement base paint/weather proof acrylic emulsion paint contractor shall use the wire brush for the removal of loose paint, dust, algae, moss and filling of crack using crack sealent and cleaning of surface by spray jet. (iv) Application of cement base paint strictly done by spray/mechanical spray machine only, otherwise 30% cost shall be reecovered from the respective item. (v) After completion of painting work contractor shall remove and clean all the droplets/stain of paint left on the floor, glasses and joinery.

M&L Preparation of plastered or unplastered old decorated surfaces of walls including brooming down or scraping down with steel wire brushes of smoke spots, moulds, moss, efflocerent salts, treading oil and greasy spots and applying one coat of white (lime) wash complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for Machine cut mirror polished Kota stone slab flooring 20-25mm thick over 15 mm thick cement screed base in CM (1:6), laid and jointed with grey cement slurry mixed with pigment to match the shade of the slab including round nosing at corners, providing lines at edge of corners rubbing and mirror polishing complete as specified and as directed.

M&L for Machine cut mirror polished Kota stone slab 20-25mm thick as in riser of steps, skirting, dado and pillars laid over 10mm thick cement screed base in CM(1:4) laid and jointed with grey cement slurry mixed with pigment to match the shade of the slab including round nosing at corners, rubbing and mirror polishing complete as specified and as directed.

M&L for Providing sunken floor treatment as per following details complete all as specified and directed:- (a) Special treatment to toilet floor by demolition of existing treatment of any description and thickness, removal of rubbish to a distance of 5KM to 7.5KM. (b) Clean the sunken portion of toilet / Bath / WC / Kitchen thorughly to remove laitance, dirt dust, etc. (c) Form angle fillet of size 40mm x 40mm along the junction of wall and floor using polymer modified mortar ("Dr Fixit" Pidicrete URP" or equivalent as given in PS. (d) Sanitary pipes entering through walls and floor shall be sealed with "Dr Fixit Bathseal Tape"or equivalent as given in PS and the gaps to be grouted with non-shrink cementitous grout "Dr Fixit Bathseal Grout" or equivalent as given in PS. Nahani Traps, etc to be fitted securely and the gaps around it to be grouted in the same manner. (e) Apply one coat of a Bitumen-modified polymer coating "Dr Fixit Bathseal Plus" or equivalent as given in PS on all angle fillets by brush.

M&L for Plain Cement Concrete (1:5:10), type E-2 using 40 mm graded stone aggregate as in foundation filling and mass concrete as in sub base of floors complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for Removing old tar felt, all loose dirt, old roof tiles, including taking down cement plaster cleaning the concrete roof surface including removal and cleaning of vegetation, fungus, moss, small trees etc from the roof top including cleaning with wire brush, complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for Rendering 15mm thick on existing concrete surfaces of roof in CM (1:4) mixed with water proofing compound @ 3% by weight of cement finishing even and smooth without using extra cement for water proofing treatment over RCC slab by applying oil bound bitumen primer @ 0.25 kg/Sqm and providing and laying 3 mm thick APP modified water proofing memberane weighing not less than 3.00 kg/sqm, reinforced with non woven polyester reinforcement matt weighing not less than 160 gm/Sqm polyester core, having soften point not less than 150oC, longitudinal tensile strength not less than 650 N/ 5 cm, tearing strength of 180 N / 5 cm, torch application, with a overlap of 100mm at the sides and 150mm at the ends, sealing and applying two coats of solar reflective aluminium paint @ 0.11 kg/sqm on membrane surfaces complete including carrying out 24 hrs ponding test over the complete treatment all as specified and as directed. NOTE:- rate for WPC deemed to be included in the quoted rate.

M&L for PVC interlocking wall panelling 5mm to 7mm thick of surface finish with natural wooden finish (in minimum size 1200mm hight x 300mm wide). Panel is to be fixed on framework with screws as in horizontal or vertical alignment to walls at every 750mm with centre & edge bracket in tongue & groove system on framework. if required the cavity of framework should be inserted with rock wool with 48 kg and 50mm density, along with all accessories including required flashing, U shape groove complete make and sample as approved all as specified and directed.
