PROVISION OF CERTAIN FACILITIES AND STANDARD FEATURES AT TRANSIT FACILITIES, SELBY (VIP GUEST HOUSE) AND OFFICER MESS AT ITM, MUSSOORIE

Building including internal Services

Providing and fixing precoated galvanised iron profile sheets (size,shape and pitch of corrugation as approved by Engineer-in-charge) 0.50 mm (+ 0.05 %) total coated thickness with zinc coating 120 grams per sqm as per IS: 277, in 240 mpa steel grade, 5-7 microns poxy primer on both side of the sheet and polyester top coat 15-18 microns. Sheet should have protective guard film of 25 microns minimum to avoid scratches during transportation and should be supplied in single length upto 12 metre or as desired by Engineerin-charge. The sheet shall be fixed using self drilling /self tapping screws of size (5.5x 55 mm) with EPDM seal, complete upto any pitch in horizontal/ vertical or curved surfaces, excluding the cost of purlins, rafters and trusses and including cutting to size and shape wherever required.

Painting with synthetic enamel paint of approved brand and manufacture to give an even shade : Two or more coats on new work over an under coat of suitable shade with ordinary paint of approved brand and manufacture

Structural steel work riveted, bolted or welded in built up sections, trusses and framed work, including cutting, hoisting, fixing in position and applying a priming coat of approved steel primer all complete

Brick work with common burnt clay F.P.S. (non modular) bricks of class designation 7.5 in superstructure above plinth level up to floor V level in all shapes and sizes in :Cement mortar 1:6 (1 cement : 6 coarse sand)

12 mm cement plaster of mix : 1:6 (1 cement: 6 coarse sand)

18 mm cement plaster in two coats under layer 12 mm thick cement plaster 1:5 (1 cement : 5 coarse sand) finished with a top layer 6 mm thick cement plaster 1:6 (1 cement : 6 fine sand).

Cement concrete flooring 1:2:4 (1 cement : 2 coarse sand : 4 graded stone aggregate) finished with a floating coat of neat cement, including cement slurry, but excluding the cost of nosing of steps etc. complete. 40 mm thick with 20 mm nominal size stone aggregate

Providing and laying in position cement concrete of specified grade excluding the cost of centering and shuttering - All work up to plinth level : 1:3:6 (1 Cement : 3 coarse sand (zone-III) : 6 graded stone aggregate 20 mm nominal size)

Distempering with oil bound washable distemper of approved brand and manufacture to give an even shade : New work (two or more coats) over and including water thinnable priming coat with cement primer

Finishing walls with Acrylic Smooth exterior paint of required shade : New work (Two or more coat applied @ 1.67 ltr/10 sqm over and including priming coat of exterior primer applied @ 2.20 kg/10 sqm)

Providing and fixing 1mm thick M.S. sheet door with frame of 40x40x6 mm angle iron and 3 mm M.S. gusset plates at the junctions and corners, all necessary fittings complete, including applying a priming coat of approved steel primer. Using M.S. angels 40x40x6 mm for diagonal braces

Welded steel wire fabric of required width having rectangular mesh painted with two or more coats of enamel paint of approved shade over a coat of primer (Priming & Painting to be paid for separately).

Providing and fixing G.I. pipes complete with G.I. fittings including trenching and refilling etc. 25 mm dia nominal bore metre

Providing and fixing gun metal gate valve with C.I. wheel of approved quality (screwed end) : 25 mm nominal bore

Providing and fixing glazing in aluminium door, window, ventilator shutters and partitions etc. with EPDM rubber / neoprene gasket etc. complete as per the architectural drawings and the directions of engineer-in-charge . (Cost of aluminium snap beading shall be paid in basic item): With float glass panes of 4.0 mm thickness (weight not less than 10 kg/ sqm)

Providing sand cast iron drop connection externally for 60 cm drop from branch sewer line to main sewer manhole including inspection and cleaning eye with chain and lid, sand cast iron drop pipe and bend encased all-round with cement concrete 1:5:10 (1 cement : fine sand : 10 graded stone aggregate 40 mm nominal size) with all centering and shuttering required, cutting holes in walls and making good with brick work in cement mortar 1:4 (1 cement : 4 coarse sand) plastered with cement mortar 1:3 (1 cement : 3 coarse sand)on inside of the manhole wall, lead caulked joints between sand cast iron pipes and fittings, stiff cement mortar 1:1 (1 cement : 1fine sand) joints between sand cast iron tee and S.W. pipe, making required channels complete as per standard design and specifications : 100 mm dia sand cast iron drop connection

Fire Fighting Arrangement

Supply, installation, testing and commissioning of Electric driven main fire pump of capacity 10 HP monoblock type three phase 415 volts 50 Hz including inlet and outlet connections with fixing accessories like bend,reducer, elbow, sockets, union, nipple etc as required at site, making the inlet connection from existing under ground tank complete all as specified and directed by Project Manager/Engr-in-Charge.

Supply, installation, testing and commissioning of Diesel Engine driven main fire pump set of capacity 7.46 KW/9.86 BHP monoblock type including inlet and outlet connections with fixing accessories like bend,reducer, elbow, sockets, union, nipple etc as required at site, making the inlet connection from existing under ground tank complete all as specified and directed by Project Manager/Engr-in-Charge.

Supply, installation, testing and commissioning of Electric driven pressurisation pump of capacity 2 HP monoblock type three phase 415 volts 50 Hz including inlet and outlet connections with fixing accessories like bend,reducer, elbow, sockets, union, nipple etc as required at site, making the inlet connection from existing under ground tank complete all as specified and directed by Project Manager/Engr-in-Charge.

Fabrication, supply, installation, testing and commissioning Electrical automatic control panel floor mounted indoor type fabricated out of 2 mm thick CRCA sheet dust and vermin proof powder coated, cable alley, inter connection with suitable size copper cable/strips, having switch gears, starters and accessories, internal wiring, earth terminals complete in all respect, suitable for main fire pump 10 HP, pressurisation pump 2 HP and diesel pump set 7.46 KW/ 9.86 BHP complete suitable for operation on 415 volts 3 phase 50 Hz AC supply with enclosure protection class IP 42 complete all as specified and directed

Supply only armoured LT UG XLPE cable 25 sq mm 3.5 core withaluminium conductor, 1.1 KV grade all as specified and directed by Project Manager/Engr-in-Charge.

Laying only of one number PVC insulated and PVC sheathed/XLPE power cable of 1.1 KV grade size up to 35 sq mm 3.5/4 core direct in ground including excavation sand cusioning, protective covering and refilling the trench etc as required.

Supply and laying PVC insulated copper conductor cable 3 core 10 sq mm including making connections with pumping set and starter complete all as specified and directed by Project Manager/Engr-in-Charge.

Supply and laying PVC insulated copper conductor cable 3 core 4 sq mm including making connections with pumping set and starter complete all as specified and directed by Project Manager/Engr-in-Charge

Supply and fixing first aid Hose reel with MS construction spray painted in post office red, confirming to IS 884 complete with 20 mm nominal internal dia water hose thermoplatic type-2, 20 mm dia nominal internal dia gun metal globe valve and nozzle, drum and brackets for fixing equipment on wall complete all as specified and directed.

Supply, installation, testing and commissioning of hose pipe 63 mm dia 15 meters long each with male and female coupling of stainless steel ISI marked complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and fix single headed external yard hydrant with 1 No. 63 mm dia instantaneous FM stainless steel ISI marked including fixing accessories complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and fix butter fly valve 63 mm dia stainless steel ISI marked including fixing accessories complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and fix 63 mm dia gun metal short branch pipe with 20 mm nominal internal dia size nozzle ISI marked including fixing accessories complete all as specified and directed.

Providing, laying, testing and commissioning of C class heavy duty MS pipe of size 80 mm dia conforming to IS 3589/IS 1239 including welding, fittings like elbows, tees, flanges, tapers, nuts, bolts, gaskets etc and fixing the pipe on the wall/ceiling with suitable clamp/support frame and painting two or more coats of synthetic enamel paint of required shade complete as required.

Earthing with G.I. earth plate 600 mm X 600 mm X 6 mm thick including accessories, and providing masonry enclosure with cover plate having locking arrangement and watering pipe of 2.7 metre long etc. with charcoal/ coke and salt as required.

Providing and fixing earth connection from earth electrode with 6 SWG dia G.I. wire in 15 mm dia GI pipe from earth electrode including connection with GI thimble, excavation and refilling as required.

Providing and fixing 25 mm X 5 mm G.I strip in 40 mm dia GI pipe from earth electrode including connection with GI nut, bolt, spring washer excavation and refilling as reqiured.

Laundary Facility

Providing and placing on platform polythylene water storage tank IS 12701 marked with cover and suitable locking arrangement and making necessary holes for inlet, outlet and overflow pipes but without fittings and the base support for tank.

Providing and fixing GI pipes 20 mm dia nominal bore complete with GI fittings exposed on wall including cutting clamping and making good that walls etc complete all as specified and directed.

Providing and fixing gum metal gate valve with cast iron wheel of approved quality (screwed end) of size 20 mm nominal bore complete all as specified and directed.

Wiring for light/ power plug with 2X4 sq mm FRLS PVCinsulated copper conductor single core cable in surface/recessed medium class PVC conduit alongwith 1 No. 4 sq mm FRLS PVC insulated copper conductor single core cable for loope earthing as required complete all as specified and directed by Project Manager/Engr-in-Charge.

Supplying and fixing suitable size GI box with modular plate and cover in front on surface or in recess, including providing and replacing 6 pin 5/6 & 15/16 A modular socket outlet and 15/16 Amps modular switch, connections etc as required.
