Earth work in foundation or cutting by mechanical means (Hydraulic excavator)/ manual means in all heights and depths in all kinds of soil including saturated soils comprising of pick work, jumper work and blasting work both in soft and hard rock with chiesling and wedging out of rock (where blasting is prohibited and their intermediate classifications soils including dewatering where ever required, setting out to required lines, levels as shown on the drawing and directed by the Engineer-in-charge at site, according to the CPWD specification and sorting out useful and unuseful material and transportation of the unuseful material for disposing of all surplus earth at dumping site including prescribed dumping charges (which will be arranged by the contractor himself at his own cost within MC area or out site on private land) to the satisfaction of Engineer-in-Charge through all modes of transportation including head load, animal load or mechanical means along with its levelling fine dressing and with all kinds of labour machineries, tools equipments and safety measures and incidentals necessary to complete the work wise mechanical means and labour (if required) all useful material such as stones,shingles aggregate and slates shall be properly stacked at site to the meximum possible extent in all leads and lifts through all modes of transportation and used/removed as per the direction of Engineer-in-charge. Any loss to the public and private property during the course of execution and disposal of serviceable and unserviceable materials shall be the absolute responsibility of the contractor and shall have to be duly compensated by him in all respect including all incidental charges:- :- All kinds of soil.
