Earth work excavation for Pipe Laying work by removing dense medium rock using controlled blasting method by drilling blast holes using compressor and jack hammer including dewatering wherever necessary, cost of gelatin, electric detonator, licensed shot fireman, labour for filling earth in gunny bags, labour for excavation of earth, conveyance of earth including cost of gunny bags, M.S Plates, barricading, putting up road diversion boards and providing red light signal during night, removal of debris etc., where open blasting is prohibited and as directed by TWAD Board Officers. Construction of manholes of different depths as per type desing/drawiong on sewer ling and provided with tight fitting FRC manhole frames and covers of 600mm dia of approved make and provision of encapsulated PVC foot rests. The manhole shall be of brickwork (with approved Country Kiln Burnt bricks of size 8 3/4" x 4 1/4" x 2 3/4") in CM 1:5 and plastered with CM 1:3 20mm thick inside and 12mm thick outside as per type design. Benching and Channeling should be provided in the Manhole and suitable diameter pipes for house service connection (Not exceeding 6Nos for each Manhole) to be left in the manholes as directed by the Engineer in charge. The rate shall include earthwork, backfilling and de-watering wherever necessary Barricading, provision of danger lights as directed by the Engineer-in charge etc complete as per standard specification

Barricading work (Where, there is less traffic areas and broader roads etc.) for laying of pipe line using casurina poles at 1.50m center to center (8cm to 10cm dia and 1.80m height) vertical with horizontal poles in three rows including painting the vertical poles in the road facing sides with ready mix paint, tying the vertical and horizontal poles with coir rope including fixing charges and fixing 75mm dia reflectors including earth work excavation for fixing vertical posts and finally removing and stacking the materials safely for further use etc., complete and as directed by TWAD Board officers. Plain Cement Concrete 1:2:4 (one cement, two crushed stone sand and four hard broken stone jelly) using 20mm jelly for wearing coat including laying, compacting, finishing and curing, etc., complete as per standard specificatins and as directed by the departmental officers. (DATA 2024-25 PAGE -6)
