Excavation in trenches in soft/ loose soil n.exc 1.5m wide and n.exc. 1.5m in depth for poles, stay, cable, pipe etc. or for shafts, wells, cesspits, manholes, etc. n. exc 10 sq m on plan and n exc 1.5 m in depth including taking out brick for cable protection, sand cushioning and getting out all as specified.

All as per item No.01 above but depth exc 1.5m and n. exc. 3m all as specified and directed.

Returning, filling in, including spreading, leveling, watering and well ramming in layers each n.exc 25 cm thick in soft loose soil all as specified.

Removal of excavated soil to a distance not exceeding 50m and depositing where directed at a level not exceeding 1.5m above the starting point complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and lay brick common burnt sub class "B" old size for protection of under ground cable laid in trenches complete all as specified.

M & L for sand cushioning in trenches using fine sand to under ground cable, laid in two layers complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for road cutting including excavation returning filling in spreading leveling , well ramming in layers, soling with broken boulders/ stones obtained from demolition of existing road, 7.5cm thick coarse aggregate obtained from demolition of existing WBM of road, watering and ramming, 40mm thick PCC 1:2:4 type B1 using 20mm graded stone aggregate for road patch repair work, Section/ cross section area of cutting shall be as specified and as directed by Engineer -In Charge.

M&L in repair GI tubing light grade for cable protection fixed along the pole/wall/ under road of size 100mm bore with necessary clamps, nuts and bolts complete all as specified and directed. Note for item No. 9 to 11: Clamps, nuts and bolts will be measured and paid separately under Item No. 12 here-in-after.

M & L aluminium conductor steel reinforced (ACSR) over size of ferret, weasels, mink, beaver etc fixing stretching and jumpering joining with aluminium wire including dismantling existing complete all as specified and directed.

M&L galvanised steel wire of 4 SWG dia as earth wire for overhead line fixing of the same on the pole including dismantling existing complete all as specified and directed.

Supply, laying, jointing and testing XLPE insulated armoured (under ground) heavy duty electic cable with stranded aluminum conductor 1100 volts grade of cross sectional area 300 Sqmm 3.5 core laid in trenches/ ducts/ through pipes/ in floor/ road/ along the pole including finding out the fault in cable and taking out faulty cable complete all as specified & directed by Engr-in-Charge. Notes : (a) Excavation earth work, road cutting, brick for cable protection and sand cushioning and joints shall be measured & paid separately. (2) The fault should be rectified within 2 days of time frame after informed to the contractor/ contractor rep by telephonically/ Whatsapp msg or letter by JE/ Engineer-in-Charge, failing which Rs. 500/- per day will be levied to the contractor as penalty.

M&L for painting the PCC pole of 5 Nos bands/ strips of 30cm wide each with two coats of synthetic enamel paint (Black and Yellow) at a distance of 30cm from the plinth block upto 1500mm height and marking/ sign writing of pole number and feeders locations of pole with thick synthetic enamel paint (white) including all MS fitting street light brackets MS flate angle iron GI pipe etc. to match the existing poles complete all as specified and directed

M&L for fault detection in damage UG Cable by using cable fault detector/locator to accuracyh of 2 meter for various location in the area under GE Tibri for UG Cable of any size and any type upto 1.1 KV grade including excavation and earth work in any type of Strata 4mx2mx0.60 m to visually inspect/repair the damage cable when and where directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Note :- (i) The fault shall be rectified within 2 days of time frame after informed to the contractor/ contractor rep by telephonically/ whats app msg or letter failing which 500/- per day per complaint will be levied on the contractor as penalty. (iii) The straight through joint will be measured and paid separately under relevant items of the contract.

Taking out of faulty LT cable of any size finding out the fault in cable and relaying, jointing, tesing of serviceable LT cable complete all as specified & directed by Engr-in-Charge. Note :- (1) Excavation earth work, road cutting, brick for cable protection and sand cushioning and joints shall be measured & paid separately. (2) The fault should be rectified within 2 days of time frame after informed to the contractor/ contractor rep by telephonically/ Whatsapp msg or letter by JE/ Engineer-in-Charge, failing which Rs. 500/- per day will be levied to the contractor as penalty.

Supply and fixing in repair heavy duty PVC spiral Z type 13mm dia. spacer for LT 1100 Volt Grade suitable for 5 ACSR conductor of size required at site complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and fixing in repair heavy duty PVC spiral Z type 13mm dia.spacer for LT 1100 Volt Grade suitable for 3 ACSR conductor of size required at site complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and fixing in repair heavy duty PVC spiral Z type 13mm dia.spacer for LT 1100 Volt Grade suitable for 2 ACSR conductor of size required at site complete all as specified and directed.

Material & labour for pruning the branches of broken tree any grith on the ACSR conductor LT/HT due to strom or any situation and shall be thrown away approximately 500m away, after that jointing and restreching the broken ACSR conductor all as specified and directed by Engineer -in- Charge. Note :- (i) Contractor's quoted rate shall be deemed to include to provide ladder, transport, tools and eqpt for pruning the branches. (ii) The complaint shall be done within one day after intimation by JE E/M / Engineer -in- charge on phone call, whats app msg or through letter failing which penalty of Rs 500/- per day per complaint will be levied on contractor. (iii) Restreching of conductor will be measured and paid separately.

S&F LT cable sleeves with colour coding (Red, Yellow, Blue and Black) suitable for 1100 volt grade 3 ½/4 core XLPE, armoured, aluminium conductor of cable size 10sqmm to 25 sqmm all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge ( Note :- Sleeves length shall not be less than 450mm for each phase).

M& L for magnesium sulphate for using in earthing all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge.

A Schedule of Credit for old/ unserviceable demolished/ dismantled items has been catered for in the tender. The Schedule of Credit is pre-priced by MES. The final amount of the tender shall be arrived at after deducting the total amount of Schedule of Credit from the total amount of BoQ as per General Summary sheet catered for after Schedule of Credit.
