SPL REPAIR OF VARIOUS ROADS AT DIFFERENT LOCATIONS OF AD REGT AND AD BRIGADE AT OAF UNDER GE 970 EWS

M&L Repair to potholes any depth, area not exc 1 sqm each including sweeping free from dust and mud, or water, scoring sunken surfaces in roads, paths, etc cutting around edges to at least 25mm in depth, making good by filling in screened and graded road metal, watering and well ramming (including supply or road metal) and making good by applying tack coat @ 5Kg per 10 Sqm of paving bitumen of grade VG-10, putting in premixed bituminous macadam, well rammed and sealed with binder 9.8 kg per 10 Sqm using mechanical paver blinded with 0.09 cum of stone chippings, 6.3 mm size and again well rammed(including supply of premixed macadam binder and chippings) depth of pothholes exc 30 mm complete all as specified and directed.

Scarifying or picking gravelled macadam or bituminous macadam surfaces in area n. exc 400 sqm and thickness or depth exc 50mm but n exc 100mm with and including removing and stacking the excavated material complete all as specified and directed.

M&L 7.5cm thick (compacted thickness) WBM, with Granite, trap or Basalt coarse aggregates of grading 2 (63 to 40mm size) spread, rolled & consolidated to required gradient & camber with 10 to 12 tonne power roller complete all as specified and directed.

M&L preparing unsurfaced water bound macadam by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc, sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surface with gunny bags or mechanical air compressor to remove all loose dirt etc and applying evenly a priming /tack coat with bituminous primer of grade VG-10 (paving bitumen) at the rate of 10 Kg per 10 Sqm complete all as specified and directed.

M&L preparing existing black top surface by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc, sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surface with gunny bags or mechanical air compressor to remove all loose dirt etc and applying evenly a priming /tack coat with bituminous primer (paving bitumen) of grade VG-10 at the rate of 5 Kg per 10 Sqm complete all as specified and directed.

M&L premix bituminous, macadam laid/rolled and compacted to required gradient and camber using mechinical paver (consolidated thickness 75mm or less) using paving bitumen of grade VG-30 binder content of 4% by weight of total mix after applying evenly a priming/tack coat with bituminous primer using paving bitumen (VG-10) at the site of 5kg per 10 sqm etc complete all as specified and directed. Notes :- (a) Premixed Bituminuous Macadam shall be laid using self propelled hydrostatic paver finisher and preparation of mix shall be using hot mix plant and transporting the mix in tipper. (b) The exact bitumen content required shall be determined following the Mix Design procedure contained in the Asphalt Institute Manual MS-2 (Sixth Editoni) as referred in case 3.5.3 of IRC 111:2009, The adjustment in rate due to variation in quantity of bitumen if any shall be priced at the rate of Rs. 80.00 per KG of bitumen.

M&L Providing bituminous premix asphaltic semi-dense concrete (SDAC) 30 mm consolidated thickness with 5.5% of VG-30 bitumen binder content by weight of total mix by using machanical paver, rolled and compacted to required camber and gradient by using power roller of 10 to 12 tonne capacity complete all as specified and directed. Note :- (a) Bituminous premix semi dense asphaltic concrete shall be prepared in central computerised hot mix plant. (b) Design mix shall be got done by the contractor at his own expenses from Govt approved or NABL approved laboratory as decided by GE. (c) Contractor shall quote his rates by considering binder contents @ 5.5% of total mix by weight, however in case of any variation in weight of binder contents on lower side as per actual mix design, the same shall be adjusted @ Rs. 80.00 per Kg of bitumen

M&L preparing bituminous surfaces of road and marking 2.5mm thick centre lines, stop lines, dashes, arrows etc and the like n exc 10 cm wide on road pavement with hot applied thermo plastic road marking paint of approved colour confirming to BS 3262-1989 with special applicator machine all as per manufacturer's instructions complete all as specified and directed.

S&F in repairs cat eye solar reflective type of metal body alloy size 100mm x 100mm x 20mm with PAMA striplens reflector of Model No DA.972.0 fixed with and including MS stud of suitable size as per manufacturer's instructions complete all as specified and directed.

S&F in repairs solar cat eye aluminum alloy shall (100% water proofing design according to 65) of size 125mm x 125mm x 25mm (shank 65mm) of high efficiency Mono rystafie solar panel 2.4V/0.3 watt one NI-ed rechargeable battery (1.2V/1600MA) consisting of super bright LED with 10,000 to 18,000 mcd complete as per manufacturer's instructions etc complete all as specified and directed.
