Providing and Laying Synthetic Acrylic Sports Flooring over Existing Concrete Surface for Practice Volleyball and Lawn Tennis Wall at IIT Ropar

Providing and Laying 200 GSM Geo Fabric Crack-Resistant Cushioning Mat System over the existing concrete surface, including seaming of concrete joints with fibre reinforcement tap on all sides of the court area , treating joints and cracks, and laying of 2.3 mm to 3.0 mm thick sports cushioning mat/carpet of approved make to reinforce and enhance the cushioning performance of the sports flooring system, complete in all respects as per manufacturer's specifications and directions of the Engineer-in-Charge.

5 Layers – ITF Approved Acrylic Cushion Sports Flooring System Providing and applying 5 Layers of ITF-approved acrylic cushion sports flooring system of approved make over the prepared resurfacer coat, comprising 4 layers of synthetic acrylic cushion/all-court flooring system and 1 layer of Hybrid Waterborne PU Top Coat Finish, suitable for Tennis Court, Basketball Court and Volleyball Court applications. The system shall provide enhanced playing comfort, shock absorption, durability, slip resistance and consistent sports performance. The Hybrid Waterborne PU Top Coat shall provide a durable, low-maintenance, eco-friendly, all-weather, UV-resistant and abrasion-resistant finish. The complete flooring system shall be applied strictly in accordance with the manufacturer's specifications to achieve a seamless and uniform sports surface, complete in all respects and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge. First Layer/ Coat – Concrete Primer Providing and Applying One Coat of Concrete Primer on the prepared existing concrete surface, using approved sports flooring primer, to act as a bonding agent between the concrete substrate and subsequent acrylic coating layers. The primer shall reduce the porosity of the concrete surface, improve adhesion of the acrylic sports flooring system, assist in sealing minor surface imperfections and hairline cracks, and provide a uniform and stable base for further acrylic coating applications, complete in all respects as per the direction by the Engineer-in-Charge. Second Layers – Acrylic Resurfacer ( Two Layers to be done) Providing and Applying Two Layers of Acrylic Resurfacer over the primed concrete surface using approved acrylic resurfacer material to provide a smooth, uniform, and textured playing surface. The resurfacer shall fill minor surface imperfections and irregularities, improve surface consistency and ball bounce characteristics, and ensure proper adhesion and bonding of the subsequent cushion and colour coating layers,complete in all respects as per the direction by the Engineer-in-Charge.

Third Layer – Acrylic Colour Sand Mix Paint (Dana Paint) Providing and Applying One Layer of Acrylic Colour Sand Mix Paint (Dana Paint) over the prepared acrylic cushion surface using approved sports flooring material, to provide a durable, textured, non-slip, and aesthetically pleasing playing surface. The coating shall enhance surface grip, improve player traction, provide uniform colour consistency, and ensure a wear-resistant finish suitable for outdoor sports applications,complete in all respects as per the direction by the Engineer-in-Charge. Fourth Layer – Acrylic Top Coat Finish with Court Colour Scheme and Line Marking Providing and Applying One Layer of Acrylic Top Coat Finish over the prepared acrylic sports flooring surface using approved sports-grade acrylic coating material, including colour coding of the playing area (e.g., Blue Inner Playing Area and Green Outer Area, or approved colour combination) to enhance visibility for players and spectators. The top coat shall provide a durable, UV-resistant, weather-resistant, non-slip and aesthetically pleasing finish. Court Marking with White Acrylic Line Marking Paint Providing and Applying Court Markings using approved white acrylic line marking paint over the completed acrylic cushioned sports flooring surface, strictly in accordance with the applicable game standards, court dimensions, and specifications for the respective sports facility. The markings shall be straight, uniform, durable, and clearly visible. The acrylic cushioned sports flooring system shall provide a comfortable, resilient, and enjoyable playing surface with enhanced player comfort, shock absorption, and sports performance. The work shall be carried out complete in all respects as per the direction of the Engineer-in-Charge. Note: The complete acrylic sports flooring system shall carry a minimum 03 (Three) years warranty against peeling, cracking, delamination, and manufacturing defects.
