Treatment of Expansion joint------------------- (a) Preparation of edges :- Cleaning of the surface to remove all loose laitance once the prepared edges are cured by Mechanical or Manual means, Filling of the depressions with compatible thixotropic mortar (> M30) complete after bonding agent, Removal of bulging/fines prodrated if any, Treatment of Cracks with Punning of SBR mixed with Cement and injection of Polymer cement slurry if required. (b) Polyurethane back up rod :- Providing and laying of Polyurethane back up rod of size greater than existing width of the joint in compressed way by the loader pulley/stick etc as per the requirement of site or as per the instruction of Engineer In- Charge. (c) Filling of polyurea Sealent: Providing and Laying of polyurea Joint sealant of reputed make as approved by EIC in the prepared joints up to 50mm x 25 mm thickness within the joints, which if cured in an hour is ready for trafficable complete as per the Manufacturers specifications. (d) Application of Fex Coat: Providing and laying of Single component Aromatic 100% Solid Polyurethane FLEXCOAT or equivalent in 1.5 mm thickness as self levelling system over the treated and cured Expansion Joints either side 500mm with 1200% Elongation completely as per the manufacturers specifications. (e) Protection cover Providing and placing of 300 width x 2.0mm thick GI Sheet by fixing one end with steel screw and other end fixed thru slotted hole in the sheet.

Providing and fixing double scaffolding system (cup lock type) on the exterior side, up to seven story height made with 40 mm dia M.S. tube 1.5 m centre to centre, horizontal & vertical tubes joining with cup & lock system with M.S. tubes, M.S. tube challies, M.S. clamps and M.S. staircase system in the scaffolding for working platform etc. and maintaining it in a serviceable condition for the required duration as approved and removing it there after .The scaffolding system shall be stiffened with bracings, runners, connection with the building etc wherever required for inspection of work at required locations with essential safety features for the workmen etc. complete as per directions and approval of Engineer in- charge .The elevational area of the scaffolding shall be measured for payment purpose .The payment will be made once irrespective of duration of scaffolding
