Eligibility Criteria

Tenders from Joint ventures are not acceptable.

Bidders shall not be under a declaration of ineligibility for corrupt and fraudulent practices issued by Government of Karnataka

Bidders shall ensure upload of relevant document certifying his/her status as Scheduled Caste/ Scheduled Tribe/other reserved category as prescribed in the tender document.

It shall be the responsibility of the Bidder to ensure credit of Tender Processing Fee and EMD into the respective receiving bank accounts of e-Procurement on or before the last date and time of bid submission.

EMD Payments through e-Payment mode shall be made as one single transaction and payments made in part are liable for rejection.

The bidder is required to ensure browser compatibility of the computer well in advance to the last date and time for receipt of tenders.The departments shall not be responsible for non-accessibility of e-Procurement portal due to internet connectivity issues and technical glitches at bidders end

Bidder shall pay Contract Management Module processing fees of 0.025% of the contact value Min Rs.500/- & Max Rs.7500/-soon after contract has been issued to bidder.

Conditional tenders will not be accepted

The tenderer shall bear all costs associated with the preparation and submission of his tender and the employer will in no case be responsible and liable for these costs

The employer reserves the rights to reject one or all Tender without assigning any reasons

The employer is not responsible for any delay in accessing E-Procurement Portal

Royalty on construction materials and other taxes will be deducted as per prevailing Govt orders

As per Government order LD/300/LET/2006 Bangalore dated 1.01.2007 nad Government letter no PW/134/BMS/2007 dated 27.07.2007, a sum amounting to 1% of the bill amount will be deducted towards constructions labour welfare fund

All the formats prescribed in the bid document shall be filled by the tenderer in complete manner otherwise it will be rejected

All scanned documents to be uploaded shall be in original and the Executive Engineer reserves the right to verify the documents before approval

Materials required for the work shall be procured by the tenderer themselves and should got tested by the quality control authority before use on the work

Contractor should carryout additional test required to test the suitability of materials.

All safety precautions, warning signs, night illumination, reflectors, deployment of security guards has to be ensured so that no untoward incident happens on account of negligence or any project activity. Contractor should indemnify the client to that extent.

All precautions should be taken by the contractor so that there are no damages to such public/ private properties. If any damage is caused, it has to be rectified at his own risk and cost.

Contractor should follow strictly the prevailing rules of labour act.

At the time of agreement, the successfull bidder/contractor should submit proposed methodology and programme of construction backed with equipment and material planning, & deployment duly supported with broad calculation and quality management , plan, proposed to be adopted justifying their capability of execution , completion of the work and cast flow forecasts as per technical specifications and within the stipulated period of completion

The contractors assessed available tender capacity will be calculated as prescribed in tender document Attached.

The intending contractors are requested to note that they should abide by the detailed instructions and conditions contained in the Standard Tender documents attached.

Security deposit for an amount equivalent to 5% of the contract price shall be deducted in every running bill. However, in case of first and final bill the entire security deposit will be deducted from the final bill. and Within 20 days of receipt of the Letter of Acceptance, the successful Tenderer shall deliver to the Employer, a additional security deposit for unbalanced tenders for an amount equal to the amount put to tender as per CSR minus quoted amount.

If the Contractors is a firm, then all the partners or members of the firm shall belong to the same Caste as the case may be.

Contractors should be registered with KPWD Class III and above Registration

To qualify for award of this contract, each tenderer should give all details and documents as per K.W-3

Work should be carried out as per K/W-3 STD attached with tender .

The period of completion of this work is 4 Months

The eligible contractor should maintain the work FOR ONE YEAR AFTER THE SUCCESSFUL COMPLETION OF THE PROJECT

Contractor shall bound to comply the prevailing rules and regulations with regard to the EPF Contribution rules and any modifications thereof before and after execution of agreement

The FSD deducted in RA bills will be refunded only after successful completion of Defect Liability Period

Contractors has to submit their labour EPF details with every Running Bill

The contractor belonging to Scheduled tribe ST castes should upload Caste Certificate issued by Competent Authority.

If the contractor is a firm, then all the partners or members of the firm shall belong to the Scheduled tribe ST castes as the case may be

The contractor belonging to Scheduled tribe ST castes shall be domicile of the State of Karnataka for more than 10 years-Should upload Certificate issued by Competent Authority.

GST shall be paid to the tendered amount separately

The increase in GST shall not be paid in the extended period of contract for which the Contractor alone is responsible for delay as determined by the authority while granting the extension of time

Tenderers who meet the above specified minimum qualifying criteria, will only be qualified, if their available tender capacity is more than the total tender value. The available tender capacity will be calculated as under : Assessed available tender capacity:(AxNx5.00 -B ) should be greater than or equal to Rs.63.53lakhs where A-Maximum value of works executed in any one year during the last five years taking into account the completed as well as works in progress. (updated to 2024-25 price level) N-Number of years prescribed for completion of the works for which tenders are invited-6 Months. B-Value, at 2024-25 price level, of existing commitments and on-going works to be completed during the next Months. (Period of completion of the works for which tenders are invited)
