MANNING AND OERATION OF MAIN POWER HOUSE AND REPAIR MAINT SERVICING OF STANDBY DG SETS AT AF STATION BARNALA UNDER GE AF HALWARA

Outsourcing and Manning & operation of services for operation and maintaince HT 11 KV receiving station installation at AF Barnala including its day to day maintaince round the clock in three shifts (Each shift of 08 Hrs) including Sundays and holidays by emplying technically qualified team/resources to be operated by one electrician and one helper per shift for entire system comprising the following & maintaing daily log sheets and shutt down register complete all as specified and directed. Shift timings opeated are as follows:- . (a) HT 11 KV VCB :- 12 Nos(incoming) . (b) HT 11 KV VCB :- 07 Nos(Outgoing). (c) LT Control panel Board :- 01 No (d ) HT/LT net work in the AF Barnala .

Rates quoted for outsourcing the services as described in Srl No 1.00 here-in-before and shall includes the following :- (i) Worker's wage per person for skilled(electrician) = Rs. 593.00 Per day. (ii) Worker's wage per person for un skilled(Helper) = Rs. 420.00 Per day (iii) Employees state insurance @3.25% on wages as per existing rules. (iv) EPF, EPS, EDLIS and administrative charges @ 13% on wages as per exisiting rules. (v) Bonus if applicable as per existing rules. (vi) Contractor's over head and profit. (vii) LWC @ 1% on (i) to (vi) above as per existing rules. (viii) GST@ 18% on (i) to (vii) above as per existing rules.

NOTES for item No 1.00 here-in-before :- (i) The rate quoted shall not be less than minimum wages as notified by Government of India / State Government / Local body whichever is higher including all statutory provisions such as EPF, ESIC, Bonus, taxes etc as applicable.If a firm quotes Nil Charges against over head and profit charges his bid will not be considered for acceptance. (ii) The Firm's claims in bills regarding ESI, EPF, Service Tax should be accompanied by documentary proof pertaining to the previous month's bill. A requisite portion of the bill i.e RAR / Final bill amount shall be held up till such proof is furnished at the discretion of the GE. (iii) The firm shall submit proof of payment given to workers and endorse a copy to Engineer-in-Charge, showing the details of payments, deductions (including all statutory deductions) & net amount with requisite challans in each case / person indicating PF number,ESI card details etc. (iv) Engieer-in-charge will maintain the record of attendence in respect of the persons seployed by the Firm on the basis of which wages/ remuneration will be decided in respect of the persond and the approved & agreed rates. The firm responsible to keep all records payment, attendence, leaves etc. dully signed by Engineer_in-Charge and endors copy of all the documents with RAR/ Final bill as applicable. (v) The contractor shall employee one skilled(Electciasn) (ITI qualified in any trade) and one unskilled (Matric Pass) attendent for each shift. (vi) The contractor shall prepare duty roster well in advance and got it approved by Engineer-in-Charge and one copy of the roster shall be displayed in the notice board. (vii) The tradesman shall be well qualified in respective trade and shall wear approved uniforms as directed by Engineer-in-Charge. (viii) The stationery required to maintain log sheets, attendance registers, log book and other registers as required shall be procured by the contractor as directed by Engineer-in-Charge. (ix) The tenderer shall have full knowledge for group of buildings/complex to be attended under respective item of Sch 'A'. (x) Contractor is required to quote upto two digits after decimal place or otherwise it will be considered by rounding off to two digits after decimal place. (xi) Workers employed during previous contract for the same work shall not be employed again for this work. (xii) Also refer Sch 'A' Notes given in tender documents.

(xiii) EPF-not applicable (for wages more than Rs 15000.00 per month as per existing rules) .(xiv) Overhead charges and contractor's profit is deemed to be included in the shift rates quoted and nothing extra shall be adimssible on this account. (xv) In case two or more firms quote the same rates, the preference will be given to the firm based on the past records and factors like Class of contractor, financial soundness, Performance achieved and work experience for last two years etc. (xvi) If during currency of work any rate of skilled worker and unskilled increases then contractor has to paid increase rates to the workers and his quoted rate is inclusive for the same. Nothind extra is admissable on this account.

(xxiv)Contractor shall not engage child labour in the work. (xxv) Contractor shall not engage child labour in the work. (xxvi) Contractor shall provide uniform with name plate as approved by GE/Engineer In Charge to the workers. (xxvii)Worker to be provided with basic phone (without cameras) for obtaining necessary direction from the JE/Engineer in charge (xxviii)Each worker shall be submitted affidavit in stamp paper duly notary attested that he will not claim employment from Department. (xxix)Contractor shall submitt accident/risk insurance policy of each worker engaged to electrical work at Main Power House. (xxx) The T & P such as hand gloves, torch fitted helmet(night working) ladders, stool/bench and other necessary tools shall be provided by the Contractor. (xxxi)No worker to be engaged in continuous shifts operations .

M & L for servicing of DG set of 63 KVA capacity including replacement of fuel power oil filter as per existing complete all as per directed by Engineer In charge.

M & L in replacemt of Engine Oil, complete all as specified and directed.

M & L in replacemt of Coolent for DG Sets complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for servicing including testing of self starter 12/24 Volts including replacement of armature, gun metal bush ,solendoid switch ,bentex clutch plate ,push button including refixing , testing and commissioning complete all as specified and directed by Engineer In charge..

M & L for opening/taking down the complete radiator Assembly and descaling the complete radiator with HCL Acid (Hydraulic Acid) and wahing,testing of water leakage if any and repair the same and refixing the complete radiator Assembly of DG set capacity 63 KVA complete all as specified and directed by Engineer In charge..

M & L for servicing overhauling to complete alternator of 63 KVA assembly , cleaning ,varnishing of rotor ,starter assembly and including replacement of ball bearing front and rear with greasing and testing all as specified and directed.

S & F in replacement battery lead of copper conductor 1.5 Mtr long with battery terminal and lugs. Complete all as specified.

S & F replacement battery12 V, 180 AH, 25 plates including testing for its proper functioning .complete all as specified and directd by Engineer in charge Make :- Exide/Amron

S & F in replacement fan belt for DG set of capacity 63 KVA Complete all as specified and directd by Engineer in charge

S & F replacement of complete dynamo bearing of suitable size for 63 KVA DG Set complete all as specified and directed by Engineer in charge

M & L servicing calliberation and testing of injector assembly including replacement of worn out parts ,barrel ,plunger ,nozzle ,delivery valve cup injector and commissioning the same 63 KVA DG Set complete all as specified and directd by Engineer in charge

S & F in replacement of AVR card suitable for 63 KVA DG Set as per existing suitable for Make :- Kirlosker Complete all as specified and directd by Engineer in charge

M & L for painting of DG set of all exposed metal surfaces of equipments and component with appropriate colour , the base plate and top is painted with OXFORD BLUE/PEPSI BLUE, the canopy is power coated with IVORY Colour as per exisiting complete all as specified and directed by Enginner in Charge.

M & L for repair to fuel injecting pump (FIP) of 75 KVA to 100 KVA DG sets Make :- Kirlosker/Mohindera including supply and replacement of element delivery valve ,nozzle, delivery valve pin with bearing, deliver ball spring etc and including calliberation of pump and injector presure setting, fitting and testing complete all as specified and directed by Enginner in Charge.

M & L for refixing DG Sets canopy by replacement of hinges as per existing

Disconnecting and taking out of DG set 63 KVA Make :- kirlosker No of Cylinder :- 06 including disconnecting all electrical connections and transporation to work shop and back after carry out necessary repair and replacement of worn out defective parts including preventive maintaince of connected assemblies. Reassembling the same after repairs including testing and commissioning at site complete. including replacement of the following spare parts .(Note :- cost of spare parts to be replaced will be masured and paid seperatly under item Nos 22 to 31 here in after under respecive items but cost of replacement shall be deemed to be included in this item.)
