REPAIR AND RESURFACING OF EXTERNAL ROAD AND CEMENT CONCRETE ROAD FROM DIV CHOWK TO TATRA CHOWK UNDER AGE B/R-III GE(A) JAISALMER

M&L for Premix bituminous macadam of paving bitumen of VG-30 grade with 4% binder content by weight of total mix, any penetration laid /rolled and compacted to required gradient and camber (consolidated thickness 75 mm or less) complete rolling to uniform smooth surface with 8 to 10 ton power road roller complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

M&L for preparing of existing black top surfaces by brushing with steel wire brushes for removing caked mud etc. sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surface with gunny bags to remove all loose dirt etc. complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

M&L for applying evenly a tack coat of Cationic Bitumen Emulsion (RS-1) conforming to IS: 8887 at a rate of application of 0.25 kg/sqm on bituminous surface as specified in Table 500-5 of MoRTH specification for road and bridge works 2013, using mechanical sprayer after cleaning of existing surface as specified and directed by mechanical sprayer complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

M&L for Bituminous premixed semi-dense asphaltic concrete 30mm thick (consolidated thickness) in single layer with 5.5% binder (Paving bituminous VG-30 grade) content , mixed in hot mix plant using design mix and laid by mechanical paver and rolled and compacted with using 8 to 10 tonne cap vibratory power roller to achive the required compactness, camber and gradien finish complete including (cutting of edges of road straight and site clearance) etc complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

M&L for preparing bituminous surfaces of road and marking 2.0mm thick centre lines, stop lines, dashes, arrows, etc and the like n exc 15cm wide roads with roads pavements with hot applied thermo plastiv road marking paint of approved colour confirming to BS 3262-1989 with special applicator machine al as per manufacturers instruction complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Make - CMS Bombay/Shivalik/Prime-Chandigarh /Ritacto-Meerut/SN Industries-Delhi as approved by GE.

S&F in repairs cat eye reflective type of metal body alloy of size 100mmx100mmx20mm with PAMA striplens reflector of model No DA 972.0 fixed with and incl MS Stud of size as per manufactures instructions etc complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

S&F in repair solar cat eye aluminum alloy shall (100% water proofing design according to 65) of size 125mm x 125mm x 25mm (shank 65mm) of high efficiency Mono rystafie solar panel 2.4V/0.3 watt one NI-ed rechargeable battery (1.2V/1600MA) consisting of super bright LED with 10,000 to 18,000 mcd completed as per manufactures instructions etc complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

S&F in repair metal tubular dealineator made out of ABS round body fitted with 2 Nos 65 mm dia highly reflective reflectors made out of PMMA and mounted on 45/50 mm dia mild steel pipe of 600 mm height duly powder coated and thermo plastic elastomer 3 bands of green, red and yellow reflector radium tape of 25 mm wide strips with anti theft steel net for reflector protection including embedding in PCC 1:2:4 (150x150x300mm) type B1, complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

S&F 750mm dia convex mirror mounted on metal sheet body and frame work suitable for road side mounted on angle iron 50x50x6mm for mirror botton each 1.20m high above GL and fixed with PCC 1:3:6 type C2 including demolition and including preparation of new steel surfaces and applying two coat synthetic enamel paint over acoat of red oxide complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

M&L for plain cement concrete type B-2, (1:2:4)) using 40mm graded aggregate as in flooring / hardstanding including demolition of concrete in ground floor and paving n exc 15 cm thickness (below above ground level) complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Dismantling of stone set paving of any description or any thickness in floors etc laid bedded and pointed in any mortar complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Note : Work will be patches or in bulk.

M&L for stone sett flooring with stone setts of size 200 to 250mm long, 150 to 200mm wide and 150mm deep and sides dressed; bedded in cement mortar 1:3, joints 20mm thick; grouted in cement mortar 1:2 with an admixture of metallic floor hardner 5% by weight of cement and struck flush pointed in any mortar of any description or thickness complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Note:- Stone for the setts shall be of the best quality, granite, trap, basalt or quartzite. Use of sedimentary stone shall not be permitted. Stone setts shall be approximately rectangular in shape with a tolerance of plus or minus 12 mm.

All as per Item No 11.00 here-in-before but except stone sett flooring complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Note :- Stone obtained from serial item No. 11.00

M&L for providing plain cement concrete type B-1, 1:2:4, (using 20 mm graded crushed stone aggregate), as in benching, copings, bed block for filing hollow space of steel chowkhats, including weathering, slightly rounded or chamfered angles & throating as directed including necessary form work as required and including demolition of concrete in ground floor and paving n exc 15 cm thickness (below above ground level) complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Demolition of Concrete in ground floors and pavings n exc 15 cm thickness (below or above ground level) complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

M&L for cement concrete 1:4:8, type D-2, using 40 mm graded stone aggregate as in Sub base for floor complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

M&L for rubber moulded supplying and laying 80mm thick factory made chamfered edge cement concrete paver block of M-25 grade with approved colour, design & pattern as in footpath,parks, lawns, drive ways or light traffic parking etc., of required strength, thickness & size/ shape, made by table vibratorymethod using PU mould, laid in required colour & pattern over and including 50mm thick compacted bed of coarse sand,compacting and proper embedding/ laying of inter locking paver blocks into the sand bedding layer through vibratory compaction by using plate vibrator, filling the joints with fine sand and cutting of paver block as per required size and pattern, finishing and sweeping extra sand; complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Note : colour and design as approved by GE

M&L for providing and laying at or near ground level factory made kerb stone of M-25 grade cement concrete in position to the required line, level and curvature, jointed with cement mortar 1:3 (1 cement: 3 coarse sand), including making joints with or without grooves (thickness of joints except at sharp curve shall not to more than 5mm), including making drainage opening wherever required complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Dismantling of road sign boards at any shape, type, size, sections incl taking out embedded portion in PCC/ natural ground and making good complete all as specified

M&L for cement concrete (1:3:6) type C-1 using 20mm graded stone aggt as in foundaton, filling, mass concrete and sub floors etc. complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

S&F in repair stainless steel tube of 50mm dia (Grade-304) and thickness Guage 18 including welding, jointing complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

S&F in repair 2mm thick aluminium sheet, face to be fully covered with high intensity encapsulated type heat activated retro reflective sheeting conforming to type - IV of ASTM-D 4956-01 in blue and silver white or other colour combination including subject matter, message (bi-lingual), symbols and borders etc. as per IRC ; 67:2001, pasted on substrate by an adhesive backing which shall be activated by applying heat and pressure conforming to class -2 of ASTM-D-4956-01 and fixing the same with suitable sized aluminium alloy rivets @ 20 cm c/c to back support frame . The letters approximately covering upto 50% area of the board complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

M&L for repair to pot holes of any depth, not exc 1 sq m each including sweeping free from dust and mud, or water, scoring sunken surfaces in roads, paths, etc. cutting around edges to at least 25 mm in depth and making good by filling in screened and graded road metal, watering and well ramming (including supply of road metal) complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.
