Taking down / out unserviceable or serviceable UG cables of any cross sectional area and connections including bricks, etc. of any descriptions, laid in trenches and /or fixing with walls /poles including segregating of serviceable materials viz bricks, cables, etc. and kept in safe custody for re-use complete all as specified and as directed. NOTE : Earth Work shall be measured and paid separately under relevant Items here-in-after.

Excavation in trenches not exc. 1.50m wide and not exc. 1.50m in depth and getting out in soft / loose soil complete all as specified and as directed.

Returning, filling in, including spreading, levelling, watering and well ramming in layers not exc. 25cm thick in soft/loose soil complete all as specified and as directed.

Taking down/ out unserviceable GI / HDPE pipes of any size and descriptions, laid in trenches and /or fixing to wall / poles complete all as specified and as directed.

Dismantling concrete poles/ struts, any size including demolition of cement concrete (as/if required) and made good disturbed ground, and the pole is deposited to MES Store Yard complete all as specified and as directed. Note : (i) Unserviceable poles will be dismantled at ground level and disturbed ground will made good as directed for which earthwork, demolition of cement concrete, etc. will not be measured and paid separately. (ii) All the T&P, vehicle for transportation from site to MES Store Yard to be arrange by contractor and the rate is included in this schedule. No extra shall be paid to the contractor for transportation complete. (iii) The old existing unserviceable service line remain un-used/not further required are to be dismantled.
