Replacement of carbon brushes to 1000 KW slip-ring type 11KV electric motor by way of opening the windows of the top shield, removing the worn-out carbon brushes from the motor by disconnecting the carbon brush leads after opening the nut and bolts. The job includes providing and fitting new carbon brushes complete set comprising of 12 no. brushes, connecting the carbon brush lead with the system and then testing on full load.
