Excavating in trenches, n exc 1.5 m wide and n exc 1.5 m in depth; for foundation, etc. in soft / loose soil complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge .

Surface excavation n exc 30 cm deep and averaging 15 cm deep and getting out in soft / loose soil etc complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge .

Removing excavated material n exc. 50m and depositing where directed at a level n exc. 1.5 m above the starting point complete all as specified and as directed.

M & L for broken stone/boulders hard core of gauge not exceeding 63mm, deposited, spread levelled in layers n exc 15 cm thick, watered and rammed to a true surface all as specified and directed by Engineer - in - Charge.

M&L for PCC 1:4:8 type D2 using 40mm graded crushed stone aggregate as in foundation, mass concrete all as specified and directed by Engineer - in - Charge

M&L for providing and laying at or near ground level factory made kerb stone of M-25 grade cement concrete in position to the required line, level and curvature, jointed with cement mortar 1:3 (1 cement: 3 coarse sand), including making joints with or without grooves (thickness of joints except at sharp curve shall not to more than 5 mm), including making drainage opening wherever required complete all as specified and directed by Engineer - in - Charge.

M & L preparation of new or previously untreated surfaces of any description over 10 cm width or girth applying two coats of synthetic enamel paint over a coat of water proof primer on bricks, stone, concrete, asbestos cement plaster surfaces all as specified and directed by Engineer - in - Charge (Note: Pattern / colour of painting to be decided and approved by Engineer - in - Charge)

Providing and laying 60mm thick factory made chamfered edge cement concrete paver block of M-35 grade with approved colour, design & pattern as in footpath, parks, lawns, drive ways or light traffic parking etc., of required strength, thickness & size/ shape, made by table vibratory method using PU mould, laid in required colour & pattern over and including 50mm thick compacted bed of coarse sand, compacting and proper embedding/ laying of interlocking paver blocks into the sand bedding layer through vibratory compaction by using plate vibrator, filling the joints with fine sand and cutting of paver block as per required size and pattern, finishing and sweeping extra sand; complete.all as specified and directed by Engineer - in - Charge.
