Lowering down of the submersible pump set after repair of any description and any capacity & in any position, in bore well along with column pipe 80/50mm Dia and submersible cable of any size and steel wire rope (approximately 40 mtr depth of pump set from GL) complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge including making necessary electric connections & testing the pump set after lowering. NOTE: 1. Contractor shall take proper precautions while lowering pump set in bore well so as to avoid any damage to column pipe and submersible cable. All necessary T&P and equipment's required for lifting out pump set etc shall be arranged by the contractor at his own cost. 2. Rates quoted by the contractor for the above item includes the cost of assembling & connecting pump set to column pipes & assembling, jointing and fixing column pipes/pump sets/submersible cable and making necessary connections and including reconnecting water supply system. The required materials like column pipes submersible cable shall be measured and paid for separately under appropriate item of Schedule `A'.
Rewinding of submersible electric motors with existing size PVC insulated, copper winding wire including cleaning the slots with carbon- tetra-chloride solution before rewinding, transportation to site, fixing / lowering in position & testing on full load etc complete all as specified and directed :- Note: (i) Taking out of repairing motor/pump shall be included in srl item No. 1 & 12 above . (ii) Only one time payment will be considered in complete contract period for submersible motor winding in case of submersible motor and pump are off loads/ burnt during contract period.

Material & labour for water proof joint of submersible cable 3 core of any size using fine rubber and M Seal etc all as directed by Engineer -in-Charge. Note:- 1. Taking out of cable shall be included in srl item No. 1 & 12.
Material and labour for cast iron/ductile iron specials/fittings such as bend, tee, socket, collar Reducer, Tail Pieces etc. suitable for spigot and socketed/ flanged end pipe of above150mm bore pipe complete all as specified and directed. Note:- 1. Taking out and lowering of pipe shall be included in srl item No. 1 & 12.
Dismantling and strip opening of submersible pump & motor of any description and in any position for servicing /overhauling, cleaning, oiling/greasing, fixing of serviceable parts in position, removing & replacement of defective / unserviceable parts with new parts, reassembling the Pump & motor, ensuring proper alignment of pump and motor, fixing in position, connecting to existing system and testing at site on full load to the entire satisfaction of the Engineer-in-Charge for the following capacities pumps & motors :- Note: - (i) The replacement of defective / nonfunctional parts shall be measured & paid for separately as “Supply only” under appropriate item of Sch ‘A’ and fixing rate for new items are deemed to include under these item. (ii) Burnt out windings of motor shall be replaced, measured and paid for separately under appropriate item of Sch ‘A’ for rewinding. (iii) The rates for above items are deemed to include transportation to & fro of pumps/ motors to workshop as approved by Engineer-in-charge for necessary repairs, alignment and testing of pump and motors at workshop. (b) Re-metalling to Pump shaft, polishing and grinding and making standard size to matching with Gun Metal Bush / Neck-ring shall be measured and paid for separately under appropriate item of Sch ‘A’ (iv) Lifting of pump and motor from bore well and lowering of pump and motor after repairs shall be measured and paid separately under appropriate item of Schedule `A'.
