Disposal of building rubbish / malba / similar unserviceable, dismantled or waste materials by mechanical means, including loading, transporting, unloading to approved municipal dumping ground or as approved by Engineer-in-charge, beyond 50 m initial lead, for all leads including all lifts involved.
Earthwork in excavation in all kinds of soil with hydraulic excavator of 0.9 cum bucket capacity including cutting and loading in tippers, trimiming bottom and side slopes in accordance with requirements of lines, grades and cross sections and transporting to embankment location with all lifts and leads within airport premises as per satisfaction and direction of Engineer-In-Charge. Note- Earth Excavated in this item shall be used either for construction of Embankment or filling in depression in Basic strip/Runway strip or anywhere inside Airport premises as per the direction of the E-I-C and shall be paid as per measurements of Item No. 27. If any quantity of Earth shall be disposed elsewhere inside Airport premises, then it shall be levelled, dressed and compacted as per the direction of the E-I-C.
Earth work in excavation by mechanical means (Hydraulic excavator)/manual means over areas (exceeding 30 cm in depth, 1.5 m in width as well as 10 sqm on plan) including getting out and disposal of excavated earth lead upto 50 m and lift upto 1.5 m, as directed by Engineer-in-charge. Hard rock (blasting prohibited) Note- Earth Excavated in this item shall be used either for construction of Embankment or filling in depression in Basic strip/Runway strip or anywhere inside Airport premises as per the direction of the E-I-C and shall be paid as per measurements of Item No. 27. If any quantity of Earth shall be disposed elsewhere inside Airport premises, then it shall be levelled, dressed and compacted as per the direction of the E-I-C.
Supplying and filling moorum/suitable earth obtained from approved quarry in embankment or depressions in Basic Strip / Runway Strip or anywhere inside Airport premises as per the direction of E-I-C, in layers not exceeding 20cm (loose) in depth (or any thickness as approved by the Engineer-in-Charge in case vibratory roller / soil compactor is used) including breaking clods, watering, consolidating each layer with power road roller 8-10 tonnes weight or vibratory roller / soil compactor of adequate capacity under optimum moisture content condition to give at least 98% of the maximum laboratory dry density (modified proctor density) as per IS code 2720 (part VIII) complete including leveling fine dressing to the required grade, camber and slope complete as per MORTH specifications and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge with all leads and lifts (The quoted rate of item shall includes the cost of work, payment of necessary royalty, carriage of moorum / suitable earth upto work site for all leads and lifts involved from all sources acquired or arranged by the Contractor and any restrictions at site for entry/exit and for working in non-operational hours if any. Payment to be made for compacted quantity only).
Providing, laying, spreading and compacting graded stone aggregate (size range 53 mm to 0.075 mm ) to wet mix macadam (WMM) specification including premixing the material with water at OMC in for all leads & lifts, laying in uniform layers with mechanical paver finisher in sub- base / base course on well prepared surface and compacting with vibratory roller of 8 to 10 tonne capacity to achieve the desired density, complete as per specifications and directions of Engineer-in-Charge.
Construction of dry lean cement concrete sub base over a prepared sub-grade with coarse and fine aggregate conforming to IS:383, the size of coarse aggregate not exceeding 25 mm, aggregate cement ratio not to exceed 15:1, aggregate gradation after blending to be as per specifications, cement content not to be less than 150 Kg/cum, optimum moisture content to be determined during trial length construction, concrete strength not to be less than 10 Mpa at 7 days, mixed in a batching plant, transported to site, for all leads & lifts, laid with a mechanical paver, compacting with 8-10 tonne vibratory roller, finishing and curing etc. complete as per direction of Engineerin- in-charge.
Providing and laying design mix cement concrete of M-30 grade, in roads/ taxi tracks/ runways, using cement content as per design mix, using coarse sand and graded stone aggregate of 40 mm nominal size in appropriate proportions as per approved & specified design criteria, providing dowel bars with sleeve/ tie bars wherever required, laying at site, spreading and compacting mechanically by using needle and surface vibrators, levelling to required slope/ camber, finishing with required texture, including steel form work with sturdy M.S. channel sections, curing, making provision for contraction/ expansion, construction & longitudinal joints (10 mm wide x 50 mm deep) by groove cutting machine, providing and filling joints with approved joint filler and sealants, complete all as per direction of Engineer-in-charge (Item of joint fillers, sealants, dowel bars with sleeve/ tie bars to be paid separately). Note:- Cement content considered in M-30 is @ 340 kg/cum. Excess/ less cement used as per design mix is payable/ recoverable separately. Cement concrete manufactured in automatic batching plant (RMC plant) i/c transportation to site in transit mixer Note 1. For execution of this item, contractor must deploy atleast 60 M of steel Form work on both sides of Pavement with sturdy single M.S. Channel section of 250mm height/depth. Contractor must not be allowed to put smaller sections/multiple channel sections, one over the another. Note 2. Contractor shall bring RMC of M-30 grade as per approved design mix only from the approved RMC manufacturers from the list of approved makes of cement. Before placing any order contractor shall have to take approval of E-I-C. Note 3. RMC M-30 shall be laid for Roads only by way of pumping of concrete upto the site of laying. Transit mixer shall not be allowed to pour concrete directly inside the shuttering and shall not be allowed to enter inside the shuttering/panel. Decision of E-I-C in this regard shall be final and binding on contractor. Note 4. For detailed specifications of this item contractor must read Para 16.37 of CPWD Specifications 2019 Vol. II. Contractor must quote his rate of this item after taking all above instructions and specifaications in account. Quoted rate of contractor must include all expenditure on above stated instructions and specifications.
Add for using extra cement in the items of design mix over and above the specified cement content therein.
