Providing and fixing GRC jali panels of 25mm thickness and design pattern as per the Engineer Incharge. The rate inclusive of cost for GRC panels, fixing charges, tools, tackles with neccessary bolts, sealant and putty etc. (MS frame work and painting extra which will be paid separately)
Providing and Laying Self compacting Cementitious screed floor (Polished concrete floor) of minimum thickness 50mm tk and a maximum thickness of 75mm over the existing concrete surface to get sufficient slope to drain the rain water. The concrete shall be laid to get the suitable approved pattern. The concrete shall be made with with grey & white cement (50 :50 area) and aggregates shall be graded, washed and size shall be 12mm down. In addition, lithium based densifier shall be used at the appropriate stages @ 200 gms / Sqm. Grouting shall be done with Epoxy resin for closing all pin holes and cracks. The rate inclusive of applying suitable sealer over the finished surface, cutting grooves at regular intervals and sealing with suitable sealant as per the engineer-in-charge. The Gloss level for the finished concrete surface shall be above 60 and hardness above 6 on Moh's scale. The rate is inclusive the cost of floor preparation, making design / patterns with approved colour etc., complete as per direction of Engineer-in-Charge. Grade of the concrete – M 40 Minimum Cement content - 400 kgs per Cbm No fly ash No Slag. Glass fiber dosage @ 900gms / cum Polishing -100% exposure of aggregates.
Providing and laying Stamp Concrete (PPE fiber reinforced (@ 0.2 kg / cum M40 grade concrete )from Mcube readymix or equivalent over a layer of LDPE sheet of 400 micron as base. Other requirement shall be (1) Pigmented Colour Hardener @ minimum 3.5 Kg per Sq.M. Colour hardener to be broadcasted to the entire leveled floor surface (2) White powder release agent @ 150 gms per Sq.M to be broadcasted over the color hardener ie broadcasted already (3) Desired pattern and colour (as approved by Engineer incharge ) is stamped to the approved area (4) Required groove cut to be done as per the joint requirements (5) After 24 to 48 hours of laying wash the entire surface with pressure wash and after drying sealer coat given to get the final finish. Floor Thickness shall not be less than 100mm. The rate inclusive of charges for laying the concrete, stamping and finishing the surface to get approved design. The rate inclusive of centering and shuttering , labour and equipment for concreting, stamping, charges for M40 grade concrete etc., complete.
Providing and fixing stainless steel ( Grade 304) railing, grating etc.., made of Hollow tubes, channels, plates etc., including welding, grinding, buffing, polishing and making curvature (wherever required) and fitting the same with necessary stainless steel nuts and bolts complete, i/c fixing the railing with necessary accessories & stainless steel dash fasteners , stainless steel bolts etc., of required size, on the top of the floor or the side of waist slab with suitable arrangement as per approval of Engineer-in-charge, (for payment purpose only weight of stainless steel members shall be considered excluding fixing accessories such as nuts, bolts, fasteners etc.).

Roof treatment - : Providing and laying PU membrane (moist cured) over the existing terrace including providing Khura and Gola, laying the heat reflective tile over the membrane etc., complete. The work should be carried out involving the following items, sequences and specifications. a) Polymer modified mortar :- Resurfacing of the substrate with Sika Latex (or MIXBOND SBR of FABCHEM, Rheomix 141 of BASF or Nitobond SBR of FOSROC) polymer modified cement mortar (Cement: sand ratio : 1:3 with a Water (Mixed with Sika Latex) cement ratio of 0.4-0.45), with a minimum thickness of 20 mm, to get a levelled surface. The dosage of Sika Latex will be 4 kgs per bag of cement. The rate should be inclusive of bonding coat with cement and latex mix of ratio 1:1 over the cleaned surface before application of mortar. b)Treatment to rain water mouth / Khura- making opening for fixing the rain water pipe with a diameter of the opening should be more than 25cm around the rain water pipe to be fixed. The new rain water pipe to be fixed to the opening after installing swellable acrylic based PU water bar around the pipe, fixing the rain water pipe to the opening made and filling the gap between the rain water pipe and the opening with non shrink grout without any gap, applying a layer of cementitious water proof coating over the rainwater floor mouth (The rate also inclusive of applying a layer of cementitious coating Cement : SBR 1:1 ratio over the wall floor junction before applying coving) and finishing the surface neatly.
c) Providing gola / coving 75x75 mm in cement concrete 1:2:4 admixed with 4 Ltr of SBR latex for 50 kg of cement (1 cement : 2 coarse sand : 4 stone aggregate 10 mm and down gauge), including finishing with cement mortar 1:3 admixed with 4 Ltr of SBR with 50 kg of cement (1 cement : 3 fine sand) as per standard design. d) Supply and applying PU moist cured- Supplying and laying single component PU system using spray application only with MC-HYPERDESMO or equivalent product of SIKA / BASF/ ASIAN PAINT / FOSROC is a one component polyurethane fluid which cures with the humidity in the atmosphere. It produces a highly elastic membrane with strong adhesion to many types of surfaces. It is based on pure elastomeric hydrophobic polyurethane resin plus special inorganic fillers, which result in excellent mechanical, chemical, thermal, UV and natural element resistance properties. Apply with airless spraying in two, at least, coats with minimum total consumption of 1.5-1.8 kg/m2 or as specified by the manufacturer. The rate inclusive of necessary surface preparation to receive the waterproofing coating etc., complete.
e)Ponding test by storing water for a minimum depth of 20 cm and the water to be retained for not less than 48 hours or as required by engineer in charge to ascertain any leakage. Necessary repair / grouting to be done free cost to arrest any leakage observed. f)Geotextile:- Supply and apply a polyester based geotextile protection fleece. Product: Sarnafelt® 300 or equivalent approved by IITM. Product requirements: density ≥ 300 g/m2; thickness 2.4 mm; tensile strength ≥ 430 N/50mm; elongation at break ≤ 100 %; tear strength ≥ 250 N; puncture resistance ≥ 1600 N; cone drop: 13 mm. g)Providing and laying light weight concrete of grade not less than M2.5 using expandable polystyrene aggregate to maintaining adequate of density 800-900 kg/ cum and same shall be laid to maintain slope to drain the rain water over the geotextile (not less than 1 in 80).The minimum cement contnent shall not less than 250 Kg/cum. The mix design shall be approved by the engineer incharge. Minimum thickness of the concrete shall be 5cm.
h)Providing and fixing Heat Resistant Terrace Tiles (300 mm x 300 mm x 9.5 mm) manufactured by ABC or equivalent with SRI (solar refractive index) > 78, solar reflection >0.70 and emittance >0.75 on 30 mm thick cool mortar as per manufacturer specification on sloped surface of terrace, laid on water resistant cement slurry prepared in the ratio of 1:3 ( 1 cement and 3 abc plus powder and add 3% Nano Acryl by volume) and grouting the joints (>3mm) with abc Grout and PPF (Poly Propylene Fiber) in the ratio of 2 to 3 gm PPF per kg of abc Grout including wetting (by using a piece of sponge) the grouted surface by abc Nano Clear in the ratio of 100 ml in two liter water. , including providing skirting upto 300 mm height along the parapet wall in the same manner.
Providing wood work in frames of doors, windows, clerestory windows and other frames, wrought framed and fixed in position : Second class teak wood

The measurement will be made based on the actual weight of the clamp and necessary bolt.
Extra Charges for hot dip galvanizing for MS steel section of 70 Microns instead of zinc primer and the rate is inclusive of transport from site, loading, unloading and fore frieght charges etc complete at all levels as per the direction of Engineer in charge.
Removing of existing surplus earth, rubbish and garbage through the lorry / truck including loading, unloading and transporting to out side the IITM premises including approval from local authorities like municipality/corporation complete as per the direction of Engineer in charge. Necessary deduction for voids @ of 20% will be made from the actual measured volume of rubbish.
Providing and fixing factory made uPVC white colour sliding glazed window upto 1.50 m in height dimension comprising of uPVC multi-chambered frame with in-built roller track and sash extruded profiles duly reinforced with 1.60 ± 0.2 mm thick galvanized mild steel section made from roll forming process of required length (shape & size according to uPVC profile), appropriate dimension of uPVC extruded glazing beads and uPVC extruded interlocks, EPDM gasket, wool pile, zinc alloy (white powder coated) touch locks with hook, zinc alloy body with single nylon rollers (weight bearing capacity to be 40 kg), G.I fasteners 100 x 8 mm size for fixing frame to finished wall and necessary stainless steel screws etc. Profile of frame & sash shall be mitred cut and fusion welded at all corners, including drilling of holes for fixing hardware's and drainage of water etc. After fixing frame the gap between frame and adjacent finished wall shall be filled with weather proof silicon sealent over backer rod of required size and of approved quality, all complete as per approved drawing & direction of Engineer-in-Charge. (Single / double glass panes, wire mesh and silicon sealent shall be paid separately) Note: For uPVC frame and sash extruded profiles minus 5% tolerance in dimension i.e. in depth & width of profile shall be acceptable. Variation in profile dimension in higher side shall be accepted but no extra payment on this account shall be made.
Three track three panels sliding window with fly proof S.S wire mesh (Two nos. glazed & one no. wire mesh panels) made of (big series) frame 116 x 45 mm & sash 46 x 62 mm both having wall thickness of 2.3 ± 0.2 mm and single glazing bead / double glazing bead of appropriate dimension. (Area of window above 1.75 sqm).
TECHNICAL SPECIFICATION / WORK METHODOLOGY FOR MICRO-CONCRETE/ NON-SHRINK CONCRETE 1. The affected concrete member shall be cleaned thoroughly by wire brush cleaning and washed with copious amount of water by high pressure water-jetting. 2. Exposed reinforcement bars – if corroded shall be cleaned by manual wire-brush cleaning and applied with Concresive ZRi – Epoxy Zinc rich primer or NITO ZINC (fosroc) as per the Technical and application recommendations of the manufacturer and allowed to dry for atleast 24 hours. 3. Supplying and Applying Concresive 1414 / Nitobond EP – Epoxy based Bonding Agent over the above prepared Concrete using a stiff brush as per the Technical and Application recommendations of the manufacturer. 4. Supplying and Pouring Emaco S46T / Rendroc HB2 – Cementitious Non-shrink, Micro Concrete into the erected formwork, for a nominal thickness of 50mm and whilst the above Bonding agent is tacky, and as per the Technical and Application recommendations of the manufacturer. 5. The formwork/shuttering shall be removed the next day and cured by placing wet hessain bags over the treated member.

Providing and applying cement based putty M/s Birla or equivalent of upto 2 mm thickness over plastered surface to prepare the surface even and smooth etc complete
Exterior Painting: (Fresh work including complete scraping / surface preparation, as appropriate base (Primer) coat and to two or more coats). Applying exterior paint of approved colour, make, brand and product at the approved rate of surface coverage of painting (As per Annexure A.1.1). The exterior paint shall be applied over dry surface after complete scraping and removal of all loose or defective paint or powder residue using mechanical methods with zero dust vaccum technology followed with high pressure jet washing and sealing the surface with necessary exterior base coat or primer before application of top coat of exterior paint. The contractor shall also carryout necessary surface preparation including removal of loose plastering, patch plastering, crack filling, micro concreting, aplication of dampproof coating and making good the wall surface etc., wherever required before applying base or primer coat. The contractor should ensure complete covering of floors using tarpaulin /plastic sheet while taking up the work. The work shall be executed as per the detailed specification and special conditions mentioned in the Annexure 1. The rate quoted shall be inclusive of charges towards all labours, material, transport, scaffolding, safety arrangements, personal protective equiments (PPE), tools and plants etc., by excluding the cost of waterproofing, attending the lekages and major civil repair works if any. The paint manufacturer shall inspect the work in every stage, submit inspection/field test report, certify the product/applicaion and give 10 years Guarantee.
Interior Painting: (Two or more coats over a primer coat including complete scraping other surface preparation like removal of loose paint residuals, damged plastering, repairs to plaster, white cement based (JK/Birla) touchup putty/ primer and making good the wall surface etc.,): Applying interior paint of approved colour, make, brand and product at the approved rate of surface coverage of painting as per Annexure A.1.3. The interior paint shall be applied over dry surface after complete scraping and removal of all loose or defective paint or powder residue using mechanical methods with zero dust vaccum technology followed sealing the surface with a coat of approved interior primer before application of top coat of interior paint. The contractor shall also carryout necessary surface preparation including removal of loose plastering, patch plastering, crack filling, micro concreting, application of damp proof coating and making good the wall surface etc. wherever required before applying primer coat. The contractor should ensure complete covering of floors using tarpaulin/plastic sheet while taking up the work. The work shall be executed as per the detailed specification and special conditions. The rate quoted shall be inclusive of charges towards all labours, material, transport, scaffolding, safety arrangements, personal protective equiments (PPE), tools and plants etc.,
Enamel painting for doors / windows / wall panels (Two or more coats including a coat of primer) on both exterior and interior surface of wooden and steel joineries using approved colour, make and brand of synthetic enamel paint two or more coats as perr Annexure A.1.4. (Top coat enamel coverage not less than 8.83sqm er litre for two coats over a coat of primer as per manufacturers secifications). The contractor should ensure complete covering of floors using tarpaulin / plastic sheet while taking up the work. The work shall be ececuted as per the detailed specifications. The rate quoted shall be inclusive of charges towards all labour, material, transport, scaffolding, safety arrangements, personal pritective equipments (PPE), tools and plants etc.
