Aluminium composite panels in exteranal face, column/wall cladding of approved make confirming to ASTM standard/specification of alloy 3000 series of higher series comprising vrigin polyethylene core sanwitched between two skins of 0.50mm thick special alloyed aluminium sheet to have overall thickness of 4mm with exterior coating PVDF paint. Fixing of surface cladding to mansory/concrete faces/steel structure , including appropriate and adequate frame work of aluminium tubular sections 50x25x3mm and 25x38x3mm to fix the composite panel to the frame, straight/slope and curvilinear profile and shapes including all accessories and all incidental work. The work shall be complete as per specification and directions of Engineer-in-charge.
Design , supply and fixing structural glazing system consisting of powder coated aluminium and glass of approved make , aluminium frame work fabricated out of heavy duty aluminium extruded profile powder coated with durable thermo setting polyester powder coating by electrostatic sparaying and hard stoved is not less than 60 micron thickness to comply with BIS 6496:1994( 1991) and AAMA 2603-98 standard as per approved shade. All aluminium members and profile shall be of AC-25 grade as specifications. The aluminium members shall be protected with protection tapes all around the profile for safety against external scratches at site. ( protection tape shall be removed only at a time of handing over as per the instruction of project management.) The anchoring/ bracing of the glazing to the RCC slabs / beams / columns shall be done with required number of non corrosive galvanized extended bracketes of approved design ( galvanizing to be done conforming to IS:4759-1996 up to610 gms per sqm , 80-90 microns thickness ) with approved dash fastners of the minimum 12 mm dia and depth of minimum 100 mm , in the concrete and stainless steel bolts including providing and fixing aluminium of varoius thickness to adjust the beam level and line variation.The anchoring system has been design to with stand the dead load of structural wall as well as stresses due to wind pressure etc. The glazing frame shall be aligned for each vertical mullion for the entire height and each transom for the entire width horizontally by laser beam equipment to ensure 100% x axis and y axis alignment. to make the joint water and air tight the glazing frame work provided with approved in built ventilation and drainage system. all the joints of structural glazing system and periphery , of glass shall be properly sealed with specified weather silicon. the details of in built ventilation and drainage system should be submitted by the contractor before execution.EPDM gaskets of suitable profile to accomodate glasses in all vision EPDM gaskets of suitable profile to accomodate glasses in all vision area shall be provided at all glazing area to make the glazing water and areas shall be provided at all glazing area to make the glazing water and air tight. including the glass to be fixed at the outer side of the aluminium frame with structural silicon sealant ( SG 18/ DC995) and mechanical support with pressure plates and cover plates ( the structural silicon bite size shall not be less than 8 mm / as per the structural requirments as per manufactures recommendation.) expansion joits gap for mullion shall be minium 15 to 20 mm to be provided where ever required , filled with expansion joints sealant from wackert , dow corning DC 789/ Sikka or equivalent. All screws , washers used shall be only stainless steel 316 grades etc.. complete as per direction of EIC. Preparation and submission of architectrural drawings based on AAI preliminary drawings and carrying out structural designs for the building ( rotunda, corridor for bay no :7 & platform for bay no:13 ) based on the directions of EIC. The design should be done in concrete or steel using approved material in schedule of contract. For bay no.13 the platform design will be in structural steel and for bay no.7 the rotunda will be in concrete and corridor in structural steel as per direction of EIC.The design should be considering future expansion if directed by engineer-in- charge. All structural designs and 'good for construction' drawing submitted should be vetted in writing by IIT/NIT/ Government engineering colleges. Bill of quanties as per the approved structural drawing should be submitted along with drawings before execution for approval. Three sets of architectural and structural design drawings and one set of design calculations in hard copies along with soft copies of design and drawing are to be submitted to AAI. Soil investigation will be made available by AAI ,if directed by EIC further to the site visit of the structural consultant.
