M&L for preparation of old black top surfaces by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc, sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the surface with gunny bags to remove all loose dust/ dirt complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

M & L for Preparation of bituminous surface and Applying evenly a Tack Coat with Cationic Bitumen Emulsion RS-1 confirming to IS:8887 at a rate of application of 0.2-0.3 kg/sqm on bitumnous surface as specified in Table 500-5 of MoRT&H specification for road and bridge works 2013, using mechanical sprayer after cleaning of existing sufaces complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

M&L for Bituminous concrete (BC) 30 mm thick (consolidated thickness) layer conforming to clause 507 of MORT&H specifications for Road and Bridge work (Fifth Revision) including cost of coarse aggregates, fine aggregates, filler, with 5.5% binder (VG-30) contents by weight of total mix, crushed aggregate of grading 2, anti stripping agent, warm mix additives (quantity, quality and grade as per the approved job mix formula) etc, cleaning and pre-heating of the mineral aggregate, filler & bitumen of specific temperature throughly mixing with binder of specified bitumen content, anti stripping agent, warm mix additives as per mix design in hot mix plant (batch type), carrying the hot mixed materials by means of tipper, trucks or any other approved and and suitable arrangements, laying and hot premixed materials over the prepared surface by means of paver finisher including manual operation as and when required for proper grade, level and camber through rolling with power roller 8 to 12 tonnes smooth wheeled, vibratory and tandem roller with necessary hand packing and pinning to give an even surface .....Contd

contdd... including running expense of all plants and machineries, inclusive of proper traffic control during laying to the satisfaction of Engineer-in-charge, required quality control tests at required interval etc complete in all respects complete all as specified and directed. Notes : (i) The contractor shall quote the rate against item considering 5.5 % VG-30 bitumen content. Job Mix formula as per clause No. 505.3.3 of MORT&H specification for road and bridge work (Fifth Revision) for bituminous concrete shall be got designed from NIT/ CTL/ Govt Engg College and shall be got approved from GE in writing well before commencement of work without any financial effect to the department. Also the bitumen content shall not be less than 5.4 % by weight of total mix as per clause 507.2.5 of MoRT&H specifications (Fifth Revision). (ii) The cost of materials, transportation, Job mix formula form lab and testing charges for various tests as required are included in the unit rate quoted by the contractor. (iii) Cost of Filler i.e. rock dust, hydrated lime or cement is deemed to be included in unit rate.

Notes :(iv) if qty of binder contents is less than the qty as specified in respective items of BOQ, it shall be adjusted at supply only rates of paving bitumen @ Rs. 45.00 Per KG and if qty of binder contents is more than the qty as specified is respective items of BOQ, no adjustment shall be made. (v) After spreading of mix as per clause 507.4.7 of MoRT&H specification entire surface during the operation shall be rolled with road roller 8-10 tonnes (smooth wheeled) followed with vibratory road roller of 8-12 tonnes static weight, followed by finish rolling with 6 to 8 tonnes smooth wheeled tandem roller as per clause no. 507.4.8 of MoRT&H specifications (Fifth Revision) and the cost of the same shall be deemed to be included in the quoted rate.

M&L for Scarifying or picking gravelled, macadam or bituminous macadam surfaces in area not exc 400 sqm and not exceeding 50mm and deep complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Providing, laying & Compaction of bituminous, macadam (BM) compacted thickness upto 50 mm conforming to clause 504 of MoRT&H specification for Road and Bridge works (Fifth Revision) using mechanically crushed stone aggeagates and granual material etc of grading II as per Table 500-7 of MORT&H Specifications for Road and Bridge Works (Fifth Revision) premixed with bitumenous binder Bitumen grade VG-30 @3.5% (percentage by weight of total mix) prepared in Batch type Hot Mix Plant transported to site by tippers, laid over a previously prepared surface with paver finisher equiped with electronic sensor to the required grade, level and allignment and rolling with smooth wheeled, vibratory and tandem rollers as per specifications to achieve the desired compaction and density complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Notes : (i) The contractor shall quote the rate against item considering 3.5% VG-30 bitumen content. Mix Design for Bituminous macadam shall be got designed from NIT/ CTL/ Govt Engg College and shall be got approved from GE in writing well before commencement of work without any financial effect to the department. Also the bitumen content shall not be less than 3.4% by weight of total mix as per clause 504.2.4 of MoRT&H specifications (Fifth Revision). (ii) If qty of binder contents is less than the qty as specified in respective items of BOQ, it shall be adjusted at supply only rates of paving bitumen @ Rs. 45.00 Per KG and if qty of binder contents is more than the qty as specified is respective items of BOQ, no adjustment shall be made.

M&L for marking 2.00 mm thick centre line, side line, stop line, dashes, arrows, brackets & similar work on road surfaces as per IRC pattern with thermo plastic paint of approved quality & make with 20% glass beads laid at temperature of 160 degree centigrade with a mechanical applicator machine complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Supply and fix solar cat eye/ solar stud, aluminum alloy shall (100% water proofing design according to 65) of size 125mm x 125mm x 25mm (shank 65mm) of high efficiency Mono rystafie solar panel 2.4V/ 0.3 watt one NI-ed rechargeable battery (1.2V/ 1600MA) consisting of super bright LED with 10,000 to 18,000 mcd complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Supply and fixing in repair cat eye, reflective type of metal body alloy of size 100mm x 100mm x 20mm with PAMA striplens reflector of model No. DA 972.0 fixed with and incl MS stud of suitable size as per manufactures instructions complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Demolition of cement Concrete (un-reinforced) in ground floors and pavings n. exc 15 cm thickness (below or above ground level) and removal of debris n. exc. 50 mtr and depositing where directed at a level n. exc 1.5 mtr above starting point complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Material and Labour for 75 mm thick PCC 1:4:8 type D-2 using 40 graded stone aggregate as in sub base and finishing the surface even & rough to receive floor finish complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Material and Labour for laying factory made machine pressed precast concrete interlocking paver block with grey cement and no pigment any shape and size (design approved by GE) casted in rubber moulds and compacted on vibratory table confirming to IS 15658-2006 of 60 mm thickness, M-35 Grade, laid over and including 25 mm thick sand cushioning including demolition of old tiles, any type complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Material & Labour for Providing and laying at or near ground level factory made kerb stone of M-25 grade cement concrete in position to the required line, level and curvature, with Cement Mortar 1:3 (1 cement: 3 Sand) including making joints with or without grooves (thickness of joints except at curve shall not be more than 5 mm), including making drainage opening wherever required complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

M&L for preparation of new concrete surfaces exc. 10 cm in width or girth and appplying two coats of synthetic enamel paint over a coat of primer complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.
