PART I : CIVIL WORKS

ck masonry work using well burnt bricks from approved lot of class designation 3.5 / 7.5 (as specified) (classification as per IS:1077-1992 and min. average compression strength not less than 3.5 / 7.5 N/mm2, as specified) in cement mortar 1: 6 or using ready mix mortar (1.4), (as specified), to correct line, level and plumb including raking out joints, curing, scaffolding all as per specifications, drawings and as directed by Engineer in charge. Note: 1) The contractor shall get approved the samples of bricks / AAC block from the Engineer-In-Charge before procurement on large scale and shall maintain the same for the entire work. 2) Necessary Openings/ nitches/ pipe sleeves/ cut-outs, wherever required as per drawings and asked for by the Engineer-In-Charge, shall be provided by the contractor without any extra cost. 3) One masonry wall thickness shall be considered as 230 mm and half brick wall as 115mm and lesser wall thickness if any shall be made up to the required dimensions by the contractor in cement mortar 1:4 to proper line, level and plumb without any extra cost to the Department. 4) The rate shall include cost of making brick / AAC block masonry to all geometrical shapes and sizes without any extra cost to the Department.
Providing and fixing precoated with high durable polyester paint G.I CRCA 0.5 mm (min) thick steel sheets manufactured by M/s. Essar/ Jindal steel sheets make in SR-25 module of Stucco fixing over RCC/ existing MS/ strcutural steel framework roof on M S /.G.Iframe at all floor and locations, including necessary ridges and gable ends including bending in required angle , valley and over lapping shall be 200 mm, fixing the sheet with self tapping SS Screws fixed with machine with bituminous washers/ GI bolt of 8 mm dia. The base metal shall be CRCA Steel having minimum yield strength of 240 MPa and minimum UTS of 280 MPa, Galvanized to 120 gsm zinc coating mass (total both sides) as per I S: 277 or conforming to AS: 3566 Class 3 of rust shield/ corroshield make including grouting over RCC slab/ columns/ Cast- in- situ PCC blocks in line level and level, at all levels including necessary scaffolding etc. complete all as per approved drawing and as directed by Engineer- in- Charge. Mode of measurement: Top plan width X Length of sheet after fixing shall be measured for payment. Corrugation, overlaps shall not be measured. SPECIFICATION: The steel sheets conforming to M/s. Essar/ Jindal steel make in SR 25 Module, shall have pretreatment by Dip/electro process, using pre-activation, zinc phosphate dip and final chrome rinse (trivalent chrome) on both surfaces, each of average DFT 5 microns, followed by a finish coat of specially formulated polyester paint in METASHIELD TM EPG TM of average DFT 20 microns, on the exposed surface and same specially formulated in METASHIELD ® appoved shade to and average DFT 5 micron. The total coated thickness of metal, inclusive of galvanization, chemical treatment, primer and finished coats shall not be less than 0.50 mm. Note: 1) Test of materials shall be carried out on sheets, as per relevant I.S codes before acceptance and bulk supply. 2) Contractor shall arrange predispatch inspection of material before bulk procurement at factory. 3) All tests of material shall be done to every 3500 m2 . Material lot shall be rejected it tests results fail. 4) The sheet shall be fixed in a best workman like manner in line and level.

Providing and fixing double scaffolding system (cup lock type) on the exterior side, up to seven story height made with 40 mm dia M.S. tube 1.5 m centre to centre, horizontal & vertical tubes joining with cup & lock system with M.S. tubes, M.S. tube challies, M.S. clamps and M.S. staircase system in the scaffolding for working platform etc. and maintaining it in a serviceable condition for the required duration as approved and removing it thereafter. The scaffolding system shall be stiffened with bracings, runners, connection with the building etc wherever required for inspection of work at required locations with essential safety features for the workmen etc. complete as per directions and approval of Engineer-in-charge. The elevational area of the scaffolding shall be measured for payment purpose. The payment will be made once irrespective of duration of scaffolding.
Demolishing brick work manually/ by mechanical means including stacking of serviceable material and disposal of unserviceable material within 50 metres lead as per direction of Engineer-in-charge.

Earth work in excavation by mechanical means (Hydraulic excavator) or manual means in foundation trenches or drains, including dressing of sides and ramming of bottoms, dewatering with pump, shoring, strutting, etc., with all lifts up to 1.5 m and lead up to 500m, including getting out the excavated soil and disposal of surplus excavated soil as directed, within an anushaktinagar, complete all as directed by the engineer-in-charge.

Providing a temporary proping support to the RCC Slab, Beam with the help of 'C' class pipe adjustable MS prop having length of about 5 m with full opening with top & bottom to be fitted with teak wood section over even surface. this supporting shall be carried out till the completion of the work withoput damaging any surroundings etc. all as directed by EIC.
Removing & disposing off outside dispensary compound to municipal dumping ground the existing PVC water tank from any height, having capacity of approximately 3000 to 5000 ltr including it's all incoming/ outgoing connections pipes, valves etc. also need to remove any support systems & diposite silts, sands into it etc. complete all as directed by Engineer-In-Charge.
Reinforced cement concrete of grade M-35 in sub structure/super structure conforming to IS 456-2000 (Cement @ 350Kg/Cum), at all floors and levels for all structural members in all geometrical shapes/ design as per drawings & relevent IS codes using graded stone aggregate of20mm and down graded including machine mixing, conveying, placing, Centerin
g, Shuttering in all position, mechanical compaction/ consolidation, proper finishing, hatching, curing for 7 days, etc. complete all as per drawings, specifications & as directed by Engineer in Charge.

Providing and fixing in position steel bars reinforcement of various diameters for R.C.C. pile, pile caps, footings, raft, retaining wall, shear wall, lift wall, foundations, slabs, beams, columns, canopies, staircases, newels, chajjas, lintels, pardies, coping, fins, arches, etc. as per detailed designs, drawings and bar bending schedules including straightening, cutting, bending, hooking the bars, binding with wires or tack welding, supporting as required etc. all complete at all levels. Note : Cost of binding wires shall be borne by the agency & it will not be measured for payment.

Repairs to damaged RCC structural members at all locations/ floors using polymer modified cementatious mortar, for strengthening the existing RCC structural members using acrylic based polymer and comprising the following operations: 1. Breaking cracked / spalled concrete members along the cracks with plaster, including removing and stacking of all unserviceable material at site,simultaneous transportation and disposed at a location in Anushaktinagar as identified by EIC. complete all as per specifications and as directed by the Engineer-in Charge. 2. Exposing and cleaning the reinforcement thoroughly by light tapping / wire brushing of using strong emery paper and finally by acetone /rust remover of Dr. Fixit / Anuvi chemicals / Fosroc or other eqivalent. 3. Applying a coat of polymer and cement slurry in the ratio 1:1 by volume to the reinforcement bars. 4. Polymer required for the work shall be procured by the Agency from approved Manufacturers Like M/s Astra , M/s Anuvi, M/s Apcotex or other approved equivalent manufacturer confirming to technical requirements as below and the invoices/challans etc to be submitted to EIC for record. Appearance: Milky white Ph- value : 9-10 Specific gravity : 1.055+/-0.005 Solid contents(%w/w)-: 44+/-1 Viscocity at 25 degree C temperature (in sec): 15-20 Testing of the material as per relevant codes at NABL approved third party Lab. is to be done by the Agency for every batch/lot of supply. 5. Bond coat should be applied @ 0.37 ltr./layer/sq.m. 6. Minimum FM of silica sand should be 2.10

Providing and fixing the Mechanical Anchor Fasteners as specified below of Hilti Make confirming to IS 1367 (Part 3) or ant relevent code of practice at required locations and level including drilling the hole, cleaning and anchoring the bolt as per drawings & as per manufacturers specifications etc. complete as directed by Engineer In Charge.

Sand faced cement plaster 20 mm thick in CM 1:4, two coats using factory manufactured pre mix/ready mix of 'Roofit Mix'of M/s Premier Floor to Roof Materials pvt.ltd/ 'Easy plast' of M/s Walplast Products pvt.ltd/ 'Readiplast' of M/s Ultratech Cement Ltd or other approved equivalent make, having minimum composition of C:S :: 1:4 using fully treated dry, well graded natural sand conforming to IS 383 suitable for external plastering, having low rebound properties, low water demand for curing properties, mechnical mixing with water in a metalic tray only to make good consistency as per the specification of the Manufacturer and applied over exterior masonry and concrete surfaces with base coat of 12 mm thick and finishing coat of 8 mm thick final rendering,including using richer mix for making corners if necessary, at all floors and level, including scaffolding, making grooves of existing size wherever required, including cleaning the surfaces, curing etc. including removing existing damaged/ worn out plastering and disposing off debris outside colony etc. complete all as per specifications & as directed by the Engineer-in-charge
Cement plastering 15mm thick using factory manufactured pre mix/ready mix mortar in CM 1:4 of 'Roofit Mix'of M/s Premier Floor to Roof Materials pvt.ltd/ 'Easy plast' of M/s Walplast Products pvt.ltd/ 'Readiplast' of M/s Ultratech Cement Ltd or other approved equivalent make, having minimum composition of C:S :: 1:4 using fully treated dry, well graded natural sand conforming to IS 383 suitable for external plastering, having low rebound properties, low water demand for curing properties, mechnical mixing with water in a metalic tray only to make good consistency as per the specification of the Manufacturer and applied on internal wall and ceiling finished smooth with pop over brick walls or concrete surfaces at all floors and levels, including membrane curing by applying one coat of factory made curing compound Resikure of M/s Anuvi Chemicals, Concure of M/s fosroc, Dr. Fixit curing compound or other equivalent over repaired surfaces as per manufacturer's specification etc. and it also includes removing of existing damaged/ worn out/ loose plastering and disposing off outside Dispensary premises within Anushakti Nagar at location identified by EIC etc. complete all as per specifications and as directed by EIC.
Providing and applying one coat of base coat (Apex Ultima protect of M/s. Asian paints OR Aquatech of M/s ICI Dulux ) or equivalent and two top coats of acrylic water proof exterior coating paint of Apex Ultima Protek of M/s. Asian Paints / Weathershield flexxrainproof system of M/s. ICI Dulux or other approved equivalent make and shade over the sand face/ form finished surfaces / rough cast plaster at all locations as required, thoroughly mixed and applied at an interval of 6-8 hours for each successive coats and ensure strict consumption as per manufacturer specification at all location & heights including steel tubular heavy double scaffolding by complying all it's relevant IS codes, surface preparation like jet washing to remove all dirt, all loose paint film etc., cutting/ cleaning and filling the hairline cracks and crevices with Latex caulking crack filler etc. complete all as per the manufacturer's specification/ recommendations and as directed by the Engineer-in-charge.
Repairing to the existing RCC structural members (vertical or horizontal) using ready mix Micro Concrete of approved brand where the thickness of repair is more than 30 mm and upto 115 mm. It can be used for carrying out extensive repairs to beams, columns and other structural elements, repairing of structural members subjected to repetitive loading & for jacketing of beams, columns and other structural elements for strengthening.
a) Over sand faced plastered / Form finished surfaces
Providing and fixing at all floors and levels machine cut machine polished natural granite stones as mentined below for all geometrical shape without any joints for one/each plane, cutting for framing of door, window in sandwitch form, dado, flooring, skirting, cladding etc and including necessary cement mortar for backing with full face araldite coating with quartx sand spreading for better bond, bedding, close jointed and grouted with matching cement slurry and finished to line, slope, level, plumb, curing, cleaning of stone slabs, wastage, making cut outs wherever required, as per drawing & pattern including removing old frame from windows, door frame, floor, dado stacking serviceable materials and disposal of debris outside colony etc complete all as per specifications and as directed by Engineer in charge. Note :Exposed surface on Elevation & exposed vertical finished face shall be measured for payment in sqm. Overlapping & edges etc shall not be measured.
(a) 18 mm thick granite stone of steel grey, Lavender blue, brown or any other shade given by an architect for all geometrical shape, steps dado, skirting/cladding with stone slabs of various size in pattern including 12-18 mm thick 1:3 cement mortar bedding and applying Araldalite to the back of the Granite stone for fixing etc., complete as directed by Engineer-in-charge.
(b) 25 mm thick granite stone of steel grey, Lavender blue, brown or any other shade given by an architect for all geometrical shape, steps dado, skirting/cladding with stone slabs of various size in pattern including 25 mm thick 1:3 cement mortar bedding and applying Araldalite to the back of the Granite stone for fixing etc., complete as directed by Engineer-in-charge.
Providing and fixing stainless steel (Grade 304) railing made of Hollow tubes, channels, plates etc., including welding, grinding, buffing, polishing and making curvature and fitting the same with necessary stainless steel nuts, bolts including fixing the railing with necessary accessories & stainless steel dash fasteners , stainless steel bolts etc.including removing of any exiting railing for all lead & lift both for dismantling & fitting etc, of required size, on the top of the floor or the side of waist slab with suitable arrangement as per approval of Engineer-in charge, (for payment purpose only weight of stainless steel members shall be considered excluding fixing accessories such as nuts, bolts, fasteners etc.).
Providing, detailing, composite fabricating members like Trusses, N-girders, girders, bracings, supports, purlins, runners, and similar structural steel members fabricated using M.S. hollow tubular steel sections (circular & rectangular pipes), of TATA Structural Make or equivalent conforming to IS 1239 part 1 and 2 and of grade Fe 250 as per specifications and approved fabri
cation drawings (which are to be prepared by Contractor and got approved from Engineer), including transportation of the same to site, erection of structural steel members for all heights & at all levels, provision of necessary erection bolts, fixing bolts, nuts, washers, cleats, stiffeners, gussets, base plate, and all necessary operations like preheating as per specifications, straightening, bending, cutting, drilling, grinding, machining if specified, welding, grinding, removing the welding burr and preparing surface for painting with wire brush cleaning and applying two coats of epoxy red oxide zinc phosphate primer of 30 microns each and two coats of Epoxy Corrosion Resistant Enamel paint of 30 microns after fabrication including touching up with spray painting after erection etc complete as directed by Engineer In Charge.
Providing and Fixing 12mm thick Toughened glass shutter in partition, leaf/ sliding door make of M/s Modiguard/ saint Gobain or other approved equivalent including providing and fixing necessary SS dept approved patch fittings make of M/s Dorma or equivalent to be fixed at top & bottom movement etc., EPDM gasket/Neoprane gasket cutting, wastage including necessary scaffolding etc. disposal of debris out side Dispensary complete all as per specifications and as directed by the EIC (Note :- Only the clear opening of glass shall be measured for payment) The Aluminium snap beading if required for work shall be measured and paid under relevant item.
Providing and applying at all levels approved silicone sealant at the junction of wall and ventilators or windows as directed including complete scrapping removing of old silicone, wherever required or instructed by the Engineer etc. including necessary arrangements of scaffolding etc. complete as specified in manufacturers specificaitons and directed.
