Taking down existing street light/flood light/focus light/high must light carefully (any capacity, any type) from pole/building to carry out repair work at site including replacment of unserviceable/ defective screw nut bolts, spare etc, re-fixing/replacment of fitting in its original position, testing and commissioning, including removal of bushes, creepers and trimming of branches around the light fitting complete all as specified and directed. Note : 1. If any major repair is required, attending complaints and replacment of any nature in street light network at any point of time, the items shall be replaced with respective item of sch 'A' is demmed to be inclusive. 2. Rate shall be included for flexible wire of size 23/.0076 for connecting the light to conductor and PVC tape to taping the joint properly shall be included in the rate quoted by the tenderer. 3. Vehicle mounted Hydraulic type ladders / Cranes shall be used and will be provided by contractor for dismantling / refixing of light fittings at pole and cost for the same is deemed to be included. 4. Lights for replacement shall be measured as supply only under respective items of this BOQ.

S&F GI Pipe 40mm bore light grade (ISI marked) cut piece of 3.5 metre to 4 mtr length fixed vertically with bottom end fixed to parapet wall/roof of the building with suitable clamps & fasteners or PCC work for stragiht vertical erection as directed by Engr-In-Charge and other end (at top) fixed to air termination rod with necessary bolts, nuts etc as required complete all as specified and directed.

S&F in position at various/different locations pit cover with lifting handle of pre-cast RCC (1:1:5:3) mix along with lifiting handle using 20mm graded crush stone aggragate type A-1 and reinforced with XPM weighing not less than 4Kg/Sqm, and replacing existing earth pit cover for replacing broken/unserviceable pit cover complete all as specified and directed.

M&L Earthing complete with copper earth plate electrode 600 mm x 600 mm x 3.15 mm thick, burried directly in ground in vertical position, earth pit not less than 3.65 Mtr deep below ground level with top edge of the plate not less than 2.90 Mtr below ground level. The earth plate to be connetced with copper earthing strip of size 20 mmx 3mm thick by means of brazing between copper strip and earth plate min 45 cm in vertical length and copper strip also to be joined by brazing only. The copper earthing strip to be protected by galvanised iron pipe 40 mm bore (medium grade) up to ground level and there after with 40mm dia HDPE pipe up to test point. Earthing shall include provision of funnel with 20mm bore galvanised iron pipe (light grade), wire mesh, charcoal or coke and common salt in alternate layer of 15cm (compacted thickness) up to 90 cm all around earth plate further filled with 60 cm thick Tibba sand and 2nd layer with 30 cm of Magnesium sulphate powder (compact thickness ), 3rd layer with tibba sand up to ground level. Earthing shall also include concrete earth pit in PCC (1:3:6) type C-1 (with 20mm graded aggregate), 50mm thick precast RCC (1:2:4) cover slab (re-inforced with 8mm dia TMT bar @ 15 cm C/C bothways and suitable handle made of 10mm dia) including necessary earth work in excavation, returning filling and removal of surplus earth upto a distance not exceeding 50 Mtr etc all as shown on electrical plate No. 3 of MES Schedule Part-I complete to obtain less than 2 Ohm earth resistance value, complete all as specified. Supply, installation, testing and commissioning maintenance free tripod chemical earthing system consisting of 3 Nos of solid copper bonded earth rod of 10 feet length 17.2mm dia and 3 mtr long on outer surface having 250microns (minimum thickness) with exothermically welded joint of copper bus bar 150x50x5mm for long lasting and connecting each copper rod and the exothermically welded joint bus bar, both CPRI tested on at least 25KA fault current ensuring high current capacity of the system and earth rod should be certified by the Laboratories confirming to comply with UL 467- International standards grounding and bonding equipment and earth rod should be used with minimum 50 Kg earth enhancing compound that should be ROHS tested and have passed leaching sulphur, corrison, restivity test shall be less than 0.05 LHM mtr and international standard for earth enhancement compound by NABL accredited laboratory and each rod should be interconnected with 8mm dia copper clad steel conductor at the distance of 3 mtr to make a shape of triangle with 32x6mm copper strip, top of the bore finished with 40mm thick PCC in 1:2:4 type B-1, 75mm thick PCC 1:4:8, type D-2 and backfill/JAM compound shall be covered with advance polymer pit cover of 30x30cm size complete all as specified and directed. Note : 1. Cost of the items includes the scope of earth work, charcoal, salt, PCC, RCC, checmical compound and Pit cover of required size. 2. Testing of earth value shall be arranged by the contractor without any extra cost. 3. Value obtained of earh shall be below 1.00 ohm.
