Construction of embankment, sub grade and shoulders of new road with soil of minimum CBR (4 days soaked) of 8% obtained from borrow pit with all lead and lift transporting to site, spreading, grading to required slope and compacted to meet requirement of table 300-2 of MoRT&H specification clause No. 305. The finished road surface will be as per X-section approved by employer with respect to GTS. At no place top of sub grade of raised road will be less than 0.90 m above adjoining NSL. NSL for a block of 100m will be worked as mean of 6 levels taken on 20 m center to center length of road. These six levels are at three location on both side one at edge ROW. Other at 5 m and 10 m away from ROW. In case the quantity of earth work calculated with NSL and finished level found to be less than 40421.64 cum. Then actual quantity (less than 40421.64 cum) will be paid. In case quantity worked out is more than 40421.64 cum, then only 40421.64 cum will be paid. Excess quantity shall be incidental to work and nothing extra will be paid. Further it shall be ensured that atleast 500 mm of sub grade with earth of CBR 8% shall be constructed at each location. Wherever any cutting of existing subgrade is required on this account excavation as well as handling and disposal of earthwork to accommodate minimum 500mm thick subgrade of minimum 8% CBR shall be carried out by the agency at his own cost. Nothing extra will be paid on this account. Before start of work, L-section shall be got approved from the employer with respect to GTS. However, typical X-section attached at section 9 of DNIT.Note: - If soil of CBR 8% is not available then the agency will do appropriate stabilization as per IRC –SP-89-2010 as approved by SE-in-Charge and nothing extra shall be paid on this account and it will be incidental to work. No earth work will be allowed from PWD land.

Providing and laying 100 mm thick granular sub base consisting of filter layer confirming to Table 400.1 Grading - VI of MoRT&H 5th edition, mixing in a mechanical mix plant at OMC, carriage of mix material to the site of work, spreading in uniform layer with motor grader on prepared surface and compacting with vibratory power roller to achieve desired density complete as per clause No. 401 of MoRT&H specifications. Providing and laying tack coat with bitumen VG-10 grade pressure distributor at the rate of 0.30 kg. per sqm. On the prepared bitumen/granular surface cleaned with mechanical broom including cost of bitumen as per clause No.503 (5th edition) 2013 as per MoRT&H specification (N.S.)

Providing and Laying 50 mm thick Compacted bituminous macadam in (BM) in one layer by 100-120 TPH batch type hot mix plant and paver finisher with sensor control to the required grade as per clause No.504 table No. 500-4 of MoRT&H specification for road and bridge works (5th Revision) of 2013 using minimum 3.4% bitumen grade VG-30 as binder content by weight of total mix, complete in all respects i/c cost of bitumen, instruction issued from time to time by MoRT&H regarding machinery & bitumen will be followed strictly. The use of self propelled mechanical paver fitted with electronic sensor device conforming to MoRT&H specification in mandatory. If bitumen required is this account more than 3.4% as per job mix formula no extra payment will be made, extra bitumen required will be considered as incidental to work. Note: Before carrying out bituminous work, coating & Stripping of bitumen aggregate mix is to be performed in accordance with IS-6241. If coating and stripping of bitumen aggregate mix is less than 95%, anti-stripping agent will be used by contractor. The anti-stripping agent should conform to the requirement as stipulated in IS 14982:2017. The cost so incurred will be considered as incidental to work and noting extra shall be payable. The type and brand of anti-stripping agent along with procedure shall be approved by SE-in-Charge in writing before start of work. A proper record of results be maintained and same shall be submitted alongwith bills by the contractor.

Providing and laying 20mm thick premix carpet (PC) excluding cost of tack coat, with mixed material brought from Hot mix plant and laying with paver finisher and compacting with road roller to achieve specified value of compaction and direction of Engineer including cost of lighting arrangement, sign board and night watch, complete in all respect. i/c cost of Bitumen VG-10 grade as per clause 510 MoRT&H specification (5th edition) 2013 (NS) Note: Before carrying out bituminous work, coating & Stripping of bitumen aggregate mix is to be performed in accordance with IS-6241. Manufacturing supplying and laying of precast cement concrete rectangular block (0.45 M x 0.30 M x 0.15 M ) of M-30 grade using minimum cement contents 320Kg/ per cum with digital batching plant duly compacted with table vibration including setting in position over bed prepared with 25mm thick fine sand and filling up the joints with fine sand. (N.S.)

Providing and laying 80mm thick ISI marked interlocking paver blocks confirming to IS : 15658:2006/IRC SP 63-2004 of all shapes and colours in design mix cement M-40 over a bed of 30mm thick fine sand complete in all respects. [HSR 10.159]

Dry brick on edge paving sand grouted over 50mm thick earth on subgrade prepared as per PWD specification 24.1, including cost of preparation of subgrade (NS).

Providing and marking centre line / side line 2.5 mm thick (minimum) with hot applied thermo-plastic road marking paint 10 Cms wide/ 15cm wide complete in all respects as furnishing all labour, materials, tolls, equipments including all incidental costs necessary for carrying out in work at site conforming to the technical specification as clause No. 803 of MORT&H specification for road and bridge works (5th revision) of 2013/Latest edition. Each container of the thermoplastic material shall have the name, trademark or other means of identification of manufacturer, batch number, date of manufacture, color maximum application temperature and maximum heating temperature. The thermoplastic paint material shall be of Asian Paint–Apcomark/Berger–Sigmarc/Prismo. The glass beads shall be of Potters/Sovitec/Flexolite. The thermoplastic material shall be sampled and tested in accordance with appropriate ASTM/BS method. The contractor shall furnish to the Engineer – in – charge a copy of certified test reports from the manufacturer of the thermoplastic material meet all requirements of the specifications. The reflextorizing glass beads shall meet the requirements of clause – 803.4.2 and test methods mentioned in clause – 803.4.2.4 shall be meticulously followed. The minimum thickness specified is exclusive of surface of glass beads. The method of thickness measurement shall be in accordance with appendix B and C of BS: 3262 (Part – 3).Note:- Before start of the work the contractor shall give brand, batch no., manufacturing date of the material to be used and get approved the same from Engineer-In-Charge before use.

Providing & fixing public information board consisting of 75 mm GI Pipe of size 2.45 m x 1.15 m with 900 mm x 900 mm GI sheet 16 gauge connected/ welded with 5 mm thick steel plate of 50 mm duly painted as per column mentioned in the Drawing and fixing at site in 60 x 60 x 75 cm3 cement concrete 1:2:4 block complete in all respect.

Earth work in excavation of foundation and tenches of underground structure and other similar works in ordinary soil, existing pavement including dressing of bottom and side to correct level and templates, d-watering, diversion of traffic, fixing ad maintenance of caution boards and night signals, watching stacking of excavated soil clear from edge of excavation and subjsequent back back filling around and top of structures in 15 cm compacted layers and disposal os surplus soil govt. land with all lead & lift. complete as per the direction of Engineer incharge as per Technical Specifications clause 304. Back filling using excavated suitable earth material behind retaining walls and in the median including compaction complete (as per Technical Specification clause 710.1.4 of IRC 78 & 2200 Based on MORT&H No. 13.9).

Providing and laying of Filter media with granular material/stone crushed aggregates satisfying the requirements laid down in clause 2504.2.2 of MoRTH specifications to a thickness of not less than 600 mm with smaller size towards the soil and bigger size towards the wall and provided over the entire surface behind abutment, wing wall and return wall to the full height compacted to a firm condition complete as per drawing and Technical specification Clauses 710.1.4 of IRC 78 & 2200 Based on MORT&H No. 13.10)

Providing and laying plain cement concrete M-15 (aggregate 20 mm nominal size) using OPC of grade 43 under the foundation. The rate shall include the cost of all labour material etc complete job including bailing out water to keep the area dry as per instruction of Engineer in charge. payment shall be made based on approved plan dimesions for PCC (MORT&H No. 12.39) Clause 1500, 1700 & 2100.

Providing and laying Reinforced cement concrete grade M-35 in cast in situ RCC Box Structures etc. including shuttering, Staging, centring, scaffolding complete as per Drawing and Technical Specifications with batching plant, transit mixer and concrete pump complete as per Technical Specification Section 1200, 1500, 1700 & 2100. RW/NH-33022/1/94-DO III dated24 June 1994 as per dimensions in the approved drawing including the item of supplying fabricating, and fixing mettalic railing on top of the concrete crash barriers conforming as per drawingand at locations directed by the Engineer in charge. all as specified MORT&H No. 8.22 Clause 809.

Providing and fixing 65 mm dia G.I. Pipe hand rail over the crash barrier kerb consisting of MS base plate, embedded fasterner and nuts, MS vertical plates and G.I. pipes etc., as shown in the drawings and as per specifications and painting the same with 3 or more coats of paints. all the railling components as mentioned above to be hot dip galvanised with a zinc coating of at least 175 gm/sqm. Item to include all incidental works required to complete the works as per the directions of the Engineer-in-charge. (NS)

Providing and laying 450 mm thick granular sub base consisting of drainage layer confirming to Table 400.1 Grading –VI of MoRT&H 5th edition, mixing in a mechanical mix plant at OMC, carriage of mix material to the site of work, spreading in uniform layer with motor grader on prepared surface and compacting with vibratory power roller to achieve desired density complete as per clause No. 401 of MoRT&H specifications. Providing & Laying 40mm thick compacted Bituminous Concrete (BC) in one layer with drum type hot mix plant and with a hydrostatic paver finisher with sensor control to the required grade, level and alignment, rolling with appropriate rollers to achieve the desired compaction as per clause No. 507 MoRT&H specification (5th Revision) 2013 for road and bridge works (5th Revision)2013 using minimum 5.4% to bitumen grade VG-30 as binder content by weight of total mix, complete in all respects including cost of bitumen instruction issued from time to time by MoRT&H regarding machinery & bitumen will be followed strictly. Providing and laying 25mm thick mastic asphalt wearing course with paving grade bitumen VG-30 meeting the requirements given in table 500-29, prepared by using mastic cooker and laid to required level and slope after cleaning the surface, including providing antiskid surface with bitumen precoated fine-grained hard stone chipping of 13.2 mm nominal size at the rate of 0.005 cum per 10 sqm and at an approximate spacing of 10 cm center to center in both directions, pressed into surface when the temperature of surfaces not less than 1000C, protruding 1 mm to 4 mm over mastic surface, all complete as per clause 515. (MoRT&H no. 5.14)

Clearing and grubing road land including uprooting rank vegetation, grass, bushes, shrubs, saplings and trees girth up to 300 mm, removal of stumps of trees cut earlier and disposal of unserviceable materials and stacking of serviceable material to be used or auctioned upto a lead 1000 mtr. including removal and disposal of top organic soil not exceeding 150 mm in thickness as per Techincal specificaiton clause 201 (MoRT&H No. 2.3).

Providing and Laying reinforced cement concrete 1000 mm dia pipe NP4 prestressed concrete pipe for culverts on first class bedding of granular material in single row including fixing collar with cement mortar 1:2 but excluding excavation, protection works, backfilling concrete and masonry work in head walls and parapets as per Technical clause 2900 (MoRT&H 9).

Pointing with cement mortar (1:3) on brick work in substructure as per technical specification (MoRT&H 13.2)

Construction of embankment with approved material obtained from borrowpits with all lifts and leads, transporting to site, spreading, grading to required slope and compacting to meet requirement of Table 300-2 as per clause 305 of MoRT&H specification. (MoRT&H no. 3.16)

Recovery items:- The rates quoted against recovery items will not be included in the total amount rather it will be deducted while calculating financial statement of the agency. Material obtained from dismantling of existing brick work and existing bituminous layer have been calculated taking assumption that 80% of theoretical material will be retrieved. The dismantled material can used in any of the item for the work after modification (bringing it to required specifications) after approval from employer. In case it is not possible to use this material on the work, the agency can take away this material. This material can be taken away by the agency at the price quoted by the agency but minimum price to be quoted is limited to reserve price as fixed and mentioned as under:- (i)Good Bricks @ 4.50/- Each Note: - All quantities of the above materials have been worked out on the basis of theoretical quantities laid on this road. However, agency may visit site before quoting rates and assess the extent of retrieved material. There shall be no measurement after actual dismantling and if material after dismantling is found on lesser side, no claim of agency on this score will be entertained and full recovery on the basis of quoted rate and quantity exhibited in the BOQ shall be made. The reserve rates are minimum rates to be used as base for quoting purchase rate by the agency. No rates below the reserve price will be entertained and reserve price will be considered for all purposes in case the agency quotes lesser than reserve price.
