REPAIRS TO SHOULDER OF MAIN RUNWAY AND TAXI TRACK AT AF STATION KALAIKUNDA

Scraping of grass/wild growth etc by manually on the shoulders of main Runway/taxi track including all around the runway light, etc, including removing of rubbish from the site to a distance exc, 500m but n. exc 1000m and deposited where directed at a level not exc. 1.5m above the starting point, complete all as specified and as directed Note: (i) cutting/scraping of grass/wild growth, etc, growth around the runway light (where ever require) shall be carried once in a month or as directed by engineer in charge and each cutting/scraping shall be measured and paid for separately

Scraping of grass/wild growth etc by using grass cutting machine around the runway light, etc, including removing of rubbish from the site to a distance exc, 500m but n. exc 1000m and deposited where directed at a level not exc. 1.5m above the starting point, complete all as specified and as directed and as per user requirement

Cleaning of monsoon drains 1.50m in depth (average) as ordered including taking out accumulated silts, sand, muds, etc. from bottom of drains, removal of all types of organic materials, silts, sand, muds, etc. from bottom of brick drains etc. to a distance of exc. 250m but not exc 500m, complete all as specified and as directed. Note: Monsoon drains to be cleaned for 2 time within the completion period.

M & L for Ploughing and Loosening of sand layer by using Mechanical Tractor including raising (or lowering) to required size and shape for the area approx 4182.00 Sqm (Size 91.5m x 22.85m x 2 Nos) as directed.Note: (i) Ploughing and Loosening shall be carried out at the minimum interval of 15 days or as directed. (ii) One job inclusive of minimum 5 to 6 hrs ploughing with mechanical tractor.

M & L for taking out old unserviceable sand from SGA and throwing it in low laying area exc 500 m but n.exc 1.50 km complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-charge.

M & L for Cutting grass mechanically operated or slasher where ever required including removing material obtained from cutting/cleaning both side of shoulders and WSA & thrown upto 5kms away from the site complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-Charges Note: (i) Contractor will arrange his own mechanical slasher (set of 01 tractor & jungle jim) with POL and MT driver. (ii) Work will be carried out on non flying day / non flying hours only as per direction of Engr-in-Charge.) No claim will be entertained due to any loss of working hours. (iii) The machine shall be run for a minimum 08 hours in a day and log register to be maintained in consultation with JE/Engr-in charge. Copy of the same duly signed by user and enginner in charge shall be submitted along with RAR/FB

M & L for removing of old uneven concrete slab (any size/any thickness) from the dispersal & ORPs and refixing in same opening including minor repairs with cement concrete M15 nominal mix complete all as directed by Engr-in-charge.
