Repair and renovation of Basketball court at Pm Shri KV No. 01 AFS Kalaikunda

Removing old cement concrete , hacking for key, raking out joints of old cement concrete work or stone work built in cement mortar; not previously plastered; and scrubbing mortar.

M&L plain cement concrete 75 mm thick type D-2:1:4:8 (40mm graded aggregate) as sub base, foundation, filling & mass concrete.

M&L plain cement concrete type B-2 1:2:4 (40mm graded aggregate) as flooring and finished to floor surface even and smooth with out using extra cement.

M&L Wearproof topping as specified (incorporating an approved metallic floor hardner),20 mm laid on concrete floors and pavings, and finished even and smooth (except metallic hardner) .complete all as specified and directed.

M&L precast concrete block masonry with solid block exc 10 cm in width, type C1, 1:3:6 (using 20 mm gaded stone aggregate) setting in cement mortar (1:6). complete all as specified and directed.

M&L rendering 15mm thick on fair faces of brick work or concrete surface in CM 1:4 surface finished even and smooth without using extra cement.complete all as specified and directed

M&L cement concrete type B-1, 1:2:4 mix (using 20 mm graded stone aggregate) in bed blocks, coping etc; including necessary formwork. complete all as specified and directed

M&L forming Construction Joint 60 mm deep x 10mm wide filled with sealing compound Grade B.

M&L forming contraction dummy joints 30mm deep x 10mm wide filled with sealing compound grade B.

Supply and fixing in position Basketball equipment as per latest international standards ITF approved consisting of the following :- (i) Backboard support structure or poles of suitable steel sections/pipes as per approved design embedded in concrete foundation below ground with suitable bolts and 12mm MS base plates. The height of the support structure shall be such that the height from ground level (playing floor) to top of basket ring shall be 3.05 M and shall have a projection of 3.25 M . The steel sections shall be suitably spray painted in approved tint. (ii) Backboard shall be of 30mm thick transparent acrylic board with reinforced frames of size 1800mm horizontally and 1050mm vertically. (iii) Basket/ Dunking ring shall be made of solid steel bars of 20 mm dia with an internal dia of 450mm and shall be fixed to the backboard support structures in such a way that any force applied to the ring cannot be transferred to the backboard. The ring shall be suitably spray painted. (iv) Nylon net made of 7mm nylon rope to the standard size and design.
