SR to Civil Special Repair Works at Chennai Airport Chennai during the year 2024 25 SH Painting the Structural Steel Members of Column Roof truss in T1 and T4 Terminals

Applying on steel structural elements including roof trusses up to a height of 30mtrs (approx.).with 90 micron DFT epoxy coating applied by brush with a VOC of less than 250 gm/ltr as per GRIHA clause 12.1.4 with volume of solids of minimum 80% of approved brand and manufacture or equivalent as base coat over the touch up coat with epoxy coating wherever necessary and with final finish coat of polyurethane paint 60 micron DFT shall be a low VOC (less than 250 gm/ltr)as per GRIHA clause 12.1.4 with volume of solids 75% including preparation of surface ,cleaning of the structural steel member thoroughly with suitable detergent/puffing ,collecting and all loose particle ,rust ,dirt, scales, smokes splices, mortar/bird oppings,collecting and disposing the particle generated during the process with least pollution including all scaffolding using appropriate safe and stable access system based on providing safety measures all as per manufacture's recommendations and as per the direction of Engineer-in-Charge.

Applying on steel structural elements including roof trusses up to a height of 30mtrs (approx.).with finish coat of polyurethane paint 60 micron DFT shall be a low VOC (less than 250 gm/ltr) as per GRIHA clause 12.1.4 with volume of solids 75% including preparation of surface ,cleaning of the structural steel member thoroughly with suitable detergent/puffing ,collecting and all loose particle ,rust ,dirt,scales,smokes splices, mortar/bird droppings, collecting and disposing the particle generated during the process with least pollution including all scaffolding using appropriate safe and stable access system based on providing safety measures all as per manufacture's recommendations and as per the direction of Engineer-in-Charge.

Provision of anti-bird net/safety net of 2.5mm thick and 30mm gap of Garwar technical fibres or equivalent on the roof truss in the junction of roof and glass façade in order to prevent the pigeon menace inside the terminal building, with the help of boom lift of required height to access the heights as per the requirements and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge. (The rate includes the cost of net, labour required for tying and including the cost of boom lift). The threads of net should be of Nylon material.

Removing and Refixing of anti-bird net on the roof truss in the junction of roof and glass façade in order to prevent the pigeon menace inside the terminal building, with the help of boom lift of required height to access the heights as per the requirements and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.(The rate inclusive of labour required for tying and cleaning the same, including the cost of boom lift).
