Disconnecting all water and electric connections of geysers and taking down carefully installed storage type electric geysers of any capacity of any make/type/size (horizontal/vertical) lowering and setting aside opening geysers examining and checking thoroughly for requisite repair/ replacement of defective/worn-out/ unserviceable components/parts materials including preparing inventory for each geyser separately in presence of Engineer-in-Charge and removing all scale and dirt de-scaling of deposited in inner copper tank and outer tank and heating elements by HCL or aqua clear pedilite solution, thermostat, indicator lamp, assemble checking electrical connection, stopping of minor leaking by soldering/brazing of the inner copper tank and replacement of defective worn out unserviceable components/parts (new components/parts shall be measured and paid separately as supply only herein after) & re-fixing geyser in its original location including hoisting, connecting to water & electric connection and testing for proper functioning of geysers including earthing to the entire satisfaction of the Engineer-in-Charge.

Note -Employing skilled electrician and helpers per day required with necessary tools, safety equipments for attending geyser and fan complaint complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in -charge.

Supply only Heating element 2 KW as per sample suitable geyser of any capacity.

Supply only Heating element 3 KW as per sample suitable geyser of any capacity.

Supply only Heating element 1.5 KW as per sample suitable geyser of any capacity.

Supply only Thermostat switch 230 volts, 50 cycles AC suitable for geysers of any capacity geyser as per existing make

Supply only Fiber reinforced PVC nylon pipe (Flexi connection pipe) heavy duty size 450 mm long 15mm bore with brass coupling chromium plated with rubber washers as both ends as per IS.

Supply only Base assembly (seperator) suitable for 25/50 ltr capacity of geyser as per existing make,size and type with holding clamp with nut bolts,washer and rubber gasket for element and thermostate and other accessories as required at site etc complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in -charge.

Supply only heavy duty pin type fastener 4" long (GI nuts & bolts and washers off sizes) suitable for any capacity geyser as required at site.

Supply only stainless steel tank and rated pressure not less than 7kg/sqcm etc as per existing size,shape,make suitable for 50 ltrs geysers.

Supply only stainless steel tankand rated pressure not less than 7kg/sqcm etc as per existing size,shape,make suitable for 25 ltrs geysers.

Supply only indicator lamp as per existing shape and size suitable for 25/50 ltrs capacity of geyser etc complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in -charge.

Supply only Metallic fusable plug of existing make/type/size suitable for geyser any capacity.

Supply only Rubber ring gasket superior/made out rubber having holes to suit the hole of base plate suitable for any capacity geysers

Supply only PVC copper cable flexible 3 core round heavy duty size 40/0.0076 suitable for geyser any capacity

Supply only three pin plug top ISI marked of capacity 15/16A, 230 volts

Supply only safety valve ISI marked for any make and any capacity of geyser, complete all as specified and approved by Engineer-in -charge.

Supply only bottom cover made out of MS sheet 20 guage as per existing size & hole incl machine screws suitable for 25/50 ltr geysers of any make and type complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in -charge.

Material and Labour for Painting of geyser 25 Ltrs after scraping, cleaning, knotting and stopping including preparation of surface of geyser and rubbing with ammery paper for painting with one coat of duco paint by spray painting machine to achieve glossy finish of approved make first quality and re write MES No. on the body of geyser with black synthetic enamel paint (letters and figures 2cm high ) complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in -Charge.

NOTE: Spare parts shall be measured and paid seprately under respective item of schedule

Material and Labour for Preparation of surfaces by removing rust/ dust by sand paper/ wire brush/ hand scrapping to obtain even surfaces of steel tubular pole 9 m long above ground levelincluding brackets, clamps etc and painting the same with one coat of Aluminium paint over a coat of red oxide primer complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in -charge. Note:- The existing paint from air terminal, down conductor and test point fixed on the pole shall be removed properly by using sand paper and surface cleaned with thinner/ cleaning material to ensure proper conductivity of the path.

Material and Labour to carry out earth resistance test and neutral voltage for earthing with suitable earth resistance testing after opening the test point and recording the result in presence of user/ MES reppresentative all as per IS-3043: 1996 complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in -charge. Note:-1. In case of resistance value exceeds more than 5ohms and earth neutralvoltage more than 3 volts, the earthing shall either removed and replaced and for resistance value between 01 to 05 ohms, renewal of earthing shall be carried out, the renwal and or replacement shall be measured and paid separately. 2. Testing equipment shall be provided by contractor.

Material and Labour to carry out Ohmic resistance test and recording the resistance value of lightening protection system in presence of user/ MES reppresentative complete with Air termination but without earth connections by dividing the system into convenient sections at testing point by suitable joints and flowing continous current of above 10 Amps by using Kelvin Bridge or other suitable portable precision testing set all as per IS-2309: 1969 complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in -charge. Note:-1. Before testing, all the joints shall be cleaned by CRC solution, worn out/ missing nuts, bolts, washers, rivets etc shall be replaced and roof/down conductors shall be straightened.. 2. Testing equipment shall be provided by contractor.

S & F 1100 volts grade heavy duty cable PVC insulated stranded aluminium conductor served with inner sheathing of PVC tape and overall PVC sheathed for service connections suspended by insulating hangers not more than 1 mtr apart incl 4 mm suspension wire twin core cable circular of size 10 Sq mm complete all as specified.

Earth pit chamber PCC (1:3:6) type C-1 (using 20mm graded stone aggregate) for earth pit with 40 x 40 x 6mm mild steel angle iron frame for cover, pre cast RCC (1:2:4) type B-1 (using 20mm graded stone aggregate) 40mm thick cover, reinforced with 6mm dia bars 3 Nos both way with 12mm dia round bar handle as specified in SSR 2009 Part I Electrical Plate No 3 incl taking out broken pits and deposited as directed place and marker made out of 1.6 mm thick MS plate (30x30 cm size,welded with 12 mm dia round MS bar incl painting with one coat of red oxide primer and two coat of synthetic enameld paint and writing the earth pit no and result as directed hight letter etc as in repair complete as specified and directed by Engr-in-charge

Supply and Fixing switch Socket combination 2 in 1, 3 pin 15 Amps flush type 240 volts ISI marked universal as in repairs complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in -charge.
