SCHEDULE A BOQ

Excavating in trenches not exceeding 1.5 m wide and not exceeding 1.5m deep in hard/dense soil and getting out for taking down/laying of pipes

Returning, refilling including spreading levelling watering and well ramming in layers not exceeding 25cms thick in hard/dense soil

Removing excavated materials not exceeding 50m distance and depositing where directed at level not exceeding 1.5 m above the starting point

Rectification of existing defective flanged joints with rubber or fibre gasket complete with necessary nuts, bolts and washers for 150 mm dia GI/DI/MS pipes complete all as directed. Note:- a) quoted rates are inclusive of cutting of GI/DI/MS Pipes, jointing materials and preparation of new flanged sockets and refixing the same at existing place. (b) Necessary excavation shall be measured and paid separately under respective items of BOQ

Making arrangement to flush out the existing pipe line of any type 110 to 150mm bore and upto 100m length, applying 4.5 N/sqmm pressure kg/sq cm pressure to remove scalings/ sludges/ other blocking materials to make smooth flow of water including testing all as specified and directed.

Making arrangement to flush out the existing pipe line of any type 160 to 200 mm bore and upto 100m length, applying 4.5 N/sqmm pressure kg/sq cm pressure to remove scalings/ sludges/ other blocking materials to make smooth flow of water including testing all as specified and directed.

Note for item 6 & 7 :- (i) The Contractor is deemed to arrange necessary tools and equipments, removing or alteration of fittings from existing pipe lines, arragement of plugging devices, etc to build up specified pressure required to wash out the pipes. This will be inclusive in quoted rate.

(ii) Excavation and earth work required will be measured and paid seperately.

(iii) The flushing out will be carried out with fresh filled water of well only duly chlorinated with specified sodium hypochlorite solution to disinfect the pipe lines from all pathogens and Coliform organisms.This will be inclusive in quoted rate.

Cleaning of valve pit chamber for sluice/gate valve of 50/80/100/150/200/ size by removing mud/ grass/ sludge/ other waste materials from the chamber and from surroundings upto 1mtr distance, carryout petty cement repairs with cement mortar 1:4, apply one coat of white wash on cemented surfaces and one coate of synthetic paint on steel surfaces complete to make an operator friendly valve chamber complete as specified and directed. Note :- Periodicity and locations of valve chambers will be given as per requirement by the Engineer-in-Charge.

Taking down defective centrifugal pump set 60 HP by disconnecting the pump from motor after unscrewing nuts/ bolts of coupling, foundation, suction pipe delivery pipes and shifting of pump to workshop for repair/ servicing, comprising strip opening of pump, replacement of any defective parts, carrying out necessary lathe work, re-assembling and shifting from workshop to site, re-installation at location as directed by Engr-in-Charge, testing on full load capacity at least for 8 hrs, complete all as specified and as directed. (Supply of spare parts shall be measured and paid for separately under respective items here-in-after). Make of Pump : Kirloskar Note :- (a) The spares shall be measured and paid seperately in the relevent items given below. (b) Cost of labour for replacement of spares and transportation are deemed to be incl in the quoted rate. (c) The pumpset shall be spared for one week for repair from the date of complaint given by AGE/ JE E/M regarding breakdown. The Contractor is responsible for making alternate arrangement of pump set in case of time required more than one week. (d) In case services affected due to delay in repair of pump set, a penalty of Rs 1000 per day will be levied from the contractor. (e) Please note that this penalty is exclusively other than the condition 56 of IAFW-2249 and shall be treated as interim condition of the contract. (f) The decision of the Accepting Officer in this regard shall be final and binding.

M&L PCC 1:1½:3 type A0 (using 12.5 mm graded stone aggregate) as in floor finishing finished even and smooth without using extra cement complete all as specified and directed

Demolition of cement concrete (unreinforced) in ground floors and pavings not exceeding 15 cm thickness (below or above ground level) complete all as specified and directed.

M& L for Compound girders and stanchions, lattice girders, aerial masts, staging for water tanks and the like including caps, bases, splices etc. built up from two or more beam or channel sections or angles with plates, including all lattice bars, stiffeners, gusset plates, etc with Fe 410 -W (Gde- E- 250) including dismantling of existing steel complete all as specified and directed.

Cleaning/ overhauling of squirrel cage induction motor by dismantling stator and rotor assembly, carryout necessary tesing of windings to findout any core loss in windings, test of insulation resistance, etc. Applying of proper insulation material for strengthening of insulation, cleaning the casing and slots with wire brush, washing out dust and carbon particles with proper chemical solution, replacement unserviceable bearing, bush, carryout re-alignment of crank shaft re-assembling stator and rotor assemblies, testing complete all as specified and directed for capacity upto 60 HP. Note:- (i) Rewinding of stator and rotor if required will be measured and paid seperately. (ii) Cost of Transportation to and from the local workshop is deemed to be incl in the quoted rate.

Rewinding of stator core with proper gauge and amount of highly insulated copper wire as existing, testing complete.

Rewinding of rotor core with proper gauge and amount of highly insulated copper wire as existing, testing complete.

Ball valves high pressure of PTMT with epoxy coated aluminium rod & high density plastic ball screwed for iron pipe and pipe and fixed for 20 mm dia bore and including taking out unserviceable ball valves complete all as specified and directed.

Preparation of surfaces of sluice valve by brooming down or steel wire brushing scrapping down, smoke shoots moulds, mass efforescent salt, treating oil and greasy spots etc and painting two coats of synthetic enamel paint of approved shade over a coat of red oxide primer for sluice valve 150 mm complete including removing existing paint all as specified and directed.

Excavation for taking out brocken CI/DI pipe line upto 200/150mm dia, cutting of CI/DI pipe line upto 200mm dia at two portion with the help of electrical driven pipe cutter and levelling the cutting face of pipe with the electric driven grinder and then CI/DI welding by electric welding machine, fixing detacheble joint, tail piece etc then concreteting by PCC (1:4:8) type D-2 using 40 mm graded stone aggregate as in foundation filling and mass condrete, after repair of same pipe line, returning filling of excavated materials including removal of surplus soil complete all as specified.

Cutting existing road/PCC/Drain for laying of DI/GI or any typeof pipe including necessary earth work, excavation exc 600mm depth but not exc 1mtr depth, wide 800mm including making existing surface with PCC 1:2:4 type B1 using 20mm aggregate thickness of concrete is 150mm complete all as specified and directed.

Note :- The tendere shall take into consideration for following points while quoting his rate for this item and the unite rate is deemed be included for :-

(i) Earth work excavation in any type of soil

(ii) Returning, filling in, including spreading, levelling, watering and well ramming in layers not exc. 25 cm thick complete all as specified and as directed.

(iii) Removing excavated material to out side MD land

(iv) Laying of any type/any bore of pipe in trenches including taking down any description. Supply of pipe will be measured and paid separately

(v) 150 mm thick PCC 1:2:4 type B1 as in road

Rotational moulded polythene water storage tank of 500 Ltrs capacity (three layer white colour) cylinderical vertical with closed top including 3 Nos GI check nuts and tank nipple of 25mm bore for inlet and outlet, 25mm bore ball valves high pressure of PTMT with epoxy coated aluminium rod & high density plastic ball hoisted and fixed in position all as specified in SSR part -I including taking down of old unserviceable tank complete all as specified and directed.

Sluice Valve, Cast Iron body, Stainless Steel Spindle, Gun Metal Rings including Wheel for operation, Flanged and Drilled, suitable for 150 mm dia pipes, confirming to IS - 14846, Class PN -1.6, Long Body type including all Joints with Rubber Gasket and Jointing Materials, Bolts, Nuts, Washer complete including taking down existing UNSV sluice Valve all as specified and as directed.

Drain out existing contaminated water from open well/ dug shallow well of size 7 mtr x 3 mtr depth upto 20 to 35 mtr by pumping with the help of diesel driven pump set of not less than 20 HP and pipe complete, taking out of waste materials/ sludge, loose soil from bottom surface of well upto 2 to 3 mtr depth with the help of lifting trolley and further digging and getting out soil upto 1 mtr depth of bottom surface of well, removing grass and vegetation from inner walls of well including disinfection with high power sodium hypo chlorite liquid of not less than 60% chlorine concentration to disinfect all pathogens and coliform organisms from the wall surfaces of well to make a safe and clean spring in the well complete all as specified and directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.

Drain out existing contaminated water from open well/ dug shallow well of size 11 mtr x 11 mtr depth upto 20 to 35 mtr by pumping with the help of diesel driven pump set of not less than 20 HP and pipe complete, taking out of waste materials/ sludge, loose soil from bottom surface of well upto 2 to 3 mtr depth with the help of lifting trolley and further digging and getting out soil upto 1 mtr depth of bottom surface of well, removing grass and vegetation from inner walls of well including disinfection with high power sodium hypo chlorite liquid of not less than 60% chlorine concentration to disinfect all pathogens and coliform organisms from the wall surfaces of well to make a safe and clean spring in the well complete all as specified and directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.

Drain out existing contaminated water from open well/ dug shallow well of size 20 mtr x 10 mtr depth upto 20 to 35 mtr by pumping with the help of diesel driven pump set of not less than 20 HP and pipe complete, taking out of waste materials/ sludge, loose soil from bottom surface of well upto 2 to 3 mtr depth with the help of lifting trolley and further digging and getting out soil upto 1 mtr depth of bottom surface of well, removing grass and vegetation from inner walls of well including disinfection with high power sodium hypo chlorite liquid of not less than 60% chlorine concentration to disinfect all pathogens and coliform organisms from the wall surfaces and bottom surface of well to make a safe and clean spring in the well complete all as specified and directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.

Drain out existing contaminated water from open well/ dug shallow well of size 4 mtr x 3 mtr depth upto 20 to 35 mtr by pumping with the help of diesel driven pump set of not less than 20 HP and pipe complete, taking out of waste materials/ sludge, loose soil from bottom surface of well upto 2 to 3 mtr depth with the help of lifting trolley and further digging and getting out soil upto 1 mtr depth of bottom surface of well, removing grass and vegetation from inner walls of well including disinfection with high power sodium hypo chlorite liquid of not less than 60% chlorine concentration to disinfect all pathogens and coliform organisms from the wall surfaces of well to make a safe and clean spring in the well complete all as specified and directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.

Drain out existing contaminated water from open well/ dug shallow well of size 9 mtr x 4 mtr depth upto 20 to 35 mtr by pumping with the help of diesel driven pump set of not less than 20 HP and pipe complete, taking out of waste materials/ sludge, loose soil from bottom surface of well upto 2 to 3 mtr depth with the help of lifting trolley and further digging and getting out soil upto 1 mtr depth of bottom surface of well, removing grass and vegetation from inner walls of well including disinfection with high power sodium hypo chlorite liquid of not less than 60% chlorine concentration to disinfect all pathogens and coliform organisms from the wall surfaces of well to make a safe and clean spring in the well complete all as specified and directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.

Note for item No 51 to 55 :- The tenderer shall take into consideration following points while quoting his rate for these items and the unit is rate deemed to be included for :-

(i) The above mentioned job to be done in restricted technical area of Air Force Stn Sulur. The tenderer are advised to visit the site before quoting the tender. On account of security reason no compensation or extra shall be admissible due to any misunderstanding or loss of man-hours.

(ii) Due to acute shortage of water, open wells will be handed over to carry out the job in phase manner by Engineer-in-Charge throughout the currency of the contract.

(iii) The contractor shall be provide dewatering pump of suitable capacity and mobile generator for operation of dewatering by high pressure submersible pump (or) Diesel driven high pressure pump and the rate quoted rate is inclusive of rent/hiring charge complete.

(iv) An necessary T&P to ensure safely of labours like safety jackets, ropes, nets, helmets, gumboots etc required will be the responsibility of the contractor.

(v) The potability of water is to be checked after filling fresh yield after cleaning and if the result is found not within the stipulated range, the cleaning and disinfection of well is to be repeated by the contractor without claiming any extra cost from the deptt.

(vi) Charges for water testing will be measured and paid seperately under respective item.

(vii) Material removed from the tank shall be disposed off at out side MD land.

(viii) Open well/ Dug Shallow well shall be made available for cleaning for a period of 2 days only and contractor has to arrange sufficient labour/ T&P to complete the job with the given period only. or otherwise penality shall be imposed @ Rs 2000/- per day.

(ix) Please note that this penalty is exclusively other than the condition 56 of IAFW-2249 and shall be treated as interim condition of the contract.

(x) The decision of the Accepting Officer in this regard shall be final and binding.

(xi) The unit rate is deemed to be included the cost of removing vegetaion/ grass/ trimming of tree branches etc from atleast 5 mtr surrounding of well and pumping room.

Arrangement of Chemical and bacteriological analysis of drinking water by collecting samples from different sources like UG sumps/ user end taps/ bore wells/ open wells/ etc located in 12 km periphery, collection of samples in sterrilized laboratory bottles/ cans, transportation to authorised Govt laboratory to deposit the samples in stippulated time, including payment of fees, collection and submit of reports to the Engineer-in-Charge complete all as directed.

Note :- (a) Cost of transportations for collection of sterrilized bottles from laboratory, deposition of collected samples in stipulated time, report collectiion after completion of tests, payment of fees to the laboratory for each sample, etc are deemed to be included in the quoted rate. (b) The rate quoted is considered to be for each sample. (c) Sample from different sources to be taken as per time schedule directed by Engineer-in-Charge throughout the currency of the contract. (d) Payment will be made after submission of report from authorised Govt laboratroy only.

3-layer PP-R (Polypropylene random copolymer) pipes of 32 mm outer dia of pipes, concealed SDR 7.4 (PN-16 @ 20°C) UV stablised and anti microbial fusion welded having thermal stability for hot & cold water supply including all PP-R plain & brass threaded polypropylene random fittings, including taking down existing pipe of any description and bore of pipe complete to walls, ceilings or in floors or in trenches etc. of following size all as specified and directed. Note :- (a) The unit rate shall be include for taking down existing GI pipe and connections and all fittings as directed.

(b) The unit rate shall be include the cost of short lengths, with all pipe fittings such as bends, tees, short pieces connectors, elbows, reducers, unions, sockets etc and fixing accssories such as pipe hooks, screws clamps etc

(c ) Wall thickness of pipes shall be all as per IS : 15801

Supply and fixing 32 mm outer dia PP-R Gate Valves (Brass insert) with iron wheel head screwed both ends for iron pipes and including taking out unserviceable Gate valves complete all as specified and directed.

Servicing/ cleaning of water fountain consisting of submersible/ hollow well pump set up to 1 HP and connected accessories like pipe rings/ jets/ nozles/ suction and delivery pipes/ cable and electrical controlls, and any other efforts to make smooth flow of water through the pipes and nozles complete all as directed. Note :- (a) Replacement of unserviceable nozles upto 5 Nos, clamps, welding upto 12 stiches are deemed to be incl in the quoted rate. (b) Repair to the pumpset and replacement of cables will be measured and paid seperately under relevant items.

Removing of acumulated earth of any width and depth up to 30 cm. cleaning/cutting the grass and removing the grass waste to outside MD land. Note :- The unit rate is deemed to be included :- (a) Cutting and filling shall be cleared of shrubs, vegetation, grass bush, weed, trees and sapling not exceeding 30 cm in girth, measured at a height of two metre above ground level. Useful material shall be stacked. (b) Cutting the grass/feilling of trees shall include digging out roots up to 60 cm below the ground level or 14 cm below the formation level, whichever is lower. All holes and hollows formed in the ground digging out of roots shalll be carefully filled up with moorum/red bajri well rammed and levelled.

Disconnecting the delivery pipe line of submersible pump sets of any capacity from water mains to take out by lifting column pipe of 50mm dia alongwith submersible cable and pump set from shallow well of any depth for servicing of submersible pump sets of any capacity at site, re-assembling the column pipe and re-connection of submersible cable with pump set and lowering in the shallow/open well, testing and commissioning all as specified and directed. Note:- (a) The cost of tools and equipments reqd for lifting/ lowering of pipes and pumps are deemed to be incl in the quoted rate.

Flat Three Core PVC Insulated & PVC Sheathed Industrial Cable for Submersible Pump Motors 1100 Volt, conforming to IS 694, 6 sq mm nominal area complete including taking out old unserviceable cable complete all as specified and directed. Make : Havells/ KEI/ Polycab

The panels should be modular and compartmentalized in construction with opaque and transparent doors, properly tightened to base with thermoplastic screws having sealing gaskets of extruded silicon rubber to withstand adverse weather effects. Dismantling pump and motor of submersible pump set for capacity upto 7.5 HP to carry out repairs and replacements at local workshop, duly replacing worn out parts, applying one coat of spray painting with synthetic enamel paint of existing colour and testing complete all as specified and directed. Note :- (a) The spares shall be measured and paid seperately in the relevent items given below. (b) Cost of labour for replacement of spares and transportation are deemed to be incl in the quoted rate. (c) The pumpset shall be spared for one week for repair from the date of complaint given by AGE/ JE E/M regarding breakdown. The Contractor is responsible for making alternate arrangement of pump set in case of time required more than one week. (d) In case services affected due to delay in repair of pump set, a penalty of Rs 500 per day will be levied from the contractor. (e) Please note that this penalty is exclusively other then the condition 56 of IAFW-2249 and shall be treated as interim condition of the contract. (f) The decision of the Accepting Officer in this regard shall be final and binding.

Disconnecting from suction & delivery pipes and electrical connections to carry out repairs and servicing of centrifugal monoblock pumpsets 12.5 HP (Make Kirloskar ), driven by squirrel cage induction motor, 3 ph, 415 volts, AC 50 Hz, cleaning inside motor stator winding, varnishing and drying, duly replacing worn out parts, applying one coat of spray painting with synthetic enamel paint of existing colour, reinstalling on the mounting plinth, reconnceting to suction & delivery lines and electricity source, testing on load and re-commissioning complete all as specified and directed.
