CERTAIN REPAIR AND MAINT OF SEWER NETWORK, SEPTIC TANKS, SOAKAGE WELLS, DRAINAGE NETWORK FOR COOK HOUSES, DRAIN PIPES AND ALLIED WORKS AT RAKHMUTHI MIL STN AND ITS OUTSTATIONS UNDER GE (S) AKHNOOR.

Removing of manholes covers (any type) and dewatering/ pumping/ bailing out of contaminated water including cleaning of sludge and night soil from septic tanks of any capacity and depth alongwith inlet/ outlet chambers etc by vehicle mounted sewage suction machine including pumping out the contaminated water in open drain/ low lying area to a distance exceeding 50mtr and removing the sludge, silt etc. (solid waste materials) to outside of Unit/ Cantonment area and putting back manhole covers in original position including spreading bleaching powder on top of septic tanks to make it hygienically fit, complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-In-Charge. Note:- (i) Actual quantity of sludge/ waste material only shall be measured after dewatering the septic tanks only, the sludge shall be carried away in the sewage carrying tankers, of minimum capacity 7000 Ltrs each. (ii) Cost of dewatering/ pumping out of contaminated water from septic tanks shall deemed be included in quoted rates.

Demolition of brickwork or stone/ boulder masonry, built in cement mortar including all quoins, arches, pillars, etc, but excluding ashlar facings, dressed stonework and precast concrete articles, complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for brick work with sub class 'B' bricks old size straight or curved in plane exc 6m mean radius built in cement mortar 1:4, complete all as specified and directed.

Description all as per serial item No. 3 here in above but except bricks, complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for brickwork with sub class ‘B’ bricks in one brick thick honey comb walling, built in cement mortar 1:6, complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-In-Charge.

M&L for rendering 10mm thick on fair faces of brick work or concrete surfaces, in cement mortar 1:4, including mixing water proofing compound @ 3% by weight in cement, rendering is to be finished even and smooth (without using extra lime or cement), complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-In-Charge. Note 1: Cost of water proofing compound shall deemed included in quoted rates. Note 2: Cost of working under foul conditions and their possible hazards, shall deem to be included in quoted rates.

Demolition of cement concrete (reinforced) in any position and location and including cleaning, removal and disposal of rubbish/ waste materials from premises, complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for reinforced cement concrete M-20, 1:1.5:3, type A-1, (using 20mm graded crushed stone aggregate), design mix, as in slabs supported on walls, beams and columns in floors, roofs, landings, balconies, canopies, deck slabs and in shelves and the like, complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-In-Charge. Note: Necessary form work shall deem to be included in the quoted rates and nothing extra shall be paid on this account.

M&L for precast reinforced cement concrete M-20, 1:1.5:3, type A-1, (using 20mm graded crushed stone aggregate), design mix, as in landings, cover slabs (for man holes etc.) chullah hoods, chajjas, water troughs and similar articles with plain faces as specified in clause No- 4.11.16 of SSR Part-I (2009), set in cement mortar 1:4, complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-In-Charge.

S&F for mild steel TMT bars 10mm dia and over, cut to length, bent to shape required, including cranking, bending spirally hooping for columns, hooking ends and binding with and including mild steel wire (annealed) not less than 0.9 mm dia.,complete all as specified and as directed.
