Supply, Installation, testing and commissioning of 160 kVA Silent type Liquid cooled diesel driven generating set conforming to CPCB 2 / latest norms comprising of radiator, 4 stroke multi cylinder engine of suitable BHP to deliver rated kVA at prevailing site conditions equipped with flywheel, residential type silencer, fuel governor, fuel pump, built in fuel tank, electric starting equipment with required nos of suitable AH sealed maintenance free batteries etc., directly coupled to 160 kVA 0.8PF, alternator suitable for 3 phase, 4 wire 50Hz AC supply system with the entire system mounted on common base frame etc. on an existing foundation, exhaust piping with thermal insulation, control wiring from Alternator to control panel, acoustic enclosure, etc. as specified and consisting of the followings and AMF panel as per specification given below etc. as required.. (including rate of AMF panel as mentioned at Sr. no. 2)

Diesel Engine: One number Diesel Engine multi-cylinder, four stroke, liquid cooled, electric start, turbo charged type engine suitable for developing the required BHP at 1500 rpm, suitable for above output of alternator at 40º C, 50% RH and at 1000 Metre MSL and conforming to BS 5514, BS 649, IS:10000, ISO 8528 Part I with upto date amendments/ norms, capable of taking 10% over loading for one hour after 12 hours of continuous operation complete with common base frame, Anti vibration mountings, radiator, starting equipment, batteries, residential type silencer and other accessories etc. as required and as specified in the detailed specification enclosed. Engine mounted instrument panel fitted with and having digital display for the following: Start- stop switch with Key, Water/ liquid temperature indication, lubrication oil presuure indication, Lubrication oil temperature indication, Battery charging Indication, RPM indication, Over Speed indication, Low lubrication oil trip indication, engine Hours indication.

Alternator: One number synchronous alternator rated at 160 kVA, 415 volts at 1500 rpm, 3 phase, 50 Hz. AC supply with 0.8 lagging power factor at 40ºC, 50% RH and at 1000 Metre MSL. The alternator shall be having SPDP enclosure, brushless, continuous duty, self-excited and self-regulated through AVR conforming to IS: 4722/BS 2613 suitable for tropical conditions and with class F/H insulation

Base Frame & Foundation: Both the engine and alternator shall be mounted on suitable base frame made of MS channeld with necessary reinforcement which shall be installed on suitable cement concrete foundation and vibration isolation arrangement as per recommendations of manufacturer.(Price of foundation needs to be quoted seperately at sr. no. 12 of this BOQ)

Fuel tank: In built daily service fuel tank as pe manufactures specification complete with all stndard accessories and fuel piping between fuel tank and diesel engine, complete with valves, levelindicator and accessories as required as per specification attached.

Exhaust system:Dry exhaust mainfold with hospital exhaust silencer and catalytic convertor

Starting System: 12V/24V DC starting system comprising of starter motor, voltage regulator and arrangement for initial excitation, complete with required nos of suitable batteries as required and as per specification.

Acoustic Enclosure: Acoustic and weather proof enclosure with arrangement for fresh air intake for cooling of the engine and alternator, extraction, discharging hot air in to the atmosphere as per specification attached.

AMF Panel: Supplying, installation, testing and commissioning of automatic mains failure control including auto By pass panel of 16SWG CRCA sheet with suitable rating of copper bus bar, suitable for 160KVA silent type DG site complete with relays, timers, set of CTs for metering & protection and energy analyser to indicate currents, phase and line voltages, frequency, power factor, KWH, KVARH & provision for overload, short circuit, restricted earth fault, under frequency, control cabling from AMF Panel to diesel Engine and else where if required all complete and inter locking including the following (Rates to be include in Item Sr. no. 1)

300Amps. (minimum) Four pole MCCB, with rotary operating mechanism with phase barriers - 2 nos. L&T Model (For mains and alternator)

300Amps (minimum) , FP power contactor (L&T model MNX- 300/ or suitable model of L&T) - 2 sets (For mains and alternator) with interlocking arrangement.

Micro processor based automatic mains failure function unit for emergency and stand by power supply system having under voltage, over voltage and single phasing protection and other standard features - 1 no.

Micro processor based IDMT relay for three phase over current + earth fault - 1 set.

Energy analyser unit to indicate, current, voltage, frequency, power factor and kWh

Phase indication lamps for DISCOM and Generator - 1 Set

Bakelite HRC fuses/ MCB and control wiring for the entire system - 1 Set

Indicating lamps for load on mains and load on set - 1 Set

Fuse for instruments - 1 Set

Sub Head "B" Earthing

Earthing with G.l. earth plate 600 mm X 600 mm X 6 mm thick including accessories, and providing masonry enclosure with cover plate having locking arrangement and watering pipe of 2.7 metre long etc. with charcoal/coke and salt as required.

Supplying and laying 25 mm X 5 mm G.l strip at 0.50 metre below ground as strip earth electrode, including connection/ terminating with G.l. nut, bolt, spring, washer etc. as required. (Jointing shall be done by overlapping and with 2 sets of G.l. nut bolt & spring washer spaced at 50mm)

Earthing with copper earth plate 600 mm X 600 mm X 3 mm thick including accessories, and providing masonry enclosure with cover plate having locking arrangement and watering pipe of 2.7 metre long etc. with charcoal/coke and salt as required.

Supplying and laying 25 mm X 5 mm copper strip at 0.50 metre below ground as strip earth electrode, including connection/ terminating with nut, bolt, spring, washer etc. as required. (Jointing shall be done by overlapping and with 2 sets of brass nut bolt & spring washer spaced at 50mm)

Laying of one no. PVC Insulated PVC sheathed XLPE power cable of 1.1 KV grade in existing RCC HUME/ METAL PIPE as reqd. a)up to 35 sq. mm.

Laying of one no. PVC insulated, PVC Sheathed XLPE/ power cable of 1.1 KV grade on wall Surface etc. as reqd. a)up to 35 sq. mm. ( Clamped with 1mm thick saddle)

Supplying and making end termination with brass compression gland and aluminium lugs for following size of PVC sheathed XLPE aluminium conductor cable of 1.1 KV grade as reqd. a) 3.5 X 185 sq. mm.(57 mm)

Providing laying& fixing of Gl pipe medium in ground complete with GI fitting including trenching (75 cm deep) & refilling etc. as required a) 65 mm dia

Supply of PVC insulated and PVC sheathed power cable of 1.1 KV grade armoured aluminium conductor cable confirming to IS 1554 Part I 1988 with up to date amendment of follwing size etc. as required of make of reputed brand under MII confirming to IS and IEC codes a) 3.5 X 185 Sq mm

Sub Head "C" Miscellaneous Items

Providing foundation and platform with CC of M15/M20/M25/ as per OEM standard for the 160 kVA Silent type DG set so as to place the above mentioned DG Set conforming to clause 2.5.1 of General specifications for Electrical Works Part - VII DG Sets 2013 including dismantling of exisitng paver block for preparation of foundation.
