Taking out old unserviceable strip/wire any type from wall/roof complete all as specified and directed

Supply and fix aluminium strip of size 25x3.15 mm for Earth continuity conductor or main earthing lead fixed to wall/ roof with saddles and fixing screws etc. for roof conductors and down conductors above ground or any other indicated situation complete all as specified and directed. Note:- Two lengths of strips shall be jointed together by overlapping not less than 100 mm both ends through welding/brazing.

Supply and fix copper strip of size 20x3.15 mm for Earth continuity conductor or main earthing lead fixed wall/ roof with saddles and fixing screws etc. for roof conductors and down conductors above ground or any other indicated situation complete all as specified and directed. Note:- Two lengths of strips shall be jointed together by overlapping not less than 100 mm both ends through welding/brazing.

Supply and fix GI strip of size 32x6 mm for Earth continuity conductor or main earthing lead fixed wall with saddles and fixing screws etc. or laid underground as in grid connection of earthing complete all as specified and directed. Note:- Two lengths of strips shall be jointed together by overlapping not less than 100 mm both ends through welding/brazing.

Supply and fix Earth continuity conductor or main earthing lead fixed to wall on saddles or recess or chases or buried in ground or drawn in conduit/pipe or fixed to poles or any other indicated situation for loop earthing etc. as required 4mm dia galvanised iron or steel wire complete all as specified and directed

Taking down old unserviceable single pointed termination rod any type over the roof from PCC block/GI pipe complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and fix single pointed termination aluminium rod 12 mm dia, 300 long on roof top including fixing/fitting of termination rod and over the roof in PCC block/GI pipe and making connection with roof/down conductor with Al strip by proper bolting/brazing etc complete all as specified and directed. Note : PCC and GI pipe shall be measured and paid separately under respective item of sch.

Supply and fix single pointed termination copper rod 12 mm dia, 300 long on roof top including fixing/fitting of termination rod and over the roof in PCC block/GI pipe and making connection with roof/down conductor with copper strip by proper bolting/brazing etc complete all as specified and directed. Note : PCC and GI pipe shall be measured and paid separately under respective item of sch.

Dismantling/Taking out old unserviceable earthing any type/size complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for Earthing complete with galvanised steel pipe electrode, 40mm bore, medium grade, 2.5 metre in length, buried directly and preferably vertically in ground with top edge not less than 1.25 metres below ground level connected with earthing lead of 4mm dia galvanised iron or steel wire all as shown in Plate No. 2 with 15mm dia medium grade GI pipe for protection to the earthing test point complete with charcoal, salt, PCC pit & RCC pit cover 50mm thick with lifting handle all as specified and indicated including testing on completion Note :- GI strip exceeding 7.5 mtr shall be measured and paid separately

Material and labour for earthing complete with galvanized steel earth plate electrode 600mm X 600mm X 6mm buried directly in ground vertically to a depth not less than 2.25 meter below normal ground level (with top edge of earth plate not less than 1.5 meter below ground level) connected to GI strip 32mm X 6 mm main earthing lead by means of galvanized bolts, nuts and washers all as shown in electrical plate no 3 of MES Schedule Part-I (1991) with connected to earth test point & to main switch board etc with & including adequate quantity of charcoal dust and common salt all around earth plate, PCC (1:3:6) type C-1 (using 20mm graded black trap/granite/Basalt stone aggregate) for earth pit with 40 x 40 x 6mm mild steel angle iron frame for cover, pre cast RCC (1:2:4) type B-1 (using 20mm graded black trap/granite/Basalt stone aggregate) 40mm thick cover reinforced with 8mm dia TMT bars 3 Nos both way with 12mm dia round bar handle, GI light grade watering pipe 20 mm dia with funnel and wire mesh, and 40 mm dia GI medium grade earth lead protection pipe, complete all as specified and directed. (NOTE : Earth strip and its protection pipe upto and including 7.5 mtr are included under this item)

M & L for Chemical Earthing complete with copper earth plate electrode 90 cm x 60cmx 5mm thick, buried directly in ground vertically (earth pit not less than 2.25 m deep below ground level) with top edge of the earth plate not less than 1.5m below ground level, connected to copper strip 32 x 6 mm as earthing lead by means bolts and nuts check nuts and washers of copper and connected to test point including insulating sleeve PCC chamber soil including necessary excavation in any type of soil, returning, filling removal of soil, filling with 3 bags (60 Kg each) of environment friendly portland cement based backfill compound (Resistivity below 0.15 ohm) and all connected to Earthing test point complete all as specified and directed and testing on completion. (NOTE : Earth strip and its protection pipe upto and including 7.5 mtr are included under this item)

Supply, installation, commissioning and testing of environment friendly ring earthing system. Each set consisting of 3 Nos of 10 feet length, 17.2 mm dia earth electrode made of high tensile low carbon steel circular rods, molecularly bonded cooper on outer surface (minimum copper bonding thickness - 250 microns) with terminals to connect incoming strip with 3 bags (60 Kg each ) of environment friendly Portland cement based backfill compound (Resistivity below 0.15 ohm) for each bore as per manufacturing instructions with ROHs test certificate for each 150 x 25 x 6 mm Copper Bar with 4 hole shall be exothermically welded on top to copper bonded rod to terminal laid in a bore of dia 300 mm which inner dia of size 150 mm fill with backfill material and outer bore fill with 100Kg Bantonite in each bore. 25 x 3 mm copper strip shall be used to interconnect the earths and to make the ring and earth pit cover polypropylene (300 mm x 300 mm) duly enclosed in PCC pit of size 600 x 600 x 100 mm shall be included in the scope of work. Make: OBO/JEF ECO SAFE/ENNOV Note: (i) Earthing shall be tested after completion of work by contractor in presence of Engr-in-Charge and proper record shall be maintained duly signed by all concerned. On testing if the desired earth resistance of less than 1.0 Ohm is not obtained the earthing will be redone at no extra cost to Govt. (ii) The cooper strip from earth test pt and upto Eqpt shall be measured and paid separately under relevant item. (iii) Test point measured and paid separately (iv) Copper strip for ring connection of earth rods and upto test point is included in the quoted rate.

Supply & fixing 40 mm dia bore tubing, Light grade,galvanised, with all fitting,screwed,and fixed complete to walls/ceilings and laid in floors for earthing strip protection/ fixing of air terminator rod including taking out old pipe complete all as specified & directed.

Supply & fixing 15 mm dia bore of tubing,Light grade,galvanised, with all fitting,screwed,and fixed complete to walls/ceilings and laid in floors for earthing strip protection/ fixing of air terminator rod including taking out old pipe complete all as specified & directed.

Taking down existing aluminium/copper strip of LA system from roof/wall cleaning, straighting and re-fixing on new insulator complete with fixing arrangements complete all as specified and directed.

Conducting periodical testing of earth pits by standred earth tester after disconnecting earth strip & submitting the records including reconnection complete all as specified and directed. (Note:- (1) Rs.10000 penlty for per month if contrector fail to submit the record duly signed by the concerned users in time for every month in 1st week.

Material and labour for improvement of earthing value upto the desired level as per requirment of equipment by pouring of mixture of salt/charcoal dust/magnesium sulphate/ bentonite in proper ratio including watering complete all as directed by Engineer-in-charge. Note :- Comunication to this effect shall be intimated to the contractor b concerned JE/AGE E/M telephonically and if the same is not attended within 72 hrs penality @ Rs. 1000/-per day/earth shall be deducted from contractor account.

S&F in replacement of the earth pit cover of polypropylene (250 mm Top x 340 mm Bottom x 250 mm Height) of 2 Kg weight complete all as specified and directed.

S&F in replacement of high quality copper bolts with nuts, washer to replace and repair existing earthing bolts of suitable length all as specified and directed.

S&F in replacement of galvanized iron steel water tubing 15 mm bore, medium grade for watering to earth pits, laid in trenches, including all fittings and fixtures complete all as specified and as directed.

S&F in replacement of Bib tap standard of PTMT any colour high pressure screwed for iron pipe and fixed.(Minimum weight 15mm-90gms) complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for Exothermically welding of size 50x6 + 25x3 mm of copper strip T joint shape with the help of mould used exoweld material (Terraweld powder T115,T200 per weld) should be done in all the joints complete all as specified and as directed. Note :- (1) Before weld contractor have to make Mould with handle for exothermic welding 4 way central joint of 25x3 mm Copper Strip. (2) Terraweld Exo-thermic Weld Powder (T200) per weld with ignitor. (3) Welding joint should be clean by Metal Bristles before welding

S&F in replacement of 32 mm medium grade PVC pipe ISI marked, burried earthing strip into the ground/ for passing through wall for proper insulation of building and equipment complete all as directed.

M&L for Brazing of size 40mmx25mmx5mm in copper strip of size 25x3mm at the joint of strip through copper rod of proper size and combination of oxygen acetylene gas cylinder.Joint must be able to withstand high tensile strength and properly done without any defect or without any crack all as specified and directed. Note :- (1) If any crack found in the brazing contractor will do brazing free of cost again.

Dismantling old /broken Earth pit chamber/ PCC block for construction of new earth pit chamber for earthing / PCC block for air termination rod of size as indicated and directed by Engineer-in-charge in (1:3:6) type C1 and plastering 15mm thick in cm (1:4) on internal external surfac of pit/ block including foarm work all as specified and directed.

M&L for RCC pit cover of size as indicated and directed by Engineer-in-charge in (1:2:4) type B1 with reinforced bar of 8mm dia with 100mm C/C including Lifting Handle complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Taking out tilted earth pit chamber and raming of sand compacting the area and again repositining of Earth pit chamber over a PCC 1:4:8 of 75 mm thick complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for fabrication of earth pit indicator made of MS sheet of 3mm thick (shape as directed ) welded on iron strip of 32mm x 6mm thick x 900mm long (150mm in below GL) dully painted with synthetic enemeled paint over a one coat of redoxide primer complete with writing earthing nomenaclature as specifed by Engineer-in-charge.

M&L for test point terminal block made of gun metal or phosphorus bronze size 75x75x25mm drilled and screwed including 3 nos. 8mm dia 25mm long hex.head screw complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Supply and fixing in replacement insulator/ separator of DMC/SMC material fixing screws on wall/ roof for laying of down/roof conductor complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Supply only clamp on type LCD Ground earth resistance testers for earth testing model number MECO 4680BLC all as specified and directed

Surface dressing not exceeding 15 cm indeep loose/ soft soil as in specified and and directed

Site clearance item No 33 all as specified and directed
