Rathian Head gates-I (5'6"x2'9") :- Repair to gate by way of extracting the gate outside the frame using long boom crane, manual labour after dismantling spindle/stem rod and outer assembly of the gate. Shifting of the gate and winch mechanism to workshop for repairs using manual labour and carriage vehicle. Providing and fabrication of new stem rod with outer square threads as per the size. Fabrication of new stem rod nut with internal threading of same pitch as stem rod and supports to be fitted in outer body of the winch machine. Repairs to the connecting mechanism by providing and replacement of new studs. Repairs to the leaf of the gate by straightening on heavy duty hydraulic press, welding at worn out portions of the skin plate with quality MS electrodes. Servicing of the winch machine by removing the old grease and washing / cleaning with kerosene oil or any other solvent to make it dust free and then greasing & oiling using ISI mark standard quality grease for smooth, easy up and down moment of gate. Removal of old paint by sand paper and painting of both winch machine and gate with one coat of metal primer and two coats of paint. Shifting back repaired gate and witch machine to site of installation. Reinstallation of the repaired gate at site and checking the up and down moment. The job includes cost of material, changes for skilled manual labour, charges of crane, hire charges of tools and tackles required for the job including labour charges.
