Earthing to poles/lightening arrestor /GOD switch complete with galvanised steel earth plate electrode 60 cm x 60 cm x 6 mm thick buried directly in ground (earth pit not less than 2.25 m below normal ground level) with top edge of the plate at a depth not less than 1.5 m below ground level, the earth electrode surrounded by adequate quantity of charcoal dust and salt to a packed thickness of 15 cm on all sides, connected to galvanized earth lead 4.00mm dia upto 7.50 metre, including nuts, bolts, check nuts & washers of galvanized iron or steel and riveted to earth plate at one end and connecting to running earth wire/over head line conductor along pole at the other end, GI wire encased in and including 15mm bore GI light grade pipe with all fittings fixed with and including 25 x 3mm flat iron clamps, bolts, nuts and washer and also including providing watering pipe 20mm bore GI pipe light grade and incl funnel, wire mesh, copper lugs etc from bottom of earth pit to top of electrode complete with earth pit in PCC 1:3:6 type C-1 using 20mm graded crushed stone aggregate(including PCC pit cover) and RCC 1:2:4 type B-1 cover complete all specified and shown in electrical plate No 3 of SSR Pt-I connecting earth electrode to test point with and including earthing lead including necessary excavation and earthwork in any type of soil, returning, filling in approved soil and disposal of surplus soil to a distance n.exc 50m and taking out old material all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. (Note : 12 No Earthing of SCADA Works have been clubbed under this item )

All as per SI Item No 64 here-in above but using galvanised iron strip 32 x 6 mm as earthing lead and protection pipe 40 mm dia GI pipe complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Note for item No 64 & 65:- (i) PCC chamber shall be constructed at least 1.5 metre away from the earth electrode and pipe for metering shall be provided in slanting manner. (ii) The unit rate includes earthing lead & protection pipe upto 7.5 metre from top of earth plate.

Material and Labour Cross arm, bracings, stiffeners, supports, clamps, and back plates fabricated from structural steel section grade of Fe-290 (Grade E-165) such as channel angle iron, flat iron etc including nuts bolts, washers welding, bending cold or not drilling holes for bolts in any clamp or size including two coat of aluminium paint (under and finished coat) over a coat of primer (red oxide) after preparation of steel surfaces complete all as specified. Note: Unexposed surface shall be given one coat of primer only while computing the weight, the weight of paint shall not considered.

Supply and stringing Aluminium conductor, steel reinforced (ACSR) of any size/make including stringing for overhead line on HT poles including aluminium binding wire 14 SWG, jumpers, line tapes, conducting jelly etc, supplied and fixed complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge. (Notes: (i) The ACSR conductors shall be conforming to IS-398 and as specified in SSR Part-I. (ii) The unit rate quoted shall also be deemed to include for supply & fixing of aluminium binding wire, aluminium tapes etc which shall not be included in the weight of conductors. (iii) Weight of conductors shall be determined by measuring true horizontal distance between centers of two adjacent poles and compounding the weight of conductors of that size and length and 3% extra added for sag, jointing, jumpers etc. (iv) Weight of the conductors shall be calculated from the nominal weights given in tables in the relevant IS.)

Supply and Fixing Galvanised steel wire, 4mm dia including galvanised mild steel binding wire 1.63 mm dia or Cradles, guards fabricated with galvanised steel wire 3.15mm dia including binding with 1.63 mm dia galvanised steel wire complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer in Charge.

Boring of horizontal holes 160 mm dia, manually without disturbing the top surface for laying of cables/GI pipes under road , pavement, hard standing complete all as specified and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.

Supply and Fixing Disc type Insulator, porcelain, vitreous, 145 mm height , 255 mm dia ball and socket type, white, brown or green, double disc assembly for tension with tension clamps for conductors, working pressure 11000 volts complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and Fixing Pin type Insulator , porcelain, vitreous, white, brown or green insulator including one galvanised mild steel spindle, two galvanized iron washers and one galvanized iron nut, 150 mm height , 150 mm dia for 11000 volts grade complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and Fixing Pin type, porcelain, vitreous, white, brown or green insulator (SC-PN-3301) including one galvanised mild steel spindle, two galvanised iron washers and one galvanised iron nut, 220 mm height and 280 mm dia. for working pressure 33000 volts grade, supplied and fixed complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Supply and Fixing galvanised mild steel Disc insulator ( Tongue and clevis type) strain hardware fitting with three bolted tension clamp and one cross arm clamp suitable for ACSR weasel conductor of 11 KV Over head line supplied and fixed complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Supply and Fixing galvanised mild steel Disc insulator ( Tongue and clevis type) strain hardware fitting with three bolted tension clamp and one cross arm clamp suitable for ACSR rabbit conductor of 11 KV Over head line supplied and fixed complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Testing and commissioning on load as specified and all as directed by Eng-in-charge. Any part broken during shifting will be replaced by the contractor free of cost. Cost of Nuts, bolts, washer, anchor bolts, etc required for installation is deemed to be included in rate quoted. Cost of technical experts for reassembling of VCB is deemed to be included in rate quoted. Note : Cost of tools and all kind T&P required for dismantling, shifting and reassembling is deemed to be included in rate quoted.

Disconnecting connection of 33/ 11 KVA transformer 5 / 3.15 MVA and Shifting from one 33/11 Sub Stn to other substation inside Military area approx 5 KM away including connecting, charging, testing complete all as directed by Eng-in-Charge Note : Cost of tools and all kind T&P required for dismantling, shifting and reassembling is deemed to be included in rate quoted.

Supply and laying Cross linked poly-ethylene (XLPE) insulated, screened, PVC bedded, galvanised steel strip or wire armoured, electric power cables ( heavy duty) with aluminium conductor, 33000 volts grade (earthed type) of cross-sectional area 240 Sqmm 3 core conforming to IS-7098 (Part-I) laid in trenches/through pipe in road crossings/ paths /drains /ducts /floors /along poles/walls/ceilings/ equipments etc. complete supply and fixed/ laid all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.( Note:-(i) Necessary excavation and earth work, brick protection, sand cushioning and cover and GI pipe shall be measured and paid for separately. )

Supply and Fixing Cable jointing kit for HT 33 KV (Earthed) cable for out door end termination ,cold shrinkable type joint kit complete with jointing material and accessories suitable for 3 Core XLPE armoured aluminium Conductor cable of size 240 sqmm including testing after jointing, fixing complete all as specified as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Supply and erecting Steel tubular swaged poles complete with MS base plate, finial taper plug, as specified type 410 SP-64(12.00 mtr long) including painting of complete pole 12m long with 2 coats of aluminium anti corrosive paints of first quality over a coat of red oxide primer including painting to pole upto 1.5m height from top of PCC coping with synthetic enamel paint 2 coat in black and white alternate strip including numbering in 8 cm height of number with white paint both paint aluminium/synthetic duly approved by the GE complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge. ( Note:- Necessary Earth work and PCC will be measured and paid separately)

Supply and Fixing Stay assembly complete with 20 mm dia, 2000 mm long GI stay rod, with threaded ends and GI nuts, two number thimbles, MS galvanised clamps made out of 40mmx 6mm flat iron including MS nuts, bolts and washers, 300mm x 300mm x 6mm MS galvanised stay plate, stay bow, loop insulator, galvanized stay strand 7/4 mm including shackle and stay clamp and also including painting of exposed MS work with two coats of aluminium paint over a coat of red oxide zinc chromate primer, material and labour complete all as shown in electrical plate No 1 of MES Schedule Part-I complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge. (Contd Ser No 85)

Supply and fixing energy efficient LED wide angle flood light fitting of 150 watt capacity with driver, including electric connection with using twin core flexible copper conductor cable of size 2.5 sqmm including 20mm dia steel stove enemalled conduit fixed along PCC/ steel tubular pole with clamps made out of MS flat iron of size 25 x 3mm at not more than 100 cm c/c matching with section of poles, including suitable size of nuts, bolts and washers with two coats of aluminium paint over a coat of red oxide primer complete. Fitting with all accessories and following specification all as directed by Engr – in Charge:- (a) Lumen system efficacy of luminaire should be minimum 110 Lumen per watt. Note for item No – 86: (a) Contractor shall submit LM – 79 and LM – 80 reports obtain from manufactures. (b) Contractor shall to furnish a replacement warranty of 05 years for LED light fittings complete including lamps from the date of completion of CA. The product will be replaced including taking down and re-fixing new luminary free of cost in the following case ;- (i) Manufacturing defects. (ii) Failure due to mechanical and electrical impact. (iii) Drop in luminary (or Lux at 1 mtr) below 90% of claimed values of lumens (or Lux at 1 mtr) of the LED luminaries. M & L Anti-climbing devices, spikes-type fabricated out of MS flat 40mm x 6 mm in two parts with 14 Nos, 250mm long 12 mm dia spikes made to shape including nuts, bolts & washers and welding in two halves to suit the cross section of the pole including painting with two coats of aluminium paint over a coat of red oxide zinc chromate primer, supply and fixed, complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Re-stringing of existing HT 33 KV over head line ACSR conductor of any size/type including repair of existing loose conductor, contraction etc, on existing HT lattice pole including replacement of aluminium binding wire of suitable size carefully without damaging of insulator etc complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. (Note :- Unit for measurement of this item “Each Span” which shall comprise of 3 Nos conductors and GI wire between respective pole)

Trimming/pruning of tree branches coming across electric power head lines HT 33 /11 KV feeder, clearing the span and making the feeder free from touching the tree branches and removing cut tree branches from road and disposing at distance of more than 500 mtr complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Preparation of old painted surfaces and painting of MS Lattice tower pole 12.5 mtr long upto the top surface of pole with 2 coats of aluminium anti corrosive paint of best quality (aluminium/synthetic as approved by the GE) complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Supply, fabrication and installation for 33 KV tower structure for Sub Station structure including necessary welding and painting with 2 coats of aluminium anti-corrosive paint of first quality over a coat of red oxide primer from outside and inside surface all as per drawing complete with foundation bolts all as specified and directed.
