Part I : Improvement of the Road from Reddykuppam to Eravadi Road Km 0/0 - 0/8 R-293

Clearing and grubbing road land including uprooting wild vegetation, grass, bushes, scrubs, saplings and trees of girths upto 300mm, removal of stumps of such trees cut earlie and disposal of unserviceable material 1 and stacking of serviceable materials to be used or auctioned, upto a lead of 1000m including removal and disposal of top organic soil not exceeding 150mm thickness as per technical specification clause 201. etc. comp.

Picking old metalled / BT surface upto 10cm thick as directed by the 2 departmental officers

Earth work excavation in all classes of soils except hard rock requiring blasting depositing on bank with initial lead of 10M and lift of 2M including all labour charges and incidental charges such as shoring, strutting, providing coffer dams, bailing out of water and other item which may be 3 necessary or convenient to the succesful completion of the excavation in a compacted condition a quality of materials not exceeding the amount of excavation including all machinery charges for T&P employed etc., complete for cutting side drains and forming berms as per standard specifications.

Providing and laying including cost and conveyance of gravel from approved sources to work site including labour for spreading, watering and compacting by power roller to achieve the required Proctor density at 4 100% compaction at Optimum moisture content and hire fuel charges for powerroller, watersprinkler and all other incidental charges such as traffic barricading and providing dangerlights etc. comp for base-course and side berms

Providing and laying spreading and compacting graded stone aggregate to Wet Mix Macadam (WMM) 250 mm thick, including premixing the material with water at OMC in machanical mix plant carriage of mixed material by tipper to site laying in uniform layers 250mm thick with pavers in SubBase/Base course on well prepared surface and compacting with vibratory Soil Compactor to achieve the desired density including cost of material, labour charges, rentals for machinery, fuel and all other incidental charges etc., complete as pwe clause 406 of MORTH Rev-5

Applying Prime coat over Un primed WMM surface at 7Kg/10 sq.m area including cost of bituminous binder at the site including labour charges for preparing the surface and applying the required quantity of bituminous binder as tack coat including hire charges and fuel charges for bitumen boiler and all other tools and plants employed etc., complete as per clause 503 of MOST specification.

Applying Tack coat over Primed WMM surface at 2.50 Kg / 10 sq.m including cost of bituminous binder at the site including labour charges for preparing the surface and applying the required quantity of bituminous binder as tack coat including hire charges and fuel charges for bitumen boiler and all other tools and plants employed etc., complete as per clause 503 of MOST specification.

Providing and laying Bituminous Concrete to 25/30/40mm thick using 0.13 cum of 19.00-9.50mm, 0.17 cum of 9.50-2.36mm and 0.26 cum of 2.36 and below with 50.30kgs of VG30 bitumen for premixing per 10sqm including cost and conveyance of all materials to CMP site, heating the bitumen and aggregate to required temperature and mixing them in required temperature in central hot mix plant 20-30 ton capacity, conveying the mix by tipper trucks to paver site, spreading the 9 mix to uniform thickness of 40mm with mechanical paver to the specified grades and cross sections and consolidated by 8-10 tonne Vibratory to the required density etc., including labour for attending to paver to site etc., including hire charges and fuel charges for 20-30 t CMP with bitumen boiler, tipper trucks, Paver Finisher, Vibratory roller and all other tools and plant required, including fuel and all other incidental charges etc., complete as per specification using CMP as per clause 507 of MORTH Rev-5.

Supplying and erecting centring for sides and suffits including supports and structing upto 3.29m height for plane surface in all cross bracting using MS sheets of size 90 x 60cm and 3 10kg stiffened with angle of size 25 x 25 x 3mm for boarding laid over silver oak joists os size 10 x 6.5mm at about 90cm C/C and supported by casuring props of 10cm 13cm dia at C/C etc., complete

Construction of un-reinforced, dowel jointed at expansion and construction joint only, plain cement concrete pavement, thickness as per design, over a prepared sub base, with 43 grade cement or any other type as per Clause 1501.2.2 M35 (Grade), coarse and fine aggregates conforming to IS:383, maximum size of coarse aggregate not exceeding 25 mm, mixed in a concrete mixer of not less than 0.2 cum capacity and appropriate weigh batcher using approved mix design, laid in approved fixed side formwork (steel channel, laying and fixing of 125 micron thick polythene film, wedges, steel plates including levelling the formwork as per drawing), spreading the concrete with shovels, rakes, compacted using needle, screed and plate vibrators and finished in continuous operation including provision of contraction and expansion, construction joints, applying debonding strips, primer, sealant, dowel bars, near approaches to bridge/culvert and construction joints, admixtures as approved, curing of concrete slabs for 14-days,using curing compound (where specified ) and water finishing to lines and grade as per drawing and Technical Specification Clause 1501

Cement concrete 1:1.5:3 using 20mm ISS HBG metal for all RCC item of works excluding cost of Rein forcement and fabricating charges, centering and shuttering but including curing and shall be finished smooth with cement mortar 1:3, 12mm thick. and with kraft paper without claiming extra as directed by the departmental officers complete complying with standard specifications.

Supplying and erecting centering shuttering including necessary supports for plane surface in foundation and superstructure for Abutment /pier using mild steel sheets of size 90 x 60 cm and 10 guage stiffened, welded with mild steel angles of size 25mmx25mmx3mm for boarding laid over silver oak (country wood) scantlings of size 10cm x 6.5cm spaced of about 90cm centre to centre and supported by casurina props of 10cm to 13cm dia spaced at 75cm centre to centre complete complying with standard specifications and as directed by departmental officers etc.
