REPAIR/ REPLACEMENT OF GI/MS PIPE LINES OF VARIOUS SIZES, SLUICE VALVE, VALVE PITS AND OTHER MISC WORK FOR SPRING AREA AT DAGSHAI UNDER GE KASAULI

Schedule 'A' Section - I

Excavation in trenches in hard dense soil n.exc 1.5 mtr wide & n.exc 1.5mtr in depth and n. exc. 10sqm on plan for laying pipe in trenches and getting out complete all as specified and directed.

Returning filling in trenches, spreading, levelling, watering and well ramming in layers n.exc 25cm in hard dense soil complete all as specified and directed.

Removing of surplus soil to a distance n.exc 50 mtr and depositing where directed at a level n.exc 1.5 mtr above starting point complete all as specified and directed.

Dismantling and taking out old u/s worn out MS/CI/GI pipe line flanged type 150 mm bore including fittings complete with nuts, bolts, washers and gaskets etc and removing from the site complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge. Note:- New pipes shall be laid first at spring area and old ones to be taken out later.

Supplying, laying, jointing and testing hot finished seamless carbon steel pipe not less than YST-240, grade B as per ASTM A 106, Sch 40, nominal size NPS-150 mm, outer dia 164.22 mm, with nominal wall thickness 7.11 mm and weight 28.26 Kg/ mtr, including short pieces as required at site, laid in trenches/over RCC pillars/across or under bridges/along hill side (up or down)/culverts/inside valve pits complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-charge. NOTE:- (i) Excavation Earth work, PCC, seamless pipe fittings, MS flanges & flanged joints shall be measured and paid for separately under relevant items. (ii) Work will be carried out in piecemeal locations experienced based on break downs and weaker sections of existing rising main as per site requirement and as directed by Engineer-in-charge. (iii) Any other expenses for obtaining permision from state authorities for road cutting job are included under this item.

M&L for MS Flange of ASA-150 standard suitable for 150mm dia bore seamless pipe comprising of inner dia 170.70 mm, outer dia 279.4 mm and thickness 25.40 mm, flange having 8 holes drilled to accomodate bolts of size not less than 22.2mm dia, PCS 241.3 complete for jointing with the existing pipes, duly welded with pipes/fittings bends properly to both the plain ends complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and fixing of joint for 150 mm nominal bore pipes, comprising one 5.0 mm thick steel-reinforced compressed asbestos fibre gasket, including 8 Nos M38 nuts and bolts (each bolt not less than 25 mm in diameter and 125 mm in length), and 2 Nos. 5 mm thick washers per joint, suitable for pipes/fittings/bends, complete all as specified and directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.

Supplying, laying, jointing and testing hot finished seamless carbon steel pipe not less than YST-240, grade B as per ASTM A 106, Sch 40, nominal size NPS-100 mm, outer dia 114.30 mm, with nominal wall thickness 6.02 mm and weight 16.08 Kg/ mtr, including short pieces as required at site, laid in trenches/over RCC pillars/across or under bridges/along hill side (up or down)/culverts/inside valve pits complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-charge. NOTE:- (i) Excavation Earth work, PCC, seamless pipe fittings, MS flanges & flanged joints shall be measured and paid for separatly under relevant items. (ii) Work will be carried out in piecemeal locations experienced based on break downs and weaker sections of existing rising main as per site requirement and as directed by Engineer-in-charge. (iii) Any other expenses for obtaining permision from state authorities for road cutting jobs are included under this item.

Supply and fixing, MS flange of ASA-100 standard suitable for 100 mm bore seamless pipes, comprising of size internal dia 116.10 mm, outer dia 228.6 mm and 23.80 mm thick flange having 8 holes drilled to accomodate bolts of size not less than 19.00mm dia, PCS 190.5 complete for jointing with the existing pipes, duly welded with pipes/fittings bends properly to both the plain ends complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and fixing of joint for 100 mm nominal bore pipes, comprising one 5.0 mm thick steel-reinforced compressed asbestos fibre gasket, including 8 Nos M38 nuts and bolts (each bolt not less than 25 mm in diameter and 125 mm in length), and 2 Nos. 5 mm thick washers per joint, suitable for pipes/fittings/bends, complete all as specified and directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.

Supply and fixing in replacement of Air release valve of size 150mm, DI Single Chamber, Tripple Action with SS floating And working parts & Fb Epoxy coating in PN1.6 confoming to IS 14845 incl 8 Nos holes,19.05mm dia ,100mm long Nut ,bolts, 2 nos washer incl 3 mm thick gasket suitable for pipeline of required size and shape complete for jointing with the existing pipes, duly welded with pipes/fittings bends properly to both the plain ends complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and fixing in replacement of Air release valve of size 100mm -ditto- here-in-after all as per Ser item No.12.00 above complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and fixing in replacement of Air release valve of size 80mm -ditto- here-in-after all as per Ser item No.12.00 above complete all as specified and directed.

Supplying, laying, jointing and testing in replacement Tees of 150mm dia, of suitable length and as per site requirement, made of hot finished seamless carbon steel pipe not less than YST-240, grade B as per ASTM A 106, Sch 40, nominal size NPS-150 mm, outer dia 164.22 mm, with nominal wall thickness 7.1 mm and weight 28.2 Kg/ Rm, including short pieces with flanged ends duly fabricated as required at site, laid in trenches/over RCC pillars/across or under bridges/along hill side (up or down)/culverts/inside valve pits complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-charge.

Supplying, laying, jointing and testing in replacement Tees of 100mm dia, of suitable length and as per site requirement, made of hot finished seamless carbon steel pipe not less than YST-240, grade B as per ASTM A 106, Sch 40, nominal size NPS-100 mm, outer dia 112.04 mm, with nominal wall thickness 6.02 mm and weight 16.08 Kg/ mtr, including short pieces with flanged ends duly fabricated as required at site, laid in trenches/over RCC pillars/across or under bridges/along hill side (up or down)/culverts/inside valve pits complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-charge.

Supplying, laying, jointing and testing in replacement, Bends of 150mm dia -ditto- here-in-after all as per ser item No.15.00 above complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-charge.

Supplying, laying, jointing and testing in replacement, Bends of 100mm dia -ditto- here-in-after all as per ser item No.16.00 above complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-charge.

Supply And Fixing in replacement and testing of high pressure, heavy duty type cast steel Non Return valve/ check valve, nominal size 150mm, PN 25 conforming to BS 1868, classs 600, Suitable to hydrostatic test pressure for body 156 KG /sq cm & for seat 115kg/cm, both ends flanged in existing line, after removal of old unservicable gate valve without damaging to exting pipe line complete all as specified and diected by Engr-in-charge. NOTE:- Suitable size MS Flange for existing pipe line, joints and joining materials shall be including under this item.

Supply and Fixing in replacement and testing of high pressure, heavy duty cast steel sluice valve, nominal size 150mm, conforming to API 600, classs 600, Suitable to hydrostatic test pressure for body 156 KG /sq cm & for seat 115kg/cm, both ends flanged in existing line, after removal of old unservicable gate valve without damaging to exting pipe line complete all as specified and diected by Engr-in-charge. NOTE:- Suitable size MS Flange for existing pipe line, joints and joining materials shall be including under this item.

M & L for Cutting down leaking piece of pipe 150 mm. Cut down the rusted & leaking portion , providing:- (i) new piece of MS Pipe of 150 mm upto 0.50 metre long. (ii) New union socket 150 mm - 1 Nos. (iii) Jointing the new pipe with existing old pipe by means of welding to make it leakproof including testing on completion complete all as specified and directed. Note:- Unit rate quoted shall be included for (a) Necessary excavation/earth work (b) New MS pipe 150 mm upto 0.50 metre length (c) union & socket 150mm - 1 Nos each. (d) welding etc complete including testing on complete.

Supply and Fixing in replacement of sulice valve PN1.6 Epoxy coated with ssp & HW size 100mm incl 8 Nos 19.05mm dia ,100mm long Nut ,bolts, 2 nos washer incl 3 mm thick gasket of required size and shape complete for jointing with the existing pipes, duly welded with pipes/fittings bends properly to both the plain ends complete all as specified and directed.

Construction of brick masonary pit of size 160x120x120 Cm internal size with MS Sheet 3MM Thick and angle iron frame of size 40x40x6mm duly painted with 2 coats of synthetic enamel paint over a coat of red oxide primer including locking arrangement with lock with 3 keys, lifting handle and includng excavation / earth work, PCC in foundation, brick work , plaster including demolaton of existing pit complete all as specified and directed by Engr- in-Charge.

Construction of brick masonary pit of size 120x90x90 Cm internal size with MS Sheet 3MM Thick and angle iron frame of size 40x40x6mm duly painted with 2 coats of synthetic enamel paint over a coat of red oxide primer including locking arrangement with lock with 3 keys, lifting handle and includng excavation / earth work, PCC in foundation, brick work , plaster including demoliton of existing pit complete all as specified and directed by Engr- in-Charge.

M & L for PCC (1:3:6) type C2 using 40mm graded stone aggregate for anchorage blocks for pipe line/making good the cut portion of roads/paths/hard standings etc including necessary from work where required , to support the pipe line complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Labour only for removing meter for testing, etc., by unscrewing unions, fitting unions with screw plugs, or inserting short length or tubing screwed both ends so as to maintain supply and Replacing meter (old or new), taking out plugs or temporary connections and reconnecting meter and unions for pipes of dia 15mm bore complete all as specified and directed .

Ditto - all as per ser item No. 29.00 above here-in-before but for pipes of dia 20mm bore complete all as specified and directed .

Labour only for replacing meter with flanged joints, including removal of flanged connecting piece, or blank flange (if required) or taking out meter for testing, etc., and fixing (but not supplying) a length of flanged connecting pipe (or two blank flanges) and labour only for two flanged joints for MS pipes of dia 150mm dia bore complete all as specified and directed.

Ditto - all as per ser item No. 33.00 above here-in-before but for MS pipes of dia 100mm bore complete all as specified and directed .

Amount of credit of Rs. 183485.00 for retrived old material as mentioned in Schedule 'A' section-II of tender document in pdf form, will be deducted offline while acceptence of tender.
