Note : All unserviceable materials obtained out of demolition/dismantling/taking down (other than those for which credit catered under Schedule of credit) shall be disposed of outside MoD Land. Quoted rates against respective item shall deemed to include for same.

Excavation in trenches in soft / loose soil, not exc 1.5 m wide and n. exc 1.5 m depth or n exc 10 Sqm on plan and n. exc 1.5 m depth & getting out, for laying of cables, foundations of poles, struts, stays etc. and getting out including triming and forming bottom surface complete, all as directed.

Excavation in trenches in soft / loose soil, not exc 1.5 m wide and exc 1.5 m but n. exc 3.0 m depth or n exc 10 Sqm on plan and exc 1.5 m but not exc 3.0 m depth & getting out, for laying of cables, foundations of poles, struts, stays etc. and getting out including triming and forming bottom surface complete, all as directed.

Returning, filling in, including spreading, levelling, watering and well ramming in layers not exceeding 25 cms thick in soft / loose soil back in trenches after cables have been laid and tested, poles, stays , struts have been erected and tested complete all as directed.

Removing excavated materials to a distance not exc 50m and depositing where directed at a level not exc 1.5 m above the starting point in soils complete all as directed.

M & L for PCC 1:4:8 type D-2 using 40 mm graded crushed stone aggregate as in foundation of poles/ struts/ stay assembly etc complete all as directed.

M&L for PCC 1:2:4 type B-1 using 20 mm graded crushed stone aggregate as in padestal of poles etc including weathring, slightly rounded or chambered angle and throating including use and waste of necessary form work finishing all exposed faces of concrete even and smooth using extra cement complete all as directed.

Taking down carefully copper/aluminium point wiring (light, fan, socket or power) complete from existing conduits, from PVC Casing/capping with all fittings, such as switches, ceiling rose, pendants, sockets, lamp holder, fan regulators, sketch/brackets light fittings (except tube light fitting) etc and removal of old material from site (except switches, sockets and fittings to be reused) and making good disturbed surfaces of walls, floors ceiling etc complete all as specified and directed to match with existing surfaces.

M & L for point wiring complete with 1.5 Sqmm single core multistranded copper conductor of 1100 volts grade PVC insulated and unsheathed FRLS-H cable drawn through and including PVC rigid non metallic conduit (minimum 20mm bore size) and conduit accessories concealed in walls/ceiling/floors all as per IS, including 1.5 Sqmm single core multistranded copper conductor of 1100 volts grade PVC insulated and unsheathed FRLS-H green colour cable as earth continuity conductor to common earth & connecting to earth dolly for the following :- (Note : The rate quoted shall deemed to include for cutting chases for concealing PVC conduit and making good disturbed surfaces. )

Supply and fix in replacement recess mounted LED luminaire 1195mm x 295mm size, 36 watt, 230 V, 50 Hz, colour temperature white 5700K, with PPGI (pre-painted galvanised iron) sheet steel housing comprising of LED's connected in series parallel, opal diffuser, constant current output driver, operating range 150-265V AC supply voltages, ingress protection IP20 with all standard fittings, pre-wired and connecting the fitting from ceiling rose/connector using copper flexible cord of size 1.5sqmm, 3 core of suitable length complete all as specified and directed. {Model/Make : Model 'SKYLUX' Cat Part No BZRSLL 36W GZ1 WH of make Bajaj or equivalent model of makes listed in List makes}.

Supply and fix in replacement recess mounted LED luminaire 600mm x 600mm size, 36 watt, 230 V, 50 Hz, colour temperature white with all standard fittings pre-wired and connecting the fitting from ceiling rose/connector using copper flexible cord of size 1.5sqmm, 3 core of suitable length complete all as specified and directed. {Model/Make : Model 'SKYLUX' Cat Part No BZRSQL 36W GZi CW of make Bajaj or equivalent model of makes listed in List makes}.

Supply and fix in replacement recess mounted LED luminaire 305mm x 305mm size, 18 watt, 230 V, 50 Hz, colour temperature white, with CRCA sheet housing comprising of LED's connected in series parallel, opal diffuser, constant current output driver, operating range 150-275V AC supply voltages, ingress protection IP20 with all standard fittings, pre-wired and connecting the fitting from ceiling rose/connector using copper flexible cord of size 1.5sqmm, 3 core of suitable length complete all as specified and directed. {Model/Make : Model 'SKYLUX' Cat Part No BCTBLR 18WH ZT of make Bajaj or equivalent model of makes listed in List makes}.

Taking out old unserviceable LT UG cable and Supplying, Fixing/laying, jointing and testing and commissioning, LT under ground cables, 1100 Volts grade, XLPE insulated, armoured heavy duty electric cable with stranded aluminuim conductors, laid in trenches, ducts/fixed on poles/walls/laid under roads/paths/drains/culverts or encased in GI pipe complete all as specified and directed of following sizes:-

2 core 10 Sqmm

4 core 16 Sqmm

4 core 25 Sqmm NOTE :- (a) Excavation & earth work, shall be measured and paid for seprately under respective items of the BOQ. (b) GI pipe for laying of cable, sand cushioning, cable protection cover shall be measured and paid for seprately under respective items of the BOQ (c) Road cutting involved during excavation for laying of cables etc shall be made good as per existing road. Nothing extra shall be admissible on this account. Quoted rates of the item shall be inclusive of the above provisions.

Taking out old unserviceable GI pipe and S & F Galvanised steel tubing light grade for protection of under ground cable on poles / walls/under road crossing/laid in trenches etc conforming to IS-1239 for following bore complete all as directed:-

50 mm bore (Note : Excavation & earth work shall be measured & paid separately under respective items of this Schedule).

M & L for dry sand cushioning to PVC under ground cable with screened and washed sand and punning to provide a required cover complete all as specified and directed. Note :- Thickness after punning shall be considered for payment.

M & L for brick protection for UG XLPE cable with burnt clay old size sub class 'B' bricks laid dry and flat abutting each other with gaps between adjacent brick not more than 10mm and width equal to length of brick in trenches across the cable complete all as directed.

Taking out existing damaged/unserviceable Steel tubular swaged pole 9 metre long including demolition of foundation and supply, transporting to site errecting and fixing in position Steel tubular swaged pole, 9 metres long, type 410 SP-31, complete with cast iron base plate, pole cap, finial taper plug, bolts, nuts, washers etc including painting with two coats of aluminium paint over one coat of red oxide primer including pasting two Nos. 50mm wide luminous radium strips of colour as directed at a height as directed on pole and marking pole Nos in white letters on black back ground of 20 Cm dia circle including tarring one coat on steel surface embedded in concrete complete all as specified and directed Note:- Excavation and earth work, PCC etc shall be measured and paid separately under respective items.

M & L in replacement street light fitting mounting bracket fabricated out of GI tubing 40 mm bore light grade not less than 1.2m long made to shape including 2 Nos flat iron clamp 50x6mm to be tightened with nuts, bolts & washers of suitable size mounted on pole including painting with two coats of aluminium paint over one coat of red oxide primer complete all as specified and directed .

Supply and fix in replacement SMC junction box made out of polycarbonate sheet, side hinged door and with locking arrangement including one No. of MCB SP 6-32 Amps and 4 way connectors and fixed to pole with 2 Nos. MS flat iron 25x3mm clamps with nuts & bolts &complete all as specified and as directed. Model No GS-JB-3020 of Make-Sintex or equivalent model of Make Hensel.

Taking out old unserviceable PVC insulated & PVC Round Sheathed 3 core 2.5 Sqmm cable from any situation and Supply and fix/lay PVC insulated and FR PVC Round Sheathed, Copper Conductor (flexible) industrial cable, 1100 Volt, conforming to IS 694 for connecting light fitting from junction box to light fitting complete all as specified and directed.

Note for item Nos 21.00 to 26.00 :- (i) The contractor shall render warranty for the complete fitting including its LEDs, Lens, Driver, SPD, Protection devices and all Electric/Electronics connected parts for minimum 3 (Three) years and Contractor shall also submit manufacturers warranty certificate of fittings for minimum 3 (Three) years in writting. Warantee must include for replacement of fittings for conditions brought out here-in-below and same shall be in favour of GE (I) (AF) Shillong for a period of 3 (Three) years from the date of completion of the work. The complete documents regarding warranty shall be handed over to the Engineer-in-Charge at the time of execution of the items. For this purpose, contractor may obtain Warranty/ Extended warranty from the manufacturer for the above period. (ii) The warranty furnished by the contractor shall meet the reqirement in following conditions :- (a) Manufacturing defects. (b) Drop in lumen (or lux at 1 m) below 90% of claimed values of lumen of the LED/Luminaries.

Taking out old unserviceable Main switch/Timer switch/programme switch etc and Supply, Fixing, commissioning and testing of digital automatic Astronomical Time switch for street light operation based on longitude and latitude suitable for single phase 110-240 Volts, AC supply complete all as specified and directed. S & F in replacement Power contactor, 3 Pole, Type ML-4 with 2NO+ 2NC auxiliary contacts confirming to IS/IEC 60947-4-1, coil voltage 415 volts AC3 rating 70 amps Cat Part No. SS 90910 of Make L & T or equivalent model of Makes listed in List of makes complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for earthing complete with galvanized steel earth plate 60 cm X 60 cm X 6 mm thick buried vertically in ground to depth not less than 2.25 metres deep below ground level, with top edge of earth plate not less than 1.5 m below ground level, connected to galvanized earth lead wire 4.00mm dia by means of bolts, nuts, check nuts and washers of galvanized iron or steel besides welding at all joints as shown in drawing and including excavation and earth work, GI pipe light grade 15mm bore for protection of earth wire and connected to continous earth lead on pole/test point, supplying and laying charcoal dust common salt PCC 1:2:4 type B1, chamber and MS angle iron frame 40x40x3mm and RCC cover 40mm thick (1:2:4) type B1 using 20mm graded stone aggregate reinforced with 6mm dia round bars @ 75mm C/C both ways with MS handle 12mm dia, PGI funnel and wire mesh, 20mm dia GI pipe medium grade for watering all as shown in electrical plate No 5 on srl page No 497 of SSR Part I (2009) drawing and connection to earth test point including testing and including dismantling and taking out old earthing complete all as specified and directed. Note : (i) The cost of earth lead /strip and GI pipe for protection of earth lead/strip upto 7.5m is included in the quoted rate. (ii) The cost of excavation, earth work is included in the quoted rate.
