Servicing/ overhauling of self starter of DG set 12 Volt of cap 10 KVA to 75 KVA i.e. opening, checking and cleaning of self including replacement of carbon bushes if required and making it free from dust and reassembling after replacement of UNSV worn out parts if required for smooth operation and reinstallation to DG set of any make/model complete as per satisfaction of Engineer-in-Charge. Note: Cost of replacement of carbon bushes is included in the rates quoted against this item however other spares required for making self serviceable will be paid separetely in relevant items of schedule hereinafter.

Supplying and fixing as in replacement of burn out solenoid switch as per site requirement and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

M & L for rewinding of burn out armature of self starter as per site requirement and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Taking out of radiator/ aftercooler if required from DG set 10 KVA to 75 KVA of any make/model and cleaning of radiator by removing of dust/oil particles and cleaning of copper tubes by using suitable cleaning agent for any obstacles inside the tube and refixing it complete all as directed by Engr-in-Charge.

All as per item No 7 above but for DG set 125 to 160 KVA .

M & L for disconnecting and taking down the leaking radiator from DG set engine and transporation to civil workshop for repairs, cleaning the complete radiator for detecting the leakage and repairing the leaking portion (Tubes/fins/tank etc) by soldering/brazing, cleaning of all water tubes with suitable cleansing agent & water pressure & removing the complete sludge and dust from inside the tank, replacing worn out hose pipes & clamps etc, shifting & refixing at original site and testing for proper working, for the DG set of capacity 10 KVA to 160 KVA, complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

M & L for disconnecting and taking down the defective Charging Alternator from the DG set engine, shifting to civil workshop for repairs, strip opening to remove unserviceable parts, repairing by replacing of armature coil, carbon bush, field coil, clutch patti bearing, refixing magnetic steel laminates, replacing pole head and pole shoe, bearings of shaft ball/roller/sleeve type, and other related items of the assembly as required to make it serviceable, re-assembling and refxing the same on original position and testing complete for the DG set of capacity 10 KVA to 75 KVA, complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

All as per item No 13 above but for the DG set of capacity 125 KVA to 250 KVA .

All as per item No 13 above but for the DG set of capacity 320 KVA to 500 KVA

Material and labour as in replacement controller display as per model at site for DG Set 62.5 KVA to 125 KVA capacity of any make for proper functioning of DG set through controller and connected wiring etc complete all as specified and directed.

Material and labour as in replacement controller display as per model at site for DG Set 200 KVA to 320 KVA capacity of any make for proper functioning of DG set through controller and connected wiring etc complete all as specified and directed.

Material and labour for overhauling of all injecter nozzles including all as per site requirment, washers etc and pressure setting as required and replacement of timing shaft with coupling for DG sets of 320 KVA to 500 KVA capacity, complete all as specified and directed. .

M&L for draining out old coolant from the engine radiators of DG Sets of any capacity and make, flushing the radiator tubes with water and refixing the drain plug properly after filling the complete radiator with new pre mixed coolant, complete all as specified and directed. Supply and fix as in replacement battery leads set for battery of any capacity installed at various power Houses appx 1.5 Mtr long, PVC insulated multistranded copper conductor of standard size as per site, duly fixed brass clamps, copper lugs for connections from DG battery to self starter on DG Sets of any capacity all as specified and directed.

Supply and fixing as in replacement heavy duty brass terminals (as per approved sample) suitable for battery terminals complete all as specified and as directed.

M & L for cleaning the in-built diesel tanks of 320 KVA to 500 KVA capacity DG set by emptying the tank using suction pump of suitable capacity, washing the internal walls & bottom with diesel to remove any dust / deposits etc complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for Shifting of 10 KVA to 160 KVA Canopy type DG Set complete with all its attachments (by dismantling and refixing of its sensitive parts as required) using suitable mechanical pulling / lifting devices / cranes etc from its original location and relocating to a new position within 1 KM by disconnection of its power supply cables from its existing location and reconnection at new location by providing all requisite connection materials and all as directed by Engr-in-charge.

M&L for Shifting of 200 KVA to 500 KVA Canopy type DG Set complete with all its attachments (by dismantling and refixing of its sensitive parts as required) using suitable mechanical pulling / lifting devices / cranes etc from its original location and relocating to a new position within 1 KM by disconnection of its power supply cables from its existing location and reconnection at new location by providing all requisite connection materials and all as directed by Engr-in-charge.

Supply and laying as in replacement 80 mm bore tube "light grade" galvanised iron pipe laid in trenches or fixed along poles with mild steel clamps or protection to GI earth strip/cable, complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in- Charge.
