| 1.10 | i) Door to Door Collection:- Daily collecting the domestic garbage on door to door basis from residential and non-residential buildings from the dust bins provided to the residents, source segregation and conveying to the composting yard inside the Township.
The rate quoted shall be inclusive of collection, disposal and processing of solid waste per House per day throughout the contract period. The tenderer shall engage minimum 30 labour, 1 Supervisor and 1 tractor to carryout this work daily for a period of 4 hrs as per specification. After carrying out this work, the tenderer shall engage the same labour force for open area cleaning for which payment will be made for separately under relevant item.
The schedule quantity is average occupied houses which shall be considered for payment invariably through out the contract period and tenderer shall quote rate accordingly.
Tenderer shall note that actual number of occupied houses to be collected will vary to an extent of ±100 houses for which no payment shall be made or deducted on account of variation. Beyond this deviations limit payment will be made for actually collected number of houses.

Open areas shall be cleared at least once in a week throughout the contract period. The unit rate of One operation means, rate for engaging minimum 15 Labours, 1 supervisor and one tractor per day to carryout this item. (i.e., 310 days x 2.0 operations = 620 operations)

f) Sanitary land fill shall be restricted to non-recyclable, non-biodegradable and non-reactive inert wastes to the extent possible.

Labour charges for cleaning the external area of vacant quarters as and when required by cleaning, removing cobwebs, sweeping, picking up the plastics, polyethene papers, garden wastes, dry leaves and all other waste materials conveying and disposing the waste etc., all complete as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

General Information for guidance of tenderers
Schedule of Quantities
The schedule of quantities is to be read for the purpose of pricing in conjunction with the special conditions, general rules for the guidance of contractors, conditions of contract, specifications, drawings, schedule of supply of materials and the appendices.
The prices inserted in the schedule of quantities shall be inclusive of value of the work described including all cost and expenses, which may be required in and for the construction of the work described together with the general risks, liabilities and obligations not forth or implied in the documents on which the tender is to be based.
The quantities stated are to be considered approximate only and the unit prices entered in the schedule of quantities and prices shall apply only to the actual quantities measured in the completed work in accordance with the specifications.
All the materials other than those shown in schedule of supply of materials in section VII are to be arranged by the contractor and his rates should account for the same.
Rates quoted for all items in this tender shall include cost of all materials including cement and steel. Department will not supply any materials other than materials stipulated in Section - VII of the tender and as such the rates quoted must be all inclusive.
