Pipe-Type Chemical earthing which includes digging a suitablesized pit in which a 3 Metre long copper pipe is inserted vertically and the pit is back-filled by a mixture of charcoal, salt, and bentonite in a ratio so as to achieve earth value of less thhan 2 ohms.

Supplying, Installation, Testing & Commissioning (SITC) of chemical earthing station (copper type) for industrial use, complete with the following specifications: Electrode: Copper bonded / solid copper electrode, minimum 17 mm dia, 3 meter length (or as per IS standard) Earthing Type: Maintenance-free chemical earthing Backfill Compound: High conductivity earthing compound (Bentonite/graphite-based) Earth Pit: Minimum 300 mm dia bore (or as required) Chamber: Masonry/RCC earth pit chamber with CI/FRP cover (300×300 mm approx.) Watering Arrangement: GI pipe with funnel & mesh for watering Earthing Lead: Copper strip 25×3 mm OR copper wire (8 SWG) from electrode to equipment panel (up to 10 m included) Protection: PVC/GI pipe protection for earthing lead Test Link: Providing test link for earth resistance measurement Salt & Charcoal: If required (in addition to chemical compound) Accessories: All clamps, nuts, bolts, lugs, excavation & refilling, etc. Complete work including excavation, installation, refilling, chamber construction, testing and commissioning as per IS 3043 and site requirements. Technical Earth resistance should be ≤ 1 Ohm (for industrial application) Work shall comply with IS 3043 (Earthing Standard) Electrode should be corrosion resistant & long life (15–25 years) A proper watering system must be ensured All joints should be properly brazed/bolted with anti-corrosive treatment

Supplying, Installation, Testing & Commissioning (SITC) of solid copper pin type earthing electrode (industrial type) complete with the following specifications: Electrode: Solid copper rod (pin type) Diameter: 12 mm / 16 mm / 17 mm (as specified) Length: 3 meter (or extendable with coupler if required) Material: 99.9% pure electrolytic copper Installation: Driven into ground by mechanical hammering method Backfill: Chemical earthing compound / salt & charcoal (if required for low resistivity) Earthing Lead: Copper strip 25×3 mm OR 8 SWG copper wire from electrode to equipment (up to 10 m included) Protection: PVC/GI pipe for mechanical protection of earthing lead Test Arrangement: Providing test link for periodic earth resistance measurement Chamber: Small inspection pit with PCC base and CI/FRP cover (approx. 300×300 mm) Watering: GI pipe (optional, if required) Accessories: Clamps, lugs, couplers, driving head, nuts & bolts, anti-corrosive compound, etc. Complete as required at site including excavation (if needed), driving of rod, connection, chamber construction, testing and commissioning as per IS 3043. Unit Technical Earth resistance to be achieved: ≤ 1–2 Ohm (industrial standard) Work shall comply with IS 3043 (Code of Practice for Earthing) Rod should be fully corrosion resistant with long service life Proper tight and secure connections with anti-corrosive paste Depth may be increased using couplers if resistance is not achieved
