Maintenance of horticulture work and nursery including propagation of plants at NFC-Kota Plant, Rawatbhata.

Complete maintenance of the entire garden features in the garden area i.e. lawn trees, shrubs, herbs, edge, flower beds, foliages, creepers etc. including hoeing, pruning, replacement of plants, gap filling, regular watering, removal of weeds from root level, mowing of lawn, clipping of hedges, grass cutting by petrol operated lawn mower and brush cutter, removal of garden waste, applying insecticide, pesticide & fertilizers (whenever required), top dressing of lawn with good earth and manure and maintenance of other garden related works, maintenance of trees, plantation of trees, shrubs, hedge, ground covers and seasonal plants at site etc. as directed by Engineer-in-charge. Note: 1) Fertilizer, insecticide, fungicide will be provided by department. 2) Supply of Good earth, farm yard manure, vermicompost, coir pith, pesticide, herbicide will be paid under relevant item. 3) Approximately 10000 sqm area to be maintained per day. Hence, 10000 sqm x 288 days = 2880000 sqm area to be maintained in a year. 4) Minimum 10 no of malis and one supervisor shall be deployed for the work each day as mentioned in NIT.

Maintenance of Potted Plants at Nursery including resetting/ displaying inculding watering, weeding, hoeing, colouring, reporting of the damaged pots and disposal of generated garbage at specified place as per direction of Engineer-in-charge. Note:-1) Fertilizer, insecticide, fungicide will be provided by the department. 2) Supply of Good earth, farm yard manure, vermicompost, coirpith, pesticide, herbicide will be paid under relevant item. 3) Approximately 4000 potted plants to be mainatained per day. Hence, 4000 pots x 288 days = 11,52,000 pots to be maintained in a year. 4) Minimum 02 no of malis shall be deployed for the work each day as mentioned in NIT.

Supplying and stacking at site of decomposed farm yard manure, free from rubbish and vegetation etc., including royalty and carriage complete as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Note: Manure measured in stacks will be reduced by 8% for voids for the purpose of payment.

Supplying of winter/summer/rainy seasonal flowers seedling/cutting at site of work, well developed and healthy free from disease in tray/polybags as per direction of the officer-in-charge. Note: The list of seedlings include winter seedlings like Calendula, Crysanthemum, Cosmos, Dianthus, Gazania, Marigold, Petunia, Salvia, Verbena etc., and summer & rainy season seedlings like Balsom, celosia ,cosmos, Gompherna, Sunflower dwarf,Vinca rosea and Zinnia hybrid etc., or any other similar equivalent as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Supplying and stacking of good earth from outside suitable for horticulture and landscaping work at site including royalty and carriage for all leads complete (earth measured in stacks will be reduced by 20% for payment).

Earth work in excavation by mechanical means (Hydraulic excavator)/ manual means for over areas, foundations, trenches, drains, tree/shrubs/Hedge plantation etc. in Soil/Soft rock/Boulders/Filled Up material for all depths including dewatering if necessary, dressing of sides and ramming of bottoms, including getting out the excavated soil and disposal of surplus excavated soils as directed, within a distance of 500 m etc.,including clearing of all areas of all grass, rank vegetation, shrubs, bushes, trees upto 300mm girth measured 1.00 metre above ground level etc complete as directed by Engineer-incharge.
