Taking down copper/aluminium point wiring (light, fan, socket or power) complete, including fixture and fittings such as switches, ceiling roses, pendants, regulators, bell, buzzer, sockets etc. removing materials away from site for taking credit from contractor as per rates in Schedule of credi and making good disturbed surfaces of walls, floors, etc. complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge at site.

Note: 2 run of 4 Sqmm cable and 1 run of 4 Sqmm cable along with conduit altogether shall be measured as one unit.

Taking down ceiling fans 1400mm / 1200mm sweep, sealing cable end, dismantling blade & removing the same away from site to workshop for repairs including replacement of defective parts such as bearing, rubber reel, down rod, canopy etc complete and refixing on same location or other location of any type / make and size carefully on fan hook, including transporting of ceiling fans from any location inside army area to MES E/M store yard and back after repairing, including provn of NEW twisted three core flexible wire upto 0.7 mtrs long of suitable size (ISI marked), complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge at site. NOTE:- (i) Defective/unserviceable parts replaced will be paid separately under respective item of Sch 'A' as Supply only. (ii) Labour element required for replacing defective parts of ceiling fans is included in the rate quoted for above item.

M & L for painting of ceiling fan complete with blades, in situ with synthetic enamel paint by spraying including filling cavities with one coat filler after cleaning all dust etc. complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge at site.

Rewinding Ceiling fan by cutting the existing copper winding of ceiling fan 1200/1400 mm capacity and make any type, with super enamelled copper wire of suitable size mathing the existing including all insulating materials varnishing and neating complete including satisfactory testing of fan on full load to entire satisfaction of Engineer-in-Charge complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge at site.

NOTE FOR BOQ ITEM NO 35 & 36:- Old unserviceable / defective copper winding obtained from above item shall be recorded by BOO for credit from contractor at rates mentioned in Schedule of credit

S&F only fan bearing of size 6201/6202 suitable for ceiling fan 1200/1400mm sweep complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge at site.

Supply only rubber reels including shackle clamp, bolts, nuts, washers split pins of appropriate size as required complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge at site.

Supply only plastic canopy upper & lower of any size and make of ceiling fan fixed with suitable size of screws complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge at site.

Taking down exhaust fan of size 200mm to 400mm sweep of any make and removing the same away from site to workshop for repairs including replacement of worn out/defective unserviceable parts (wherever necessary) such as bearing, capacitors, condensor spacer etc. stripping of fan washing thoroughly of bearing/bush by petrol, washing fan blade body etc thoroughly, greasing, assembling the fan complete and refixing on same location or other location of any type / make and size carefully, including transporting of exhaust fans from any location inside army area to MES E/M store yard and back after repairing, including provn of NEW twisted twin core flexible wire upto 0.7 mtrs long of suitable size (ISI marked), complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge at site. NOTE:- (i) Defective/unserviceable parts replaced will be paid separately under respective item of Sch 'A' as Supply only. (ii) Labour element required for replacing defective parts of ceiling fans is included in the rate quoted for above item.

M&L for Disconnecting the main power supply to distribution board, re-alignment and re-connecting and proper dressing of SPN / TPN / VTPN MCB's / MCCB's / DBs of pre-connected MCBs by changing screw of DB cover, earth wire and other necessary connecting items and dressing of wires with the help of cable tie inside the distribution box including cleaning and doing all repair work including scraping and painting as required and alterations required to make the DB's fully operational complete and reconneting to main power supply after completion complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge at site. NOTE:- (i) Defective / unserviceable parts replaced will be paid separately under respective item of Sch 'A'. (ii) Labour element required for re-alignment and re-connecting and proper dressing of distribution board is included in the rate quoted for above item. (ii) Minor parts or accessories such as wires for connections, screws, tapes, lugs, locking arrangement, painting, welding / soldering / fabrication repairs to DB's is included in the rate quoted for above item. (iv) MCB's / MCCB's to be provided in DB's if required shall be measured and paid seperately under respective items in this Schedule.
