युकेलिप्‍टस/ नीलगिरी पोल्‍स 2 मीटर लंबे पूर्ण से सूखे लकडी के खंबे जिस पर वाटर रेसिसटेंट पेन्‍ट किया हुआ पोल्‍स साईज- मध्‍यम भाग 31 से 40 सेमी गोलाई एवं उपर के सिरे पर नुकीला होना चाहिए इसके साथ ही निम्‍नानुसार विशेषताये आवश्‍यक है 1- पोल्‍स के मध्‍यम भाग की मोटाई 31 सेमी से 40 सेमी होनी आवश्‍यक है। 2- पोल्‍स की उचॉई 2 मीटर होना आवश्‍यक है। 3- पोल्‍स के निचले भाग से प्रारंभ करके क्रमश: 55 सेमी,80 सेमी,110 सेमी,140 सेमी एवं 170 सेमी अंतर पर आयरन हुक लगा होना आवश्‍यक है । 4- पोल्‍स के उपरी भाग में 30 सेमी एवं निचले भाग में डामर पेंट आवश्‍यक है।
