DIESEL ENGINE :

GENSET CONTROLLER -

The controoler should be a microprocessor based generator set monitoring and control system. The control should provides a simple operator interface to the generator set, manual and remote start/ stop control, shutdown fault indication, and an LCD hour counter. The integration of all functions into a single control system provides enhanced reliability and performance compared to conventional generator set control systems. The control has been designed and tested to meet harsh environment in which gensets are typically applied.

Alternator :-

Single bearing alternator suitable for continuous operation generating 250 KVA at 1500 RPM, 415Volts, 0.8 power factor suitable for 50 Hz, 3 phase system. The alternator shall be in SP-DP enclosure, self excited, self regulated, foot mounted with ball and/ or roller bearings on end shields. The alternator confirms to IS/IEC 60034-1 & will be suitable for operation in tropical conditions.The alternator shall be of self-excited, self regulated, self ventilated in brushless design, provided with suitable automatic voltage regulator and shall conform to BS:2613 or BS : 5000 and shall give rated output at NTP conditions.

CONTROL PANEL FOR DG SET :

The Generator control shell be indoor type, floor mounted, dust and vermin proof in sheet steel construction. The panel shall have doors at the front and back for proper maintenance. The panel shall have steel channel fabricated kick-plate and bolted type cable gland plate fitted at the bottom. The panel shall be constructed from 2 mm thick steel sheet. All the joint shall have proper gasket.

Monitoring and control devices shall be housed on the front door. Generally the construction of the panel will be such that various equipments for application will be housed in compartment. All incoming and out going power and control cables shall be from the bottom.

The panel will be equipped as follows :-

Incomer - 1 no. 3-pole, 400 Amp MCCB, Set of CTs for metering.

Indication Lamps :- Genset Running, Set on Load, Phase Indication.

SOUND ATTENUATED SYSTEM

The Sound Attenuated DG sets are designed and engineered by the CAD/CAM experts conforming to international standards and mandatory noise level norms achieving Noise level of 75 dB(A) at a distance of 1 Metres. in open environment.The system is made of high-class sheet metal fabricated panels of 16G thickness having modular construction with multi-fold sheet channels & ISMC section for ease of assembly and dismantling, and high quality Fireproof Acoustic material i.e. Rock Wool (50-100 mm thick having 64-96 kg/m3 density).

ACCOUSTIC MATERIALS :-

Acoustic enclosure ismade of CRCA sheets in munsel green shde and a structural/sheet metal base frame painted in black and fire retardant grade acoustic insulation material (P.U .Foam.) complying to IS 8183

VENTILATION

Acoustic enclosure is designed in such a way that there are no hot pockets around engine and it is provided with suitable designed engine radiator which does not allow the temperature to rise more than 70C above ambient temperature.To achieve optimal output and minimum sound level from the DG set, suitable openings are provide for increasing the inflow of air required for combustion & forced ventilation. Air intake system as per the recommendations and engine requirement are provided.

SILENCER

Specially designed low noise silencer with rain cap suitably optimised to meet stringent niose emission standards laid down by MoEF/CPCB

VIBRATION ISOLATION:-

To avoid transfer of vibration from genset to enclosure & surrounding specially designed vibration isolators are used.

Warranty-:

Standard 2 years comprehensive warranty on Engine& Alternator, from date of dispatch or 5000 Hrs. of operation from the date of commissioning,whichever is earlier angainst any manufacturing defect. 5 critical parts of Engine(Cylinder Head,Cyclinder block,crankshaft,camshaft, connecting Rod) shall be warranted for 5 years or 5000 Hrs. of operastion whichever is earlier from the date of dispatch angainst manufacturing defect.

Complete rate of DG Set including, Price of DG set, Price of AMF Panel, Installation charges Cable connection including foundation charges etc. completes in all respects: -Makes:- Sudhir/ Catepillar / Volvo/Kirloskar or as approved by Engineer-in-charge.

Earthing with copper earth plate 600 mm X 600 mm X 3 mm thick including accessories, and providing masonry enclosure with cover plate having locking arrangement and watering pipe of 2.7 metre long etc. with charcoal/ coke and salt as required.

Providing and fixing 25mm x 5mm copper stripin 40mm dia on G.I pipe from earth electrode etc. as required

Providing Laying and fixing of one no FR PVC Round sheathed copper conductor(Flexible) signal industrial cable2.5 sqmm (6 core) working voltage 1100 volts grade on surface etc. of required size .
