Maintenance work

Operation and maintenance of the STP for the Integrated office complex for both Commercial Tax and Registration department at Nandhanam with single operator (10hrs)from 8.00am to 6.00pm as follows. The operation starts at 8.00am on every day by starting the air blower in pump room, verifying uniform air distribution in collection and aeration tanks, by maintaining lubricating oil in the blower properly, cleaning the filter regularly. Starting the sewage feed pump to transfer the sewage water from collection tank to aeration tank, and maintaining the bacteria growth at the rate of 150ml/litre and maintaining the ph valve of 6.5 to 7.5ppm. Then maintaining clarisettler in which the sledge and water is separated and drain the sledge deposited at the bottom of tank one in 2 – 3 hrs with the help of pump for 2 minutes. The drained sledge will be deposited and dried in the drying bed. The remaining sewage water in the clarisettler will flow in to the filter feed tank with chlorine at 7ppm with the help of dosing pump, and maintaining the ph valve at the rate of 6.5 to 7.5ppm, Now the treated water in the filter feed tank will be pumped to the activated carbon filter in which to colour and odder will be removed and the total suspended solids will be maintained. Now the treated effluent from the filter is drained out of the STP after checking the BOD & COD levels (BOD>30pm, COD>20ppm). The carbon filter will be maintained by backwashing with the fresh water once in 5 hours for 15 minutes to maintain the filter media in proper level. The cost is inclusive of all miner works such as pump air lock, blower oil change, blower filter cleaning, addition of necessary chlorine, and chemical for maintaining the bacteria level, minor plumping work like small leakage and miner electrical works like fusing and maintaining the pumps etc. But exclusive spare parts required while maintaining the STP.
